Chapter 623

Nami was a bit embarrassed; that was purely out of habit, and anyway, Luffy was a Rubber Fruit user, so she couldn't hurt him!

At this time, Sabo beside her said with a wry smile: "Rocks D. Xebec, dominated the sea more than forty years ago and was the hegemon before the era of the Pirate King Gol D. Roger. Bai Huzi, Kaido, and Xia Luote Linlin, who are among the current Yonko, were all once crew members under his command; he is also a symbol of an era!"

As the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army, he knew more about some things than others.

Nami and the others heard this and couldn't help but widen their eyes.

Three of the Yonko were once his subordinates; how strong must that pirate crew have been?!

"But, why haven't we heard of such a powerful pirate crew?" Nami asked in confusion.

Sabo smiled and continued: "It's normal; Rocks had great ambition back then and wanted to become the King of the World. On the surface, he was defeated at God Valley by the joint efforts of Pirate King Roger and Garp, and Roger and Garp also became famous in that battle!"

"But according to our Revolutionary Army's investigation over the years, Rocks' defeat back then had a lot to do with the Celestial Dragons. The World Government also intervened in that battle; I fear it was because he threatened Imu's status, and thus he was erased from the world and history."

Speaking of this, Sabo looked at the massive warship on the sea; on the warship, a man with a massive build sat on a throne, the man smiling as he looked toward the Holy Land of Mary Geoise.

This person was none other than Rocks D. Xebec, the former hegemon of the sea!

"However, it seems now that Rocks seems to have escaped a disaster back then!" Sabo said in a deep voice.

At this time, someone else exclaimed.

"Wait, is that person... Beast Kaido?!"

"And that over there seems to be Big Mom, Xia Luote Linlin!"

"And another person, it's actually Golden Lion Shiki!"

"Damn it, what is going on? Why would Rocks, who should have died, appear here."

"And have Kaido and Xia Luote Linlin returned to Rocks' command?"

Rocks' appearance undoubtedly shocked everyone present.

However, while others were shocked by Rocks' appearance, Gol D. Roger's gaze remained fixed on that massive warship.

Soon, his expression changed suddenly, and he said in surprise: "That is the long-lost Ancient Weapon Pluton; I didn't expect it to be in Rocks' hands!"

"What, Ancient Weapon Pluton?"

The others' expressions changed one after another upon hearing this.

The World Government had just used the Ancient Weapon Uranus, and now even Pluton had appeared!

This man who should have died at God Valley had actually mastered the Ancient Weapon Pluton and appeared at the Holy Land of Mary Geoise at this time with Kaido, Golden Lion, and Big Mom.

What exactly does he want to do?!

At this time, someone looked at Lin Xuan.

People who should have died appearing again felt very familiar; didn't Pirate King Gol D. Roger do just that, appearing suddenly at the Summit War, which had shocked many people at the time?

So, they suspected whether this was a backup plan arranged by Lin Xuan?

Seeing Bai Huzi and the others looking at him, Lin Xuan shook his head and said: "It has nothing to do with me!"

Lin Xuan had indeed thought about reanimating Rocks before; after all, he was quite a formidable guy, and for this reason, he had specifically investigated places where Rocks' DNA might exist.

It was that island where he had casually slapped Blackbeard to death and saved Ace; Lin Xuan had obtained Rocks' DNA there and had Orochimaru perform the Reanimation Jutsu.

However, the result was failure!

There was only one possibility for this situation: the owner of the DNA was still alive!

So, for Rocks' appearance, Lin Xuan actually didn't feel surprised at all; instead, he felt it was a matter of course.

"Sitting back and reaping the benefits; that's a good plan!" Lin Xuan sneered in his heart.

This Rocks didn't come early or late, but appeared at this time; his goal was already obvious.

Now all eight Celestial Dragon ancestors were dead, Imu had completely lost his combat power, and currently, it seemed the powerhouses of the Ninja Guild were also severely injured, with a great loss of combat power!

Then, isn't this the best time to come out and wipe everyone out, reaping the final benefits!

Since Rocks wasn't dead and had mastered the Ancient Weapon Pluton, then with his ambition, how could he let such a great opportunity pass!

Sure enough, just as the battle here had a result, the other party couldn't wait to make an appearance.

It's just a pity that this fisherman isn't so easy to play!
