Chapter 158: Breakout Battle in the Nest (Part 2)

Seeing hope for a breakout, Zhu Zhiquan immediately shouted, "Azhao, sit tight, we're going to charge out in one go!"

Upon hearing Zhu Zhiquan's words, Zhao Yuxin immediately had Xuebao take the wheel, while she herself pressed against the carriage and entered the Tricycle.

Looking at Zhao Yuxin's weak appearance, Ling Xi poked her head out and asked, "Sister Zhao, are you alright now? Are you injured anywhere?"

Zhao Yuxin sat in the carriage, shook her head, and said, "Thank you for your concern, Sister Ling. I'm fine, but now is not the time for concern; it would be better if we broke out early."

Ling Xi gave a hum, turned her head, and shouted to Sun Zi, "Husband, sit tight, we're about to break out!"

"Right!" Sun Zi flipped back into the carriage, and at the same time, the Floating Cannon beside him quickly fell apart after firing, turning into a puff of smoke and dissipating.

As Xuebao stepped on the gas, the Tricycle let out a roar, crushing the Magma Cave Ant-men along the way. Ling Xi drove their Tricycle behind them, while the smart Artillery on the roof aimed at the Magma Cave Ant General in mid-air.

The Magma Cave Ant General in mid-air saw its prey trying to escape and immediately swung its fists at the Tricycle below, while its Magic Power surged out from its fists with every punching motion.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Xuebao and Ling Xi each drove their Tricycles, dodging the attacks of the Magma Cave Ant General.

Zhu Zhiquan jumped onto the Tricycle of Sun Zi Fu Fu with the Durian Warriors and unleashed the Phoenix Cloud Fire; immediately, four fire phoenixes flew toward the Magma Cave Ant General, braving the attacks.

The Magma Cave Ant General just dodged to the side, and the four fire phoenixes missed it.

Just as the Magma Cave Ant General was preparing to counterattack again, Ling Xi controlled the smart Artillery to shoot it down. This shot directly blasted away half of its body.

However, it was not dead yet and struggled to support its body to launch an attack again.

Seeing the Magma Cave Ant General still daring to charge over, Zhu Zhiquan had the Durian Warriors clear a path for him, while he himself dragged the Xuangang Spear and rushed in front of the Magma Cave Ant General to engage in battle.

Soon, the Magma Cave Ant General, missing half its body, gradually fell into a disadvantage. The surrounding sleeping Magma Cave Ant-men slowly woke up under the aftermath of the battle, but with the firepower support of the Durian Warriors and the Tricycles, these Magma Cave Ant-men could not play any role.

In the end, the Magma Cave Ant General was stabbed in the throat by Zhu Zhiquan's spear and died on the spot. At the same time, Zhu Zhiquan received a system prompt: "Your Personal Panel has been updated, please check it."

After killing the Magma Cave Ant General, Zhu Zhiquan looked around and discovered that more and more Magma Cave Ant-men were waking up, ready to completely surround them at any moment.

Thus, Zhu Zhiquan did not even perform a Soul Sacrifice and returned to his own Tricycle with the Durian Warriors.

The two Tricycles quickly broke through the encirclement of the Ant Swarm. Gradually, the Ant Swarm grew further and further away from them, and only then did Zhu Zhiquan and the others have time to look at the appearance of the entire large nest.

Zhao Yuxin lay on the car window and shone a flashlight around. Soon, she discovered that the height of this nest was at least one hundred meters, and its length and width were completely beyond the range of the flashlight.

At this time, the Tricycle of Sun Zi Fu Fu was driving side-by-side with their vehicle. Sun Zi threw a bomb at the Ant Swarm behind them and asked, "Brother, where are we running to?"

Zhao Yuxin: "We don't know where to go right now either, we can only follow this path and keep going forward."

"Alright then."

Everyone stopped talking and drove the Tricycles at high speed through the nest. The Ant Swarm behind them chased after them with yelps and cries, gradually falling further and further behind.

As the Tricycles drove on, some structures within the nest appeared before everyone's eyes. Looking at the structures outside the car window, Zhao Yuxin felt her stomach churning.

This was because these structures were mostly composed of various bones, and there were still remnants of minced meat on these bones. Beside these structures were many corpses, among which human corpses accounted for the highest proportion.

The two Tricycles continued to advance, and along the way, the various architectural remains all spoke of the terror of the Magma Cave Ant-men.

Not long after, they saw Magma Cave Ant-men in the distance organizing transport, and around them, a group of scantily clad men and women were picking and carrying mushrooms from rotting wood.

At this moment, a Ghost Horn Ant blocked the middle of the road and charged toward Zhu Zhiquan's group.

Zhao Yuxin: "Sister Ling, you do it, our artillery is prone to accidentally injuring those people."

After hearing this, Ling Xi controlled the smart Artillery to aim at the Ghost Horn Ant. Just as she was about to press the button, a cannon blast came from the right, and the Ghost Horn Ant was blown to pieces on the spot.

Xuebao and Ling Xi stepped on the brakes at the same time and looked together in the direction the cannon sound came from.

They saw a V5-level Tricycle driving toward them quickly, with a cannon with a fist-sized caliber mounted on it, and a roller installed at the front of the vehicle, covered in Spikes.

Behind this vehicle, a large group of the Ant Swarm was in pursuit. The fastest among them was the Magma Cave Ant General; although it was limping as it ran now, it could barely keep up with the speed of the Tricycle after entering its second stage.

Seeing three vehicles invading this place, the Magma Cave Ant-men responsible for surveillance picked up their weapons and charged at the intruders.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

The two Green Bean Ice Cream Shooters just replenished on the extension platform took the lead, and the Magma Cave Ant General charging at the very front fell like wheat.

The Xunfeng Pea Shooter and the Sandthorn Bomber behind were also ready for battle, but were stopped by Zhao Yuxin.

Zhu Zhiquan remarked from the side: "Azhao, you are too kind."

Zhao Yuxin tucked her hair and said: "No matter what, those people are ordinary people; we should save them if we can."

Zhu Zhiquan sighed and said: "In that case, I will go with all the Durian Warriors. You pass this on to Sun Zi Fu Fu for me; you and they should stall the pursuing Ant Swarm."

Having said that, Zhu Zhiquan took the four Durian Warriors and plunged into the Ant Swarm ahead, quickly killing the Magma Cave Ant-men responsible for acting as overseers.

"There's really no helping you!" Zhao Yuxin grumbled, then turned and told Sun Zi Fu Fu about Zhu Zhiquan's plan.

Ling Xi said worriedly: "He hasn't unlocked a Transcendental Profession yet, will there be any danger? Should we go help wipe out those ants?"

Zhao Yuxin first had Xuebao change the direction of the Tricycle, then replied: "No need, that guy is stubborn! For him, these little ants are a piece of cake; we'd better help him hold off the pursuing Ant Swarm."

Ling Xi wanted to say something more, but seeing Zhu Zhiquan and the Durian Warriors wiping out the Magma Cave Ant-men with superhuman speed, she had no choice but to choose to delay the speed of the pursuers.

Sun Zi was even more speechless: "We can barely save ourselves now, and we still have to worry about these indigenous people? I really don't understand what you are thinking."

Zhao Yuxin did not respond to Sun Zi's words, only having the Ice Cream Cactus fire at the Ant Swarm while she created more Combat Plants.

The fleeing Tricycle saw someone bringing four strange creatures to rescue the indigenous people, and those two Tricycles were driving in their direction; for a moment, they couldn't figure out what they were trying to do.

In the driver's seat of this vehicle, a man with a scar cursed loudly: "Ah-shi-ba! Don't run over there to throw your lives away! Can't you just abandon these natives? You have to..."

Before he could finish his sentence, he saw the strange plants on the Tricycle equipped with an extension platform begin to attack, their firepower no less than that of a company.

The other high-tech Tricycle was controlling its artillery to fire continuously, and a hand reached out from the carriage, turning into a machine gun and strafing continuously.

This caused the pursuit speed of the Ant Swarm behind to slow down significantly, only that this machine gun started bleeding continuously as it fired.

The man with the scar looked at the man in the distance slaughtering with strange creatures, then looked at the suppressed Ant Swarm, calculated in his heart, and accelerated toward the Tricycle with the strange plants.
