Chapter 291: Information on University Teams

After packing up, Zhou Yi and his group also arrived at the villa where Teacher Wu Mang and the others were staying.

Compared to the student villas, this instructor villa looked a bit more luxurious.

The floor was paved with expensive magic crystals, and standing on it, the recovery speed of magical power was more than double the usual rate.

The hall was also filled with many decorative ornaments that looked extremely exquisite.

"Come on over."

Seeing Zhou Yi's group come in, Wu Mang in the living room beckoned and said.

"Teacher Su, activate the Shielding barrier."

After everyone had gathered around, he said to a female teacher in her thirties beside him.

This time, besides Wu Mang, there were three other teachers who had brought the expedition team to Qingjing University.

These three teachers were Su Mei from the War Academy, Su Shuang from the Element Academy, and Liu Jinyang from the Weapon Academy.

The upcoming discussion would involve matters of the competition. Although Qingjing University was unlikely to spy on them,

after all, it was someone else's turf, so being cautious was always for the best.

"Understood."

Su Shuang nodded slightly, her staff tapping the ground lightly.

A massive magic array expanded outward with her at its center, forming a pale blue magic dome that encompassed everyone within.

This was the Shielding magic array.

It could completely isolate all light, sound, and even life fluctuations within the array from the outside world.

With the Shielding magic deployed, Wu Mang immediately pressed a button on the watch on his right wrist, and a holographic projection was cast into midair.

"The Grand Finals of the National University Freshman Exchange Competition has a total of ten participating schools. They are our Suhang University, Qingjing University, Modu University, Hancheng University, Chuannan University..."

Every time Wu Mang read out a school's name, the figure of that school's team would appear in the holographic projection.

These were the promotional images of the expedition teams publicly released by each school.

Suhang University also had one, with Zhou Yi as captain standing right in the middle.

"The main reason I've called everyone here today is to let you understand the situation of these opponents."

"Although our main opponents are Modu University and Qingjing University, the other seven universities cannot be underestimated either."

"After all, they were selected from over three thousand universities nationwide."

"Next, I'll give you a general rundown of the situation of these school teams..."

Under Wu Mang's narration, detailed information on all members of the other nine universities participating in the Grand Finals was introduced.

All this intelligence had been collected in advance by Suhang University's intelligence department before departure.

Of course...

This intelligence wasn't necessarily accurate. After all, no university would fully expose the strength of its expedition team.

Especially Qingjing University and Modu University, who were also seeded contenders.

Although the intelligence might not be accurate, quite a bit of information could still be analyzed from it.

Additionally, during the training over the past two-plus months, the levels of the entire Suhang University expedition team had changed.

Jiang Churan had reached Level 19, and the rest were at least Level 18.

With higher levels came correspondingly better memory.

Although they hadn't yet reached the level of photographic memory, they still managed to commit most of the information Wu Mang narrated to heart.

After spending half an hour sorting through the approximate strength of each team, Wu Mang spoke again:

"Next, I'll tell you the schedule arrangement for this Grand Finals of the National University Freshman Exchange Competition."

"The opening ceremony of the Grand Finals will begin at 9 AM on November 1st."

"After the opening ceremony concludes, the Grand Finals will officially begin."

"The Grand Finals consist of three events: the team competition, the singles competition, and the survival competition."

"The team competition uses a points system. Each university will compete against the other nine universities, recording wins and losses. The university with the most wins takes first place in the team competition."

"The singles competition uses an elimination format. Ten universities, one hundred people, randomly paired off in one-on-one matchups, ultimately producing eight qualifying spots. Among them, six from the winners' bracket and two from the losers' bracket. These final eight will continue to face off in pairs, contending for the ultimate championship."

"The survival competition uses a points system and will be held in a wilderness area overrun with magical beasts. It lasts five days. During this period, hunting magical beasts will earn corresponding points, and final rankings will be determined by points."

"Of these three events, the team competition and singles competition will be held alternately, while the survival competition is placed last."

"In other words, the first event after the opening ceremony is the team competition."

"Starting the second day, it will be the singles competition, with the two alternating..."

"..."

The National University Freshman Exchange Competition is a grand event of Zhongxia Nation. The Grand Finals, rich in events, also attracts the attention of countless people nationwide.

Large numbers of top-tier legions and guilds would use this Grand Finals to scout promising talents for their factions early on.

Even some foreign forces would take this opportunity to assess the comprehensive national strength of Zhongxia Nation.

After all, young geniuses represent the future of a country!

Precisely because of this, the entire Grand Finals schedule spans nearly a month.

And the scoring rules for each event are different—some are even extremely complex...

"In short, just remember this: defeat every enemy standing before you!"

Wu Mang concluded in the end.

PS: At the start of the month, begging for some monthly tickets~~~ Thank you all for your support~~.
