Chapter 541: The Dead Knight

Boom~

After the gray aura washed over Wu Di, it slammed onto the ground and immediately spread outward.

Unnoticed, the gray aura directly covered the entire bandit camp.

Ding~

Combat notice: Entered death aura contamination zone.

Health drains by 1% per second.

The whole bandit camp was covered by this gray death aura.

All Yanhuang members were infected by the death aura.

Fortunately, a 1% per second health drain was still bearable.

But…

The Priest Guild had just over a thousand members.

With so many Yanhuang players present, the priests certainly couldn't keep up.

Therefore, the personnel had to be reduced.

Su Sheng felt helpless; the comrades hadn't even started the battle, and already had to cut numbers.

"There are too many people; if everyone stays here, the Priest Guild can't heal them all! We must streamline the personnel!"

"Leave the Hidden Dragon Third Squad and the Priest Guild; Kong Lang selects some Assassin Guild members to support, while the others withdraw outside the camp first."

"Keep as many Mages and archers as possible!"

"Those who withdraw should be ready to support at any time."

Su Sheng immediately issued the command in the Guild Channel, specifically retaining damage dealers, since he intended to take the frontline for damage mitigation himself.

If Su Sheng can't hold on, then this time they'll have to retreat home.

However, according to the quest description, if Yanhuang retreats, these monsters are expected to attack the stronghold… though only one boss remains at this point.

Whoosh~

Immediately, most players withdrew beyond the camp's bounds, awaiting further orders.

Seeing only about four thousand remaining in the arena, Su Sheng couldn't help feeling depressed.

He had even said this boss was hard to handle, deliberately pulling all Yanhuang members in.

But before the fight even began, the boss immediately pulled this move.

As the Yanhuang members withdrew, under the wash of gray death aura, the entire bandit camp began to change dramatically.

The surrounding objects started rapidly aging.

Those corpses shed all flesh, becoming eerie white bones, and Wu Di's own flesh began to peel away.

The grating sound of laughter grew heavier, and the voice became increasingly strange.

The bandit camp, originally suffused with pure prison wind, turned into pure prison wind… only one is a prison, the other a hell.

Clack clack clack~

Finally, the gray death aura overhead had completely washed over Wu Di, and the gray death aura fully permeated the entire bandit camp.

"Clack clack clack~"

Wu Di, once a robust man, turned into a completely skeletal frame.

A fully armored skeleton frame is still a skeleton!

Its faceless, fleshless visage had hollow eye sockets flickering with two clusters of red ghost fire; its mouth opened and closed a few times, producing the sound of bone striking.

Strangely, everyone present somehow understood Wu Di's meaning.

"Ha ha, it's done, I'm done, I'm immortal!"

Those were Wu Di's words.

Immortal?

Su Sheng looked at the skeletal frame and wondered if, when he became this skeleton, he had already died.

Now Wu Di is merely a conscious skeleton.

Heh heh heh~

"Thank you all for witnessing my rebirth."

"To celebrate my rebirth, I have decided to grant you death!"

"You will be the first offering to the Undead Lord after my rebirth."

At that moment, Wu Di's gaze drifted toward Su Sheng and the Yanhuang crowd.

"Priest, reapply the buff!"

"Spawn the monster!"

Su Sheng flipped onto his horse and charged forward,

This time, Wu Zhaodi did not overexert herself.

Anyone with common sense knows the second boss is definitely stronger than the first.

The previous bandit leader was already near Wu Zhaodi's limit.

And as Su Sheng charged,

the boss also made a new move.

"Minions, lead the horses!"

Clatter~

The white bones nearest the boss began to slowly converge.

Gurururu~

In just a second or two, a gigantic skeletal warhorse solidified before the BOSS.

Then the BOSS flipped onto the mount; although it's just a bone frame, it's surprisingly agile.

Taunt!

-1

At this distance, Su Sheng can already trigger Taunt.

Undead Knight. Wu Di (Commander-level Boss)

Level: 60

HP:??

Attack:??

Defense:??

??

??

Description: Formerly a legion commander of the empire, he turned to the undead after praying for immortality; now his wish is fulfilled, becoming an Undead Knight.

Undead Knight? Death Knight? A dead knight…

However, the facts prove Su Sheng's guess was correct…

Level 60! Commander Rank!

"Offensive fellow!"

The BOSS's two groups of ghost fire softly locked onto Su Sheng.

A skeletal hand grasped out of thin air.

A skeletal spear instantly solidified in the BOSS's hand.

Swish~

The spear pierces the air.

Shield Raise!

Falling Demon Body!

Su Sheng intentionally tests the BOSS's attack strength.

Boom!

Su Sheng's whole body trembles.

-11082!

Just a normal attack, only over ten thousand?

Su Sheng is startled!

But he can still endure!

Su Sheng, now in Mounted State, has reached 60,000 HP!

Can withstand five normal attacks!

Behind him, more than a thousand members of the Priest Guild, almost half of them are eyeing Su Sheng's HP.

However, the Priest Guild's techniques vary; many Healing Techniques are wasted because of Su Sheng's Falling Demon Body.

Nevertheless, in this situation, even if Healing Techniques are wasted, Su Sheng's HP must still be guaranteed.

Only Su Sheng can hold it.

"You've got some skill!"

The boss's gritty heavy-metal sound echoed.

Wields the spear again!

Su Sheng also thrust a spear!

Lion's Fang!

-7997

The 2.4× Lion's Fang only dealt just over seven thousand, not even eight thousand damage.

Su Sheng feels a sourness in his teeth; this thing's defense is ridiculously high.

Don't forget, Demon God Lightning also has 30% Armor Break.

Lion's Claw!

-12332

This thrust actually broke ten thousand.

+60000

Regenerates 60,000 HP per second; Commander-level Boss regenerates 1.5% per second.

That means this BOSS has four million HP.

"Hate stabilized, output!"

After Su Sheng landed a Deadly Lion Fang, he called out.

Rend, somehow didn't trigger.

Thinking about it seems reasonable; it's just a bone frame, no flesh, how could Rend cause bleeding?

Boom~

Phoenix Flame!

However, Li Wenwan's Phoenix Flame is, as always, powerful!

Just…

Huan Jie also has no way to suppress the BOSS's healing; although elemental damage has abnormal status, it still cannot suppress the BOSS's healing.

"Jie jie jie~"

"Enjoy death!"

The skeletal warhorse suddenly charged at Su Sheng, at a breakneck speed.

Su Sheng did react, but since he was also in Mounted State, his evasion wasn't that agile.

Seeing this, it was clear a skill had been activated.

It's not a Berserk or Health Axis skill! Just an ordinary minor skill!

Fireworks Blessing!

Falling Demon Body!

Facing a BOSS like this, Su Sheng dared not be even slightly careless.

Boom!

Su Sheng, both rider and horse, lost balance outright.

-31788

However, the Fireworks Blessing shield deducted nearly twenty thousand.

One charge, thirty thousand health!

That is Su Sheng; even if Wu Zhaodi came, they could still be killed instantly!

Su Sheng's current defense, combined with Falling Demon Body, is over 7,000.

But Su Sheng's reaction was also swift.

The moment he lost balance, Shield Rush!

Mounted State, charge with Dominant Body! Balance loss negated!

Swish~

Boom!

To come without returning is impolite.

Su Sheng also gave the BOSS a charge!
