Chapter 184

"The second stage of the Grand Competition has finally begun! I'm going to challenge rank 154!"

"Heh heh, my class isn't really suited for dealing with monsters, but it's pretty well suited for dealing with humans—I'm going to challenge rank 86!"

"......"

Although the Xiong Guai instance can test out part of a person's strength, there are still some strengths that cannot be tested through instance monsters.

For example, the hidden class: Spiritual Mind Master.

For a Spiritual Mind Master, the higher the opponent's intelligence, the more formidable they become.

Conversely, the lower the intelligence, the less they are affected.

Apart from this, there were also some other rather special classes, all of which, at the start of this second-stage competition, were putting their backs into it and issuing challenges one after another.

Of course, there were also quite a few people who simply saw someone as a soft persimmon and issued challenges on the spur of the moment.

After all, this ranking concerned the future allocation of academic credits and dormitory arrangements.

These three challenge opportunities—why waste them!

With such a mindset, in the blink of an eye the rear of the entire training ground, all twenty combat platforms, gradually filled with figures.

And the deans and mentors on the etiquette platform were also watching the freshmen's competition performances from up high.

Some won and laughed wildly.

Some lost and cursed in secret with regret.

For a time, the entire training ground was in an uproar.

Yet Zhou Yi, ranked first among the freshmen, now appeared to have nothing to do.

Just as he was standing at the front feeling a bit bored, he suddenly heard a voice that touched upon his own name.

"I want to challenge Zhou Yi! His ranking doesn't match his reputation!"

This voice wasn't loud, but the instant it fell—

it made Training Ground No. 1, which had just been as noisy as a vegetable market, fall considerably quieter.

Pair after pair of astonished eyes turned to look.

After seeing the one who had issued the challenge, some of the specially-recruited students were even more secretly astonished.

"It's Liu Jing! What's gotten into him! How dare he question Zhou Yi's ranking?"

"Although Liu Jing's ranking rose from the original 38 to 20th place, it's still not a reason to be this arrogant?"

"Could it be that at the Shengjianmian Society, Zhou Yi's leg-whip back then made him lose his mind?"

...... hmm.

PS: At the start of the month, begging for some monthly tickets, many thanks~~~~.
