Chapter 12

ESPN commentators Mike Breen and Mark Jackson were invited to commentate on this Summer League game.

"Hmm?"

Mike Breen's gaze fell on the Bulls' bench, his eyes showing confusion, "Under normal circumstances, in Summer League games, the team head coach won't come along.

Unless there is a superstar.

Like the Cavaliers' LeBron, or the Raptors' Chris Bosh.

So... why did Bulls head coach Skiles come over?!

Could it be because of the shooter Kirk Hinrich?!"

"Yeah."

Mark Jackson realized later, then shook his head, "Hinrich's three-point shooting was indeed not bad in college, but his positioning can only be a role-player shooter.

This level.

I don't think the coach needs to come over, this is indeed a bit strange."

"Ha..."

Mike Breen smiled, "Maybe after Michael Jordan, the Bulls haven't had any players with talent for too long.

Wanting to test Hinrich's ceiling."

"Uh... in that case, it's possible.

However... Bosh has already proven himself in the Summer League, and whether Hinrich can play to the ability of his seventh overall pick.

That's hard to say, but it's also something to look forward to..."

"That's right......"

Before the game.

The two commentators talked back and forth, further warming up for the game.

Soon.

The warm-up was about to end.

Both sides returned to their respective benches to make final preparations for the game.

Bulls bench.

Skiles came to Su Yan and smiled: "Su, don't start tonight, as the team's trump card.

And then... stun everyone.

Hahaha~

I really want to see everyone's expression after being stunned by you!!!"

"Sure."

Su Yan shrugged, not caring at all.

With the blessing of 【Steel Strength】 and 【Eyes of the Heavenly Emperor】, Su Yan knew that as long as he played, he would definitely play well.

Must play well.

Because... currently, with only a 10-day short-term contract, he wanted to secure a better formal contract.

He must put up a good performance.

Secondly.

It is also necessary to win a Rookie of the Week award as soon as possible in the new season.

That way he could complete the system's main quest and get the 【Beginner · Mid-range Shot】 reward, which would definitely improve his basketball skills.

This is a very good reward for Su Yan, who has full insight and max-level dynamic vision, but rough talent and skills.

Must get it as soon as possible.

Thinking of this.

Su Yan had a clear positioning for his short-term goals.

A little later.

The game arrived.

The Raptors got the offensive possession first.

Role-player point guard Pargo pushed it over, then gave a high lob to Bosh in the left low post, who feinted a shot to draw the defense.

"Whoosh!"

Killed his way in.

Raised the ball to the sky.

"Boom!"

Came up with a violent one-handed dunk.

Powerful and heavy.

The rim hummed.

And in the following possession, at the right high post, Bosh hit a mid-range shot over the head of small forward Ballester.

This wasn't over.

Just a minute later, Bosh accelerated inside again, first with a flashy spin, passing the first defender.

Then.

Facing the help-defending center Blount, he used a side-step little hook shot.

"Swish!"

Hit again.

Three possessions, three different offensive methods, Bosh also presented his powerful scoring ability to the fullest.

Looking at Hinrich.

"Clang!"

His first mid-range shot missed.

Although in the following possession, he received a pass from a teammate and hit a three-pointer in the right corner.

But in the next offensive possession, he tried to force his way to the rim one-on-one, facing Bosh's help defense, still appearing somewhat panicked, barely making a high-glass layup.

"Swish!"

Hit.

But clearly... such an attack on the rim carried a bit of luck and wasn't confident enough.

And the judgment of the outcome of this duel currently depended entirely on the performance of the seventh pick Hinrich and the fourth pick Bosh.

Who is fiercer?

Bosh is a cut above.
