Chapter 53: A Fist Coming Straight at Him

~8 min read 1,580 words

That evening, to welcome Siano and his party, the Yixin Dojo held a grand banquet.

Nami and Nojiko, still fixated on the foods they wanted to eat, had already scampered off to the kitchen to make their requests while Zeff was preparing the ingredients.

Zeff laughed heartily and, with a generous sweep of his large hand, granted them all.

This immediately provoked a wave of dissatisfaction from two kitchen helpers who had not long since woken up.

"We're all about the same age; why do we two have to be here washing and chopping vegetables for you, while they get to make their own demands!"

Moss-head and Curly-brow set aside their past grievances and angrily united to go on strike in protest.

"Because they are honored guests, you two fools!"

Zeff rewarded them with a few solid punches, causing this lamentable and heroic strike action to end amidst screams after lasting merely one minute.

As for Siano's side.

Since he still had not seen Sister Sister Guyina or Jun'ichi by now, he couldn't help but ask Teacher Teacher Gengsilang.

Only then did he learn that after a year of bitter cultivation, Sister Sister Guyina, who already possessed extraordinary talent, had made great strides in her swordsmanship realm; full of confidence a few days ago, she had departed for Light Cherry Island to participate in this year's Kendo Tournament.

She had even declared something about vowing to take up the baton from Lord Siano and seize the championship for this edition.

As for Jun'ichi, despite his day-and-night hellish training, his progress in strength still could not match that of Sister Sister Guyina and Zoro, and he was gradually being overtaken by these two juniors who were several years younger than him.

After several days of self-interrogation, he resolved firmly upon his pain; half a year ago, he decided to set out to sea to hone himself and became a pirate hunter.

Teacher Teacher Gengsilang felt some worry about this, but Siano, beyond being surprised, felt quite appreciative.

Everyone has their own path; since he knew that training in Shimotsuki Village had limited prospects, staying behind to merely consume himself internally indeed held little meaning; daring to change roads and choosing to improve through life-and-death struggles, Jun'ichi must have already attained his own realization.

After the meal, while everyone gathered around the stove for evening conversation.

Siano copied out a manual of the Six Styles and handed it to Zeff.

Shave, Moon Walk, and Iron Body; these three techniques still had very broad applicability, and Zeff and Sister Sister Guyina could freely select the ones they favored from within to use for enhancing their comprehensive strength.

Of course, Zoro and Sanji could also practice them if they wished.

However, he would officially set out to sea in at most three years, and by that time these two little ones would not yet have grown up; whether they would follow him aboard the ship would depend entirely on whether they themselves were willing.

……

The next day at dawn.

The Orange Garden departed from Shimotsuki Village, sailing toward its final destination, the Goa Kingdom.

Siano also did not forget another important matter; during the night, he had already sheared all the wool he could.

Sister Sister Guyina's desk lamp, Zoro's headscarf, Zeff's wooden prosthetic leg, Teacher Teacher Gengsilang's newly prescribed glasses—not a single one was missed—and he even stood by Sanji's bedside to quietly leave a small vial of blood.

He was now so practiced at this affair that he could swipe things away without god or ghost noticing; from start to finish, he did not emit a single sound, and no one detected anything.

After all this hard labor, he obtained a total of 2,500 points, bringing his remaining points to 38,500.

As for whether Teacher Teacher Gengsilang and the others would suspect anything, wondering why every time you come, our dojo ends up missing this and lacking that...

That obviously would not happen.

Given the tall and upright image of his character in everyone's eyes, as long as he could keep a straight face and a steady heart, even if a pile of stolen goods were found on his person on the spot, everyone would only think it was that brat Zoro secretly causing trouble.

……

A few days later.

On a sunny and breezy afternoon, the Orange Garden entered the waters of the Goa Kingdom, and the distant Colubo Mountains were already visible in the distance.

Siano sat at the bow, accompanying Nami and Nojiko in playing cat's cradle; in his spare moments, he lifted his head to glance at the lush, verdant mountain range and frowned slightly.

For some reason.

Starting from this morning, as the distance to the destination grew shorter, he always felt a rather bad premonition in his heart.

"Scar, in the subsequent reports, was there any mention of which Vice Admiral from Headquarters was dispatched to the East Blue to suppress Buggy?" he turned his head and asked.

"Wait a moment, Boss; I'll check right now."

Scar hurriedly rummaged through a large stack of newspapers; a moment later, he lifted his head and said, "It really was mentioned; they said it's Fireburn Mountain, also a very powerful and senior Vice Admiral; with him leading the team, the Buggy Pirates should be utterly powerless to resist."

"Fireburn Mountain, huh..."

Siano breathed a sigh of relief; actually, it didn't matter who came, as long as it wasn't Garp.

He only wanted to smoothly perform another magic trick for Luffy, go quickly and return quickly, and did not wish for any other variables.

……

The outskirts of the Colubo Mountains were precisely the shopping district of the Goa Kingdom.

Public order here was good, and all kinds of goods were dazzlingly abundant; it was indeed a fine place for strolling and leisure.

Siano entrusted the professional sailors brought from the village to take his two little sisters around to play here for a few days.

He himself, along with Scar and the others, after preparing the necessary supplies, stepped into the mountain forests.

With the addition of personnel familiar with the terrain, searching for the target became obviously much faster; by the afternoon of the second day, the party had already found Luffy's tracks.

It seemed he had separated from Ace again, each entering the mountains to train; when Siano spotted him from the hilltop, the little brat was being chased into a wretched flight by three enraged giant bears, screaming all the way.

"Why are there three of them!"

Running while looking back, tears and snot streaming down his face, Luffy cried, "This is too much! I only stole your honey! Yet you called so many helpers; if you have the ability, let's have a one-on-one duel!"

"Roar!"

The giant bears said nothing, simply pursuing with all their might.

"I can't take it anymore; I'll fight you to the death!!!!" Seeing his stamina nearly exhausted, Luffy let out a great shout, suddenly grabbed two nearby trees, stretched his arms to their limit, and used the leverage to catapult himself backward, "Gum-Gum—"

"Rocket!"

Boom!

His head slammed fiercely into the forehead of the giant bear in the very center; the struck bear let out a cry of pain and toppled backward onto the ground.

But it did not faint; in merely three or four seconds, it shook its head and stood up again.

The other two giant bears had also adjusted their positions, forming a pincer attack from three sides, blocking off all escape routes, and stared menacingly down at the little brat below.

"It's over! This time it's really over!"

Luffy's legs shook like chaff in a sieve as he wailed loudly, "Waaah, Ace, where are you? Hurry and come save me..."

What an unlucky kid.

Siano had been squatting on the cliff edge watching the show; seeing this, he couldn't help but sigh, stood up, flashed once, and his figure instantly vanished from the spot.

The next moment, he had already arrived beside Luffy, looking up to glance at the three giant bears.

"Give me some face."

Siano said with a chuckle, "Since this brat was in the wrong first, I won't make a move either; you just leave voluntarily, how about that?"

Who the hell are you?

The three giant bears were bewildered for a moment, exchanged glances, then simultaneously roared, stepped forward, opened their blood-filled maws, bared their fangs, and copious drool flowed down.

As expected, if one isn't a Celestial Dragon, having 'face' doesn't work, Siano sighed melancholically; just as he was about to make a move, he suddenly noticed the three giant bears freeze in place.

Looking upward, no one knew what had gotten into these three bears; each displayed terror on their faces, suddenly let out a low growl, turned around simultaneously, and fled madly back the way they came, not daring to even look back.

Hm?

Strange... Siano watched the retreating figures of the three bears; just as he was bewildered, an irritated voice suddenly rang out from above:

"Where did this brat come from! Acting on your own to save someone, truly utterly annoying! Do you have any idea how much effort I spent driving these three bears over here!"

This voice is...

Siano was startled, instinctively turned his head, and happened to see a fist the size of a sandbag rapidly magnifying within his pupils—
