Chapter 418

After all, this person was a forging grandmaster who specialized in crafting Legend Rank weapons, possessing extremely rich experience in setting equipment special effects.

"Longsword? I've watched your battle videos. The weapon you originally used should be a battle axe."

Master Qijun's brows furrowed slightly. The black-robed man beside him was also somewhat surprised and hurriedly said:

"Zhou Yi, everyone's combat style is different, and the characteristics of customized weapons also vary from person to person.

Before this, Master Qi had already watched your battle videos and had certain ideas about your battle axe weapon. Why have you suddenly switched to a longsword now?"

Zhou Yi suddenly understood upon hearing this.

That's true.

After all, it was a customized Legend Rank weapon. It was perfectly normal for the forger to craft the weapon based on the user's combat style.

"Then I can only choose the battle axe as my weapon?"

Zhou Yi could not help but ask.

If he had not obtained the S+ grade Sacred Sword Heart talent, customizing a Handle of Legend Rank battle axe would naturally be best.

But now that he had the Sacred Sword Heart, Zhou Yi still wanted to customize a Legend Rank longsword as his weapon.

"Choosing a longsword is also fine, but in your previous battles, I never saw any combat scenes where you used a longsword as your weapon.

Because of this, I also have no way to forge the weapon according to your combat style."

Master Qijun said in a deep voice, "I believe you also don't want the weapon I forge to not match your wishes, right?"

"I understand this point." Zhou Yi nodded slightly.

Longsword was an extremely broad weapon category.

Professionals who liked a bold and sweeping style often chose heavy longswords.

While professionals with an unpredictable style might choose longswords with light blades, even longswords that provided certain attack speed bonuses.

Different combat styles led to longswords belonging to the same category yet having vastly different styles from one another.

"How about this, Master Qi, I'll demonstrate my usual usage of sword-type weapons to you right now."

Zhou Yi immediately stood up from the sofa, a black longsword already gripped in his hand, and then began demonstrating at once.

After obtaining the Sacred Sword Heart talent, Zhou Yi could already be said to be a sword dao grandmaster.

Whether it was bold and sweeping, or unfathomably strange, he could execute either at will.

However, perhaps influenced by his previous use of the battle axe, Zhou Yi still preferred a bold and sweeping swordsmanship style.

Whoosh—

Sword light flickered. Zhou Yi pushed himself to the limit within this limited space, completely displaying his combat style.

"Bold and sweeping, sharp and aggressive. Although you've switched to a longsword as your weapon, your combat style is pretty much the same as when you used the battle axe." Master Qijun on the projection screen nodded slightly.

Once a person's combat style was set, even if they switched weapons, it would not easily change.

"This......"

The black-robed man beside him was somewhat shocked upon seeing this.

He had not expected that Zhou Yi, who used a battle axe as his weapon, could actually possess such high talent on the sword dao!

"Alright, your weapon requirements and combat style have been confirmed. As for how to forge this Legend Rank longsword of yours, I already have a general direction."

Hearing these words, Zhou Yi could not help but light up. "Thank you very much, Master Qijun!"

"No need to thank me. I am merely fulfilling the Alliance's request."

"Two months from now, your Legend Rank weapon will be forged. At that time, I will have it delivered to your school through the Xiayanlian Alliance."

After saying these words, the screen flickered slightly, and then Master Qijun's figure disappeared from the projection.
