Chapter 213: Road Chase Battle (Part 2)

While Zhao Yuxin was praying to the Guardian Goddess Statue, Zhu Zhiquan had already carried the previously ordered Psychic Mushroom Grass back into the carriage.

At this moment, that Tricycle using a small car as cover had already snuck to within two or three meters of their Tricycle, and then a player in the carriage pulled out a rocket launcher and aimed it at their flank.

But just as he was about to press the trigger, the plants on the outdoor extension platform immediately opened fire, and this pursuing Tricycle was flipped over on the spot by Arrows and Explosive Fruit.

The players pursuing from behind also saw this; when someone managed to sneak to the side of the opponents by using the locals' vehicles as cover, their eyes lit up, and they all scrambled to find other locals' vehicles to use as cover, closing in on Zhu Zhiquan and the others.

Zhao Yuxin looked at those players using the locals' cars as cover and couldn't help but panic as she suggested to Zhu Zhiquan: "Ajiu, is it time to let the Psychic Mushroom Grass play its part? Or we could use the Five-Star Sword..."

Zhu Zhiquan placed his hand over her mouth while simultaneously drawing the Five-Star Sword.

Zhao Yuxin's first reaction was that Zhu Zhiquan intended to use the Five-Star Sword to kill those players, but who would have thought that Zhu Zhiquan would take out five bowls, put the freshly picked Explosive Chili into them, and then use the Five-Star Sword Clone skill to split out four long swords.

Afterward, Zhu Zhiquan placed a bowl containing an Explosive Chili on each sword and told Xuebao to stop the vehicle.

This decision made even Zhao Yuxin break out in a cold sweat; one had to know that the locals on Blue Star could not see them, the players!

Plus, this highway had locals' cars passing by from time to time; just stopping like this, even if the players didn't make a move, they themselves might be hit and killed by the locals' cars!

Zhao Yuxin still wanted to stop him, but Zhu Zhiquan suddenly gripped her hands, and the confidence revealed in his eyes made her freeze.

Then Zhu Zhiquan nodded slightly, and Zhao Yuxin lowered her head and quipped: "Fine, fine, at worst I'll go to the Yellow Springs with you! But let's get this straight, I won't wait for you when walking the Yellow Springs road, hmph!"

Following Zhao Yuxin's agreement, the Tricycle driven by Xuebao slowly came to a stop at this moment, and those pursuing players saw this and immediately judged that they had run out of fuel.

They immediately stopped relying on the locals' cars for cover and launched a charge at Zhu Zhiquan and the others' Tricycle.

The plants on the outdoor extension platform opened fire simultaneously, and the players also launched a counterattack; in the blink of an eye, all the plants on the outdoor extension platform were blasted to pieces.

Many of the attacks hit Zhu Zhiquan and the others' Tricycle directly, but with the protection of the Guardian Goddess Statue and the Homogeneous Steel Plate, their Tricycle stubbornly held on.

Just at the moment the players launched their attack, Zhu Zhiquan had already controlled the Five-Star Sword to fly into the sky, and with the coordination of Zhao Yuxin's Bat Wing Ear, successfully caused the five Five-Star Swords to fly above the players' heads.

Just as the players had a gap in their attacks, Zhu Zhiquan waved his hand, and the five swords flipped simultaneously; the bowls carried on them fell to the ground, causing the Explosive Chili to collide violently.

Boom, boom, boom—

The Explosive Chili all exploded, kicking up a massive amount of Chili Dust that spread across the highway; everyone caught in the dust let out shrill screams in unison.

They had never expected the Explosive Chili to fall from above their heads and had no precautions at all.

Coupled with the effects brought about by the previous Explosive Chili explosions, this time the sky-filling Chili Dust caused their skin to blister from the heat.

What was even more terrifying was that this Explosive Chili also possessed explosive damage.

The vehicles within the explosion range were flipped over, further aggravating their injuries. Many people even began to feel a burning pain in their entire respiratory system, and a few coughs were enough to see blood flowing from their noses and mouths!

"Watch my magic treasure!" At the critical moment, a player threw out a huge carpet; the carpet danced wildly in the Chili Dust, whipping up a hurricane that blew away the Chili Dust.

Suddenly, everyone immediately felt the air outside the vehicle was much cleaner, so many people jumped out of their cars, but a few unlucky ones didn't look where they were going and were hit and killed on the spot by the Blue Star locals driving by.

At this time, another player, whose talent or skill was unknown, helped everyone clear the chili powder from inside and outside their bodies, and everyone immediately felt the burning pain subside quite a bit.

Just at this moment, Zhu Zhiquan ordered the Psychic Mushroom Grass to attack; the Psychic Mushroom Grass first released an invisible energy wave to lock onto the attack targets, then controlled the swords inside to fly out.

"Lock-Hook Tree Demon stay behind, both Durian Warriors follow me and kill! Charge!" Zhu Zhiquan shouted, waving his arms as he rushed out of the carriage.

In his hands he held a Xuangang Spear, at his waist he carried the Spirit Valley Longsword and the Five-Star Sword's scabbard, and on both hands he wore a Wrist Energy Shield and a Wrist-Mounted Strange Crossbow.

The two Durian Warriors, each equipped with a Xuangang Spear, a Wave Energy Scimitar, and a Wrist Energy Shield, followed closely behind and rushed out.

Zhao Yuxin wanted to stop him, but Zhu Zhiquan had already led the two Durian Warriors to the front of one of the pursuers' Tricycles.

As soon as Zhu Zhiquan came up, he used the Phoenix Cloud Fire skill; four fire phoenixes circled around him once and then all crashed into the first pursuer's Tricycle.

Boom!

A huge explosion rang out, and the players saw Zhu Zhiquan attacking amidst the explosion, their faces filled with disdain.

"You dare to charge at so many of us by yourself, you're really courting death! Brothers, let's go together!" Saying this, a player picked up his weapon, preparing to kill Zhu Zhiquan.

But the next second, his car was hit by a Blue Star local, causing him to miss his aim, and as a result, he was instead pierced through the throat by a Durian Warrior and died on the spot.

Other players also wanted to go up and fight, but because they had to prevent being hit by the Blue Star locals' cars, they could only park their cars on the side of the road, and some even parked on the sidewalk.

There was no help for it; the Game System made it so that players could not interfere with the people of Blue Star who had not transmigrated, and those who had not transmigrated could not perceive them; even if there weren't many people coming and going on this highway, they could only park their cars to the side.

Conversely, Zhu Zhiquan didn't have so many worries; he led the Durian Warriors, charging left and right, while simultaneously controlling the Five-Star Swords to merge into one, reaping lives among the players crazily.

Zhao Yuxin, in the rear, pulled out a Five-Star Sword, used the Five-Star Sword to carry their Tricycle to the roof of a building, and then set up a vantage point on the roof for Zhu Zhiquan and the others, while observing the situation of this battle.

At this time, those Blue Star locals affected by the battle were screaming in succession at first, but suddenly their time seemed to have been reversed; everything returned to being intact, and they continued with their affairs.

And those Tricycles blocking the middle of the sidewalk were passed through by people back and forth, as if they didn't exist.

"Truly amazing! What would it be like if we drove down now?" Zhao Yuxin noticed these details and couldn't help but click her tongue, preparing to try out her idea.

But at this moment, the heavens seemed to have heard her thoughts; when a player saw their own Tricycle being passed through by pedestrians, they immediately tried to drive the car onto the highway.

As a result, the next second, they were hit by a passing large truck, car and all, and sent flying dozens of meters, which made Zhao Yuxin immediately abandon the idea of putting the car down.

"It's safer here after all." Saying this, Zhao Yuxin shot an arrow at a player who wanted to launch a sneak attack, "Yay! A headshot!"
