Chapter 1: Transmigrated?

Transmigrated?

Pain, she was in so much pain!

A piercing pain radiated from her collarbone, and her waist and back felt as if they were being scorched by a raging fire; her dull, lusterless fish tail lay limply on the ground.

Chaosheng had just finished absorbing the memories in her brain when the pain from the wounds on her body made it impossible for her to straighten up; after taking a deep breath, she cursed under her breath, "Damn it!"

Her purple hair, which reached her waist, fell loosely, and her beautiful little face was crumpled in agony; she bit her lip fiercely until two bloodstains appeared on her lower lip, then she exerted all her strength to extend her right hand and open it against her chest, and a purple halo erupting from her palm instantly enveloped her.

Faint golden light spots merged bit by bit into Chaosheng's body, the two bloody holes in her collarbone shrank little by little, and the scars on her waist and back gradually disappeared.

Not until the last trace of Witch Power was exhausted did she finally heave a sigh of relief, cold sweat sliding down her temples.

In her original world, she was a reclusive Witch; just because of the claim that a Witch was a demon in disguise, she had been tied to a wooden frame, tortured with arrays, and burned to death in a great fire.

Upon waking up, she had transmigrated here—the Polar Sea, a frigid sea area with extremely harsh environments in an Ocean Beast World.

This is an Ocean Beast World where special Sea Beastmen can transform into human form; gifted Male Beastmen can awaken abilities, and the Female Beastmen who bond with them can share their partners' abilities; because females are extremely rare, one female can take multiple Beast Husbands.

The original owner was a female Mermaid from the Rainbow Sea Area; because she liked the handsome and powerful Mermaid King too much, she lied about having abilities in order to win him over.

However, the good times did not last; the Mermaid King soon discovered she had no abilities at all and punished her by banishing her from the Mermaid settlement to the Polar Sea, forbidding her from ever returning for the rest of her life.

Several females who had always been jealous of the original owner took the opportunity to retaliate, using grass whips to wound her waist and back, running chains through her collarbone, and bribing the Seal Beastmen in charge of the exile to spread rumors about the original owner's deeds and ruin her reputation.

As a result, when the original owner arrived here, no Sea Beastman was willing to accept her, and she was driven to the Ice Shore, the coldest corner of the sea area.

Her beast life fell into its darkest hour, and after tasting every kind of pain, the original owner died in torment.

But for some reason, Chaosheng had transmigrated into the original owner's body.

"Ahhh!"

"Ying!"

The roar of a Male Beastman interrupted Chaosheng's train of thought.

A huge Orca, ten meters long, was wailing in agony; appearing to be in immense pain, its constantly thrashing giant body destroyed the few plants in this small sea area, and the originally clear blue water instantly turned murky.

Fish, shrimp, and other creatures were startled and fled the area in a panic; in the blink of an eye, only the bewildered Chaosheng and the suddenly intruding, maddened Sea Beastman remained.

In the chaotic sea area, the only two intelligent beings sensed each other's presence.

Chaosheng steadied herself, her deep purple eyes clear; she thought she had to go and meet this fellow—she couldn't just let him keep causing destruction here.

The beautiful Mermaid was like an elf of the sea, her swaying fish tail tracing a graceful wave.

Swimming not far from the giant beast, Chaosheng stood on her tail and extended her right hand; a trace of purple from her fingertips quietly slipped into the Orca's body, wandering and exploring within him until it reached the Orca's Mental Sea. Black filth filled the Orca's Mental Sea, leaving no empty space, and Chaosheng's Witch Power was blocked there, unable to advance any further.

Chaosheng frowned, pondering that this must be it—the culprit making this Orca go mad.

Having found the root cause, she no longer hesitated; she controlled all the Witch Power she had just recovered to enter the Orca's Mental Sea. Upon touching the black filth, the purple Witch Power acted as if it had encountered delicious food, greedily devouring the filth until it turned dark purple. After absorbing the last trace of filth, the Witch Power twisted in satisfaction, lazily digested the filth, and drifted out to return to Chaosheng's body.

As the Witch Power returned to Chaosheng with vigorous and abundant strength, her purple eyes startled, and then she smiled as if she had realized something. Satisfied, she reached out to gently stroke the Orca's pointed, round head, her soft voice carrying a hint of enchantment, "Good, it's okay now."

The Orca, which had been wreaking havoc, finally calmed down; enjoying the fact that its Mental Sea had been cleared by the Witch Power, it lazily flicked its tail, occasionally letting out "Ying ying" sounds.

Feeling the Witch Power leave, Baini reluctantly flicked his tail and shook his head, subconsciously chasing after the departing power, but he was caught off guard by Chaosheng's gentle words, and his tail, which had been swinging freely, suddenly froze in the water.

As his hazy consciousness returned, Baini began to reflect on how he had ended up here.

He had suffered a Spiritual Sea Riot today, and to prevent his maddened self from harming the Tribe and other Beastmen, he had specifically swum here, slowly waiting for his fate—to go mad from the agitation of his heavily polluted Mental Sea and then burst and die.

But now, it seemed he had survived, and his heavily polluted Mental Sea had been cleared.

All of this was thanks to the female Mermaid before him.

A sinful female Mermaid who had been exiled here for seducing and deceiving their King.

Baini tangled his tail fin in conflict; the Beastmen of the Polar Sea were all gossiping about how vicious and shameless she was, but... but she had just saved him.

How could she be such a despicable female?

It was as if two little people were fighting in Baini's big head: one told him not to believe those rumors, and the other told him not to be deceived by the female's appearance—those things shouldn't be fake.

"If you're fine now, then go back," Chaosheng secretly stroked the big Orca's head again; it was smooth and bouncy. After the heartless Mermaid had her fill, she began to shoo the Orca away, looking very much like a total scumbag, "I remember Orcas are social animals, right? If you don't go back now, you won't be able to find your kin."

Over the past few decades, the Mental Seas of Male Beastmen have become extremely prone to pollution; the higher the ability rank of the Male Beastman, the more severely they are polluted. Once the Black Filth pollutes the entire Mental Sea, the Beastman begins to riot until death.

Baini was highly gifted; he was already Fifth Rank just after coming of age, but with that came increasingly severe pollution of his Mental Sea.

"Gurgle," a wave splashed.

The Orca slapped his tail fin in protest; he couldn't possibly get lost!

Just as he wanted to speak, his black, round eyes looked at the beautiful little Mermaid, and he became dazed before he knew it—so... so beautiful, this female...

A beauty so bewitching and dreamy it was breathtaking; her purple, glass-like eyes flowed with gentle ripples, and he fell into them without even realizing it.

Coming back to his senses, Baini shrank his head in discomfort, as if to hide or escape, but in the shadows, he honestly rubbed against Chaosheng's soft palm. A slight itch arose where the little Mermaid touched him, and his throat couldn't help but emit a happy, milky "Ying ying" howl.

Female, Mermaid, so soft, so fragrant, so beautiful.

The Orca's eyes stared straight at Chaosheng, flashing with stunning brilliance, and he let out a happy cry from his throat, "Ying ying ying!"

Chaosheng, however, withdrew her hand without mercy, her gentle voice turning slightly cold, "You should go." I need to go back and continue sleeping.

"Goodbye."

Having said that, she swam away heartlessly.

"Ying!" Baini watched the little Mermaid's back with a dejected look, but his milky, non-threatening voice couldn't make the little Mermaid turn back at all.

The newly adult Orca felt extremely aggrieved; as if to vent, he fiercely flicked his tail fin twice. His huge body stood forlornly in place until the little Mermaid's figure completely disappeared, and only then did Baini turn around in dismay and slowly swim back to his Tribe.

As he swam, he thought about how he would tell his kin that he had found a way to completely purify his Mental Sea, but he would never tell them who had helped him purify the pollution in his Mental Sea.

After all, these Beastmen had all spoken ill of her before!
