Chapter 1029: Terracotta Soldiers

Su Sheng looked at the figure appearing ahead, a bit surprised, yet it seemed within reason.

It was a dense mass of puppet mechanism people!

All were humanoid puppets, and they seemed to be in army scale.

The frontmost batch of puppets were all sword‑shield warriors; the Second Tier were a batch of dual‑staff puppets, and there were offsets in the middle, looking like one could attack the targets in front of the sword‑shield warriors directly through those offset gaps.

Then the third row was a batch of Mage puppets wielding staffs, and the fourth row was a batch of archers.

Four rows at once!

They blocked the entire passage solidly.

At a glance, the number was close to a thousand.

Su Sheng squinted, observed, and found those puppets were somewhat similar to the earlier boss; their movement was all sliding through the gaps below.

He glanced back; the main force was still a bit far, and Su Sheng did not hesitate, directly controlling the mythical lion and rushed forward.

First test the waters, see the situation!

As Su Sheng approached, the opposing puppet formation actually stopped.

Immediately those sword‑shield warriors raised their shields, and then Su Sheng saw a dark shadow descend over his head.

It was an arrow!

Swoosh swoosh swoosh~

Su Sheng narrowed his eyes, this really is a team fight.

Shield Raise! Block!!

Puff puff~

In an instant, about a dozen damage ticks leapt off Su Sheng's body.

Each strike dealt only a little over 3,000 damage, but it was a barrage! This round took away more than 30,000 of Su Sheng's HP, close to 40,000.

And many of them missed!

Otherwise, Su Sheng could have been outright killed in one hit.

Su Sheng couldn't help baring his teeth in a grimace!

However, before he could catch his breath, a flash of fire illuminated the area ahead.

Su Sheng looked up, a Fireball descended!

Su Sheng couldn't help feeling frustrated—it was those puppet Mages!

Boom boom!!

…

This round of Focus Fire again took away about 40,000 of Su Sheng's HP.

Even though Su Sheng possessed a lion's physique, with magical and physical defense equal.

A single encounter nearly cut his HP in half.

And the passage was that wide.

Their attack coverage alone was enough to blanket the entire passage.

Even if Su Sheng tried to dodge, there was no space to evade.

He couldn't handle it alone!

Su Sheng naturally felt no other emotion; after all, this was a team Dungeon.

Then Su Sheng immediately began to retreat, widening the distance!

At the same time, Su Sheng checked the combat information!

Ruins Terracotta Soldier. Mage

Ruins Terracotta Soldier. Archer

???

Tsk!

Although the other two troop types did not appear in the combat info, they must be similar templates.

Su Sheng withdrew while reporting the situation in the Team Channel.

As Su Sheng retreated, those Terracotta Soldiers again moved in unison, sliding along the fissures on the ground!

Su Sheng was roughly clear; given the situation, it could only be a team showdown!

As Su Sheng fell back, the Terracotta Soldier legion advanced, and behind them the Yanhuang Thousand-Person Squad, having adjusted their formation according to Su Sheng's feedback under Zhang Zhi's direction, also approached slowly!

Soon, both sides closed to a certain distance!

At this moment, Su Sheng also retreated into the priest's healing range; the healing technique fell, pulling Su Sheng's HP back up.

Charge!

At this moment, Zhang Zhi issued an order over the Command Channel!

Thud thud thud thud~

A burst of horse hooves sounded in the distance, and figures rushed over from the far end of the alley!

At the same time, on the Flame Yellow formation side, all players turned sideways in perfect order, clearing a path!

Swish swish~

Afterward, the figures charging from behind rushed straight through the cleared path!

This turned out to be the War Knight players on the Flame Yellow side!

Because the War Knight's main burst is a charge!

So, after learning of the situation here.

Zhang Zhi directly ordered the War Knights to standby in the rear!

When the distance between both sides was about right, they charged over!

Only with sufficient charge distance to gain a speed bonus can the War Knights' maximum damage be fully unleashed!

Nightcoming Big Bear and Weiwen Huaming, both mounted, led the vanguard!

Seeing the War Knights charge over, Su Sheng also grinned!

At this point, his HP was already full!

Su Sheng slapped the head of the beast he was riding!

The beast turned around directly!

Then Su Sheng charged again!

This time, Su Sheng became the one leading the charge!

Kill!!!

In the midst of the charge, they looked ahead at their own chairman!

Nightcoming Big Bear suddenly felt a surge of heroic spirit! He waved the great hammer in his hand and let out a roar!

Although fewer than a hundred War Knights followed behind, this charge in the narrow passage was still mighty!

Isn't this the moment War Knight players live for?!

With Nightcoming Big Bear's chuunibyou soul bursting forth, the Flame Yellow War Knights behind also roared in unison!

Kill!

Kill!

Kill!

Su Sheng couldn't help but feel speechless!

What's the point of all this passion?!

Su Sheng turned his head and saw that even the usually aloof Wenwen Huaming had started shouting!

Forget it!

Never mind!

Su Sheng also raised his spear: 'Kill!!'

Swish swish!

At this moment, a volley of arrows rained down like a blanket!

And behind the arrows were clusters of fireballs!

Su Sheng raised his shield!

Thud thud~

This time, Su Sheng didn't take too much damage!

Because this time the enemy had many targets, they couldn't focus fire on Su Sheng.

These guys' attack power is high!

But they couldn't instantly kill the War Knights in mounted state!

War Knights with mount HP bonuses might not be very tough; in terms of taking damage, they can't compare to professional guard knights!

But with heavy armor, they're definitely meaty!

And that's it for this round!

The distance between both sides, combined with the War Knights' charge speed!

Before the enemy's second wave of attacks landed, they had already charged right in front of them!

Thud thud~

Damage numbers popped up one by one from the heads of the blade-shield puppets in the front!

Each one wasn't low!

The War Knights' speed bonus burst forth!

As for Su Sheng, although he had no speed bonus, his base stats still let his damage explode!

But the front-line blade-shield puppets never died!

Next, a spear enlarged before everyone's eyes!

That was a spear puppet behind the blade puppet!

At the same time, the blade-shield puppet released its shield and slashed down with its long sword!
