Chapter 840

Payton, Ricky Davis, and others immediately rushed up to check on Pierce's situation.

"Pfft!"

Pierce, lying on the ground, gasped for air.

The whole person was quite uncomfortable, and then... his stomach churned, his mouth tasted sweet, and he actually... spat out a mouthful of blood.

Hiss...

Payton, Ricky Davis, and others were instantly panicked.

Head coach Doc Rivers was even more shocked and hurriedly called the team doctor to check.

"Where does it hurt?!"

"Chest!"

The team doctor pressed down gently, but just a light touch made Pierce twitch in pain, "So painful, so painful, my chest seems to have cracked!"

Pierce's mouth twitched in pain.

The team doctor's expression was solemn, and he quickly made a judgment, "Just now in the confrontation, Pierce is very likely to have had his sternum broken by Su Yan!!!"

"So exaggerated?!"

Ricky Davis was full of shock, "Paul Pierce's physical fitness is so outstanding, he still has a small forward's body.

I know Su Yan's physical fitness is also very strong.

But he is a guard after all, so in a mismatch situation, such a confrontation that doesn't look that exaggerated.

How could he break his sternum?!"

"Yes."

Payton also expressed disbelief, "I played against Su Yan last year, and I definitely couldn't beat him in a hardcore confrontation.

But breaking a sternum should be very difficult to do!"

"Indeed!"

The team doctor didn't directly deny their statement, but said, "But the symptoms Paul Pierce is showing now... and the degree of his pain, plus the position of the confrontation.

It is very likely to be this situation now.

I hope not... but now we must immediately return to the locker room and then go for an examination."

"Okay!"

Coach Doc Rivers nodded repeatedly.

Pierce is injured now and definitely can't play, so let's identify his injury immediately.

Hope he's okay.

A few minutes later.

Pierce was carried out on a stretcher.

The fans in the arena were dumbfounded.

"No way? He was carried away just like that?!"

"What happened?! I saw the two of them just confronting each other for a few normal rounds, how did Pierce go down?!"

"It is said that his sternum was shattered!"

"Hiss... is Su Yan's strength that perverted?!"

"It has always been perverted; he can even knock down 'Big Shark' O'Neal, do you say these two are terrifying?!"

However.

Ordinary players won't go head-to-head with him either.

And Su Yan has always used strength to knock opponents away and then stop, then put the basketball in.

This is the ultimate goal of his confrontation, not intentionally aiming at people.

But... Pierce, during this time just now, seemed a bit unclear; he seemed to want to use strength to solve Su Yan, or consume Su Yan.

As a result, he tried to steal a chicken but lost the rice, lost his wife and broke the army, and got himself involved; if there is nothing major, that is fortunate.

Once there is really a problem, and he has to rest for a week or two, or even be out for the season, then the Celtics are ruined by him."

"Hey~ in short... one-on-one, don't think about beating Su Yan, and don't blindly provoke him, there will be no good end!"

"That's right.

That is the 'No. 1 player in the league,' how can an ordinary person provoke him!

Pierce can't do it!!!"

"..."

Fans were discussing in a mess.

And on the court.

Half the time passed, and even after the halftime break, Pierce hadn't returned.

Just as everyone was wondering if Pierce would come back.

News came from the Celtics... Pierce would not return to the game due to injury.

Because it is the position of the sternum.

Either it's fine, or once there is a problem, the consequences may be quite serious; now that Pierce can't return to the court, it means things are not simple.

Some Celtics fans on the court heard this bad news, their hearts tightened, and they faintly sensed something bad!!!

Let's talk about the game.

Su Yan is fine.

And the Celtics, who rely heavily on Pierce, are like a mountain without a tiger and a camp without a general after losing Pierce.

The Celtics were instantly in chaos.

This is the playoff stage.

This is a stage where every game must be fought for victory; the Bulls will not have mercy and will not give the Celtics any chance at all.

Three quarters of the game hadn't finished.

The Bulls already had a huge lead of 27 points, blowing out the game and letting the Celtics announce the end of the game early!!!
