Chapter 10

The straight-line distance between Second High and where Zhou Yi lives is 10 kilometers, but walking it's roughly twenty-something kilometers.

Usually he takes the bus home.

This time, however, in order to complete the daily quest, Zhou Yi ran home.

【Long-Distance Run (20KM/20KM)】

By the time he reached the entrance of his residential compound, the running section of the daily quest had changed its status accordingly.

"As expected, the class change to Holy Knight raised all my stats quite a bit."

Standing at the compound entrance, Zhou Yi, who had run over twenty kilometers, was only slightly out of breath.

If it had been before his class change, he probably wouldn't have made it past 10 kilometers before collapsing from exhaustion!

To confirm his current stats, Zhou Yi opened the personal information panel that everyone has.

【Strength: 18; Constitution: 17; Agility: 16; Intelligence: 18.】

These are Zhou Yi's current personal stats.

For ordinary people, the four stats can generally be considered to average around 10.

And his four stats before the class change were even worse — not even reaching the average of 10.

"No wonder I don't feel tired — my four stats have risen so much."

"With this, my four stats are also considered pretty much up there among all Second High students."

Zhou Yi's eyes lit up.

There are quite a few people in Second High with backing, thanks to the support of their well-connected families.

Among those people, it's not uncommon to find seventeen-year-olds who reached Level 10 and changed classes early.

Still, from what he'd heard before, the top two students of Second High's Rocket Class only had four-stat averages of around 24.

This single class change instantly narrowed the gap between him and those top students by nearly half!

"There's still one month until the college entrance exam. If the daily quests really can grant corresponding rewards,

surpassing those people would be a piece of cake."

Thinking of this, Zhou Yi couldn't wait any longer and hurried back to his home.

To continue completing the remaining exercise requirements of the daily quest.

His original home had long been sold to pay for his mother's medical treatment.

So the place he lives now is just a rented room of a little over ten square meters.

Although the rented room is small, it's still no problem for doing some daily exercises.

In less than half an hour, Zhou Yi, who had just finished his last push-up, also received a system notification.

【Long-Distance Run (20KM/20KM)】

【Power Jumps (200/200)】

【Push-Ups (200/200)】

【Daily quest completion detected. You may obtain a reward from the following choices.】

【Reward 1: Gain 10 free stat points.】

【Reward 2: Gain 10 skill points.】

【Reward 3: Random skill book.】

【Reward 4: Random treasure chest.】

Without hesitation, Zhou Yi chose Reward 1 directly.

And the moment he finished choosing, his personal panel instantly gained 10 free stat points.

Not only that, the instant he obtained the reward, all the accumulated fatigue in his body vanished, and even his condition returned to its peak state.

"As expected, 10 more free stat points!"

Zhou Yi couldn't help but burst into laughter.

With this, while others can only rely on free stat points and skill points gained from leveling up, he can obtain them all through daily quests!

Pulling ahead of others — wouldn't that be a breeze?

"I have the free stats now. Next, let's see how to distribute them."

Zhou Yi fell into thought.

Because free stat points are scarce, it's impossible to distribute points evenly across different classes.

They need to allocate points selectively.

For example, mages mainly invest in Intelligence.

Assassins naturally focus on raising Agility.

"But my situation is different from theirs.

As long as I can complete the daily quests, I can obtain an endless supply of free stats.

In that case, I'll just distribute everything evenly for now!"

The college entrance exam in the Central Xia Nation takes the form of entering dungeons.

Before the exam begins, no one knows what they'll encounter inside the dungeon.

Ordinary students will choose to enter in groups to handle different situations.

But correspondingly, their scores will also be lower.

Zhou Yi's goal, however, is to solo the dungeon and push for as high a ranking as possible.

Therefore, balanced development is extremely important.

So, with just a thought, the 10 free stat points were evenly distributed across his four stats.

And the two extra points were added to Intelligence and Constitution.

Fisting his hand slightly, Zhou Yi could feel that his strength had increased considerably compared to just now.

With the attribute points allocated, Zhou Yi took out the wooden box Principal Luo had given him from his backpack.

"Principal Luo is a Level 21 Warrior; I heard he once followed a warband and fought on the front lines in his early years.

The value of what he gave should be extraordinary."

Opening the wooden box, a light blue vial about ten centimeters long lay inside.

Name: 【Constitution Enhancement Potion】

Effect: 【After consumption, combined with exercise, it can increase Constitution by 2 points within one month. Note: This effect is only effective for practitioners with Constitution below 25.】

"It's actually a Constitution Enhancement Potion?"

"Principal Luo really went all out!"

Having viewed this information through the Basic Appraisal Technique, Zhou Yi raised an eyebrow.

A potion that can increase Constitution by 2 points is probably worth more on the market than the hundred-thousand reward the school gave!

After all, this is the critical moment just before the college entrance exam.

Even increasing Constitution by just 1 point is enough to surpass others by a thousand ranks.

Pulling out the stopper, Zhou Yi downed the vial's contents in one gulp.

The Constitution Enhancement Potion requires daily exercise to take effect.

So, after finishing the potion, Zhou Yi didn't look at his personal information again; instead, he looked up at the wall clock.

At this moment, it was five in the afternoon.

"It's five o'clock; time to bring food to my little sister."

Zhou Yi's eyes flashed as he took off his stinky clothes.

After a quick shower and changing into a clean set of clothes, he simply stir-fried a few dishes and put them into a lunch box.

Only then did he walk out the door, heading toward the hospital.
