Chapter 168: Leaving the Nest

At the edge of the Ant Swarm, a Tricycle covered in gashes and blood was accelerating away, while a pipe at the rear of the vehicle was spewing blue flames to propel it forward.

In the driver's seat, Sun Zi wiped the sweat from his face and slammed his foot down on the accelerator.

"Damn! Finally broke out! Good thing we're lucky and tough!" Sun Zi kept complaining, feeling fortunate to have escaped death.

Just as Zaimier and the four Magma Cave Generals were clashing, their Tricycle had been overturned by the powerful shockwaves, causing them to spend some time flipping the vehicle back over, which resulted in them being caught up to by the Ant Swarm.

The damage on the vehicle was partly caused by the Magma Cave Ant Generals, but even more was caused by fleeing players and villagers.

Fortunately, after the four Magma Cave Generals killed Zaimier, they took her corpse away and did not stay to deal with them.

Zhu Zhiquan and Zhuangzhuang were resting in the carriage; at this moment, Zhu Zhiquan opened his panel and saw the messages sent by Zhao Yuxin and Ling Xi at first glance, then immediately sent private messages to both of them.

Soon, Zhao Yuxin replied first: "Ajiu, you finally replied! You scared me to death!"

Zhu Zhiquan: "How are you all?"

Zhao Yuxin: "We are all fine. We have parked the vehicle in a tunnel dug by a Green Leaf Burrowing Vine, and with the help of the Magic Potion gifted by Buyelu Village, we are completely fine. I even have the intention of selling the Magic Potion."

Zhu Zhiquan: "What about Ling Xi? Why doesn't she use a Portal to teleport us?"

Zhao Yuxin: "Sister Ling suffered a backlash from her talent and can't even move now. I'll trade the Green Leaf Burrowing Vine and that Magic Potion to you."

Soon, the Sun Zi Fu Fu's food-trading doll spat out a Green Leaf Burrowing Vine and a barrel of Gajia Magic Potion, and Zhu Zhiquan immediately ordered the Green Leaf Burrowing Vine to dig a hole on the spot.

The Green Leaf Burrowing Vine received the order and immediately began digging in front; in the blink of an eye, a tunnel large enough to fit the Tricycle was formed.

Sun Zi immediately drove the Tricycle inside, and after the Tricycle entered the tunnel, Zhu Zhiquan immediately threw a Molotov Cocktail, and the next second, scorching flames sealed the entire entrance.

Some low-level Magma Cave Ant-men pursuing from behind saw the firelight and curiously walked in, only to end up losing their lives.

The Magma Cave Ant Generals in the sky soon noticed this and immediately sent a Magma Cave Ant-man to report the situation to a Magma Cave General.

Before long, a Magma Cave General led a group of Magma Cave Ant-men to the burning tunnel entrance, only this time the flames at the entrance were much smaller.

The Magma Cave General was not in a hurry, instead letting the excavation-proficient Ghost Horn Ant come out to sense whether there was a tunnel below.

Inside the tunnel, Sun Zi drove the Tricycle behind the Green Leaf Burrowing Vine.

In the carriage, to be safe, Zhu Zhiquan contacted Zhao Yuxin to trade for a few more Green Leaf Burrowing Vines, and then every certain distance, Zhu Zhiquan would have these Green Leaf Burrowing Vines dig in other directions and smear Magic Potion on all the intersections.

Half an hour passed unknowingly, and the Ghost Horn Ant beside the Magma Cave General could never find the location of Zhu Zhiquan and the others due to the complex terrain.

Instead, it allowed Ling Xi to recover from her weakened state, and she opened a Portal to meet up with Zhu Zhiquan and the others.

Zhao Yuxin jumped off the vehicle and threw herself into Zhu Zhiquan's arms, saying excitedly: "Ajiu, it's so good that you're okay!"

Zhu Zhiquan held her without speaking, his eyes full of love for her.

Sun Zi couldn't watch anymore, so he complained to them: "Alright, you two lovebirds, stop being all lovey-dovey. We'd better leave here quickly, otherwise we'll be found sooner or later!"

"Who's a lovebird with him!" Zhao Yuxin immediately let go when she heard Sun Zi's words, her face blushing with shyness.

Zhu Zhiquan stood to the side in silence, but a layer of red also crept onto his face.

The Sun Zi Fu Fu did not care about their relationship, instead urging them to command the Green Leaf Burrowing Vine.

The two stopped dawdling and had the Green Leaf Burrowing Vine dig in other directions.

After an unknown amount of time, Zhao Yuxin's Bat Wing Ear captured that the battle above had ended, and now there were only the sounds of Magma Cave Ant-men moving things and controlling others.

She then said to Zhu Zhiquan: "Ajiu, do you think these people still have a chance to escape?"

Zhu Zhiquan shook his head, only driving the Tricycle behind the Green Leaf Burrowing Vine.

After another unknown amount of time, Zhao Yuxin felt that the information transmitted by the sound waves above told her that they had left the range of the Mother Nest.

Zhao Yuxin then had the Sun Zi Fu Fu open the Peeping Crystal, and soon Sun Zi replied: "According to the crystal's display, there are three spaces similar to the Mother Nest nearby. I am certain we have been to one of them, but the other two are hard to say."

After reading Sun Zi's message, Zhao Yuxin replied: "Okay, in that case, I'll have the Green Leaf Burrowing Vine keep digging upward, hoping to leave this dangerous place soon."

Zhao Yuxin then followed the direction pointed out by Sun Zi, had the Green Leaf Burrowing Vine keep digging in other directions, and entered the World Channel herself to see if there was any new news before creating new plants.

Homesick A-Fu: "Damn, that scared me to death! I thought I wouldn't be able to come back!"

Huahua: "What happened to the person above?"

Homesick A-Fu: "I just escaped death from a large Mother Nest. If it weren't for Yangguang Xujie constantly selling Green Leaf Burrowing Vines, I might have lost my life!"

King of the Desert: "Hahaha~ You guys are really pathetic. Unlike me, when I encounter this situation, I activate my talent myself to return to my position from two hours ago."

Caoxie Meimei: "Do you think they will let us go challenge the Mother Nest in the outermost layer?"

Zhuxing Lvtuans Xiaozi: "Damn! Don't scare me! If we really have to fight the Mother Nest, wouldn't that be suicide!"

Duyan Chuanzhang: "That's right. Most players can't even beat one Magma Cave Ant General right now; making us fight the Mother Nest is simply asking us to die!"

Jiujiu: "Everyone don't panic. I don't think the Game System would let us complete an impossible mission."

"Besides, my teammates have done statistics. Whenever we encounter a medium-sized or larger Mother Nest, the system will refresh a powerful migrating village. They basically all have the strength to crush the Mother Nest's guardians."

Yangguang Xujie: "You're lying! The village we helped before didn't have the strength to fight a Mother Nest general one-on-one!"

Duyan Chuanzhang: "The villagers I helped didn't have the strength to fight a Mother Nest general one-on-one either. @Jiujiu, can you come out and explain?"

Jiujiu: "Were the villagers you helped met yesterday?"

Yangguang Xujie: "Yes."

Duyan Chuanzhang: "Yes."

Jiujiu: "It's very simple. Those villagers are true natives, so their strength varies. However, some of these natives can directly see our player identities. I am still investigating and collecting statistics on why exactly."

…………………

After reading the World Channel, Zhao Yuxin immediately sent a message to the Sun Zi Fu Fu.
