Chapter 629: Pluton shattered! Rocks

The Mother Tree of Devil Fruits?

Senju Hashirama and the others were all stunned.

They hadn't been in this world for a short time, and they basically understood many things about this world.

However, this was the first time they had heard Lin Xuan's statement just now.

Let alone them, even Bai Huzi and Shanks had never heard of it before.

"Guild Leader Lin, what exactly is going on?" Bai Huzi asked.

At this time, Lin Xuan looked at Roger, who had been silent on the side, and said: "Roger, you should know what's going on, right?"

"There really is nothing that can be hidden from you!" Roger said with some helplessness.

"That's right, when I was still alive, I was always secretly exploring the secrets of this world. Later, through researching the Poneglyphs in various places, I did indeed discover some shocking truths!"

Shanks nodded; he had also noticed back then that the captain seemed to be exploring something, but he hadn't told them in detail what he was investigating.

Roger thought for a moment and began to say: "All the Devil Fruits in this world are actually born from one tree. When the fruits ripen, they automatically detach and fly to all parts of the world, then randomly parasitize other plants."

"The trees people see that grow Devil Fruits are actually just ordinary trees parasitized by Devil Fruits. And that tree that truly gives birth to Devil Fruits is the Devil Mother Tree!"

Immediately afterward, he looked at the vines coming out of the Red Line and said: "Back then, I only knew of the existence of the Devil Mother Tree, and until I died, I didn't find its whereabouts!"

Those present were all surprised upon hearing this.

Lin Xuan nodded; the message he had just received from Konan was precisely that Nico Luo Bin and the others had discovered important information about the Devil Mother Tree.

Besides what Roger said, he also learned that the Devil Mother Tree had actually always been in the hands of the World Government, and its main body was right in the Holy Land of Mary Geoise!

No, it should be said that the Holy Land of Mary Geoise was built on top of the Devil Mother Tree, and the main body of the Devil Mother Tree had actually always been hidden under the entire Red Line!

That's right, the Devil Mother Tree was huge, and this Red Line, which divided the world into two, was all its hiding place!

Even Nico Luo Bin and the others inferred that the huge vines on the Sky Island were very likely a part of the branches and leaves of the Devil Mother Tree.

Seeing such information, even Lin Xuan felt very surprised.

At the same time, Lin Xuan also inferred many things.

Why did the twenty Celestial Dragon ancestors establish the World Government back then and build the Holy Land of Mary Geoise here? Why did Imu and the others fight to the death to protect this place when they attacked the Holy Land of Mary Geoise?

That was because the core of the Devil Mother Tree was right here!

Was the establishment of the World Government just as simple as ruling this world?

No, Lin Xuan felt that the World Government was very likely established to protect the Devil Mother Tree.

He even suspected that this Devil Mother Tree possessed its own independent consciousness, and the true identity of the twenty Celestial Dragon ancestors was actually just guardians of the Devil Mother Tree!

It was precisely because of this conjecture that he had deliberately not acted when the Pluton launched its attack earlier; he wanted to see the reaction of the Devil Mother Tree.

Now, looking at the situation, everything seemed to have been guessed correctly by him!

"Boom!"

At this moment, the Ancient Weapon Pluton finally exploded completely.

As for the people who were originally on the warship, they had already fled in a panic just a moment ago.

On the sea, a huge dragon soared into the sky; it was precisely the form taken by Kaido, and beside him, Xia Luote Linlin was also soaring through the air, stepping on Prometheus.

Needless to say, Shiki the Golden Lion was naturally skilled at flying.

The members of the three major pirate crews also fled in all directions; despite this, many people still didn't have time to escape and exploded along with the Pluton!

At this moment, Rocks's complexion was so gloomy it could almost drip water.

He hadn't expected that the plan he considered absolutely perfect would eventually turn into such a situation; so many years of planning had ultimately fallen through!

What he hadn't expected even more was that what ruined all his plans was actually a few vines!

Rocks looked at the destroyed warship and was practically about to explode with rage, roaring angrily: "Go to hell, you old man!"

Immediately, he began to attack those huge vines crazily.

"Rumble!"

They saw brilliant light emitting from his hands, like a sun; this was his Devil Fruit ability. Scorching light orbs erupted from his hands, bombarding the huge vines!

However, when the light orbs landed on the vines, they disappeared directly, failing to cause any damage to the vines.

At this moment, Rocks's body trembled, and he suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood.

Afterward, he stood dazed on the spot, motionless, looking as if he had lost his soul.

"Captain Rocks, what's wrong with you?" Xia Luote Linlin called out hurriedly.

However, Rocks still had no response.

At this moment, the expressions of Kaido, Shiki, and the others changed drastically.

Something was wrong; it seemed like something had happened to Captain Rocks?!

At the same time, on the side of the Holy Land of Mary Geoise.

Imu's figure appeared before everyone again, holding the Uranus, but he looked somewhat different. ===== CHAPTER 631 =====
