Chapter 32: Minotaur Charge, Air Slash—This Power Is Insane

The minotaur was massive, standing four meters tall, with thick, rugged skin and bulging muscles.

Its tough skin was like a layer of protective membrane.

Protecting the minotaur from being burned to death by flames.

"Area damage, and sustained at that."

"Holy Cross, no wonder it's a B-rank AoE divine technique!!"

Seeing the terrifying damage caused by his Holy Cross, Zhou Yi's eyes lit up.

Like talents, skills also have their own ranks.

From low to high, they are ranked F, E, D, C, B, A, S—higher rank means stronger effect!

Of course, the higher the rank, the harder the skill is to obtain.

And this Holy Cross skill.

Was obtained by him from a random skill book awarded as a daily system quest reward.

Since he had never used it in actual combat, he didn't know how much damage it truly dealt.

Now, seeing it in action, the damage of Holy Cross was even better than he imagined.

Of course, Zhou Yi knew.

This was partly due to the S+ talent, Guardian of the Holy Angel, enhancing it.

If a regular paladin cast this skill, the output would never be this high.

"Only this minotaur left—finish it off in one go."

Zhou Yi smiled slightly, drew his battle-axe—still glowing with golden Weapon Blessing—and charged toward the minotaur ahead.

Though a monster, the minotaur had developed some intelligence.

Sensing Zhou Yi's condescension, the minotaur's nostrils expelled thicker, hotter breath.

"Roar!!"

After roaring, the minotaur, enduring the ongoing flame damage from Holy Cross, crouched low, horns forward, and charged at Zhou Yi.

Savage Charge!!

The minotaur's talent skill.

When used, the minotaur enters an invulnerable state—no damage can interrupt this charge!!

Facing the minotaur charging with Savage Charge, Zhou Yi didn't dodge at all.

Just before reaching the minotaur, he reached out with his left hand.

The massive, invulnerable minotaur was snatched directly by Zhou Yi and dragged forward with him!!

【Tiger Rush LV5 (D-rank): Grabs a target ahead, runs a short distance while holding them, then throws them, dealing multiple hits.】

Tiger Rush, a prerequisite skill for the Knight class.

Its damage isn't high, but its practical effect—interrupting invulnerability and granting invulnerability to the user—makes many Knights allocate skill points to it.

Tiger Rush was also a skill Zhou Yi learned before his class transformation.

Because its utility outweighed its damage, he only leveled it to LV5.

But even so, the minotaur he grabbed slammed into a towering tree with a trunk over fifty centimeters in diameter—with a thud!

The tree trunk shook, leaves fluttering down.

Bright red blood seeped from countless wounds on the minotaur's body.

Fresh red blood seeped out from all over the Minotaur's body.

The minotaur staggered to its feet.

Realizing its Savage Charge had been interrupted, it roared in fury.

Its originally blood-stained, earth-brown skin rapidly turned crimson, its eyes deepening to a scarlet hue.

It had entered a Berserk state!!

In Berserk state, the minotaur charged again, more than twice as fast as before.

In its berserk state, the Minotaur charged forward once more at a speed more than double what it had been before.

Zhou Yi's gaze sharpened; he swung his battle-axe like a giant windmill!

【Air Slash LV7 (E-rank): Strikes an enemy with a heavy weapon, launching them airborne; user enters invulnerable state during activation.】

Under the effect of Air Slash, the massive minotaur was blasted straight into the air by the battle-axe!!

Under the effect of the Air-Slash Strike skill, the massive Minotaur was actually sent flying into the air by the battle axe!!

Without hesitation, Zhou Yi swung both arms, immediately following up with an Attribute magic attack.

Zhou Yi did not hesitate; with a sweep of both arms, he immediately followed up with a burst of light-attribute magic damage.
