Chapter 678: Returning to Top Rank!

All Yingjiang Nation players present were cleared out, though players from other servers also suffered some losses.

But it's fine, no major harm done.

Priest players were basically unaffected.

As long as the main force of priests remains and Su Sheng can hold out, we can defeat this boss.

However, after this disturbance, the boss's HP recovered to forty-one percent.

"Really, those troublemaking Yingjiang Nation players!"

"Yeah, if they hadn't suddenly caused trouble, we'd have almost finished this."

"It's just infuriating; for their own benefit they'd harm ours!"

The remaining players all complained about the actions of the Cherry Sauce Nation.

Their hand movements were not slow at all; they all swiftly acted against the boss!

Ding~

Battlefield announcement: All players take note, the fourth round Year Beast Boss has respawned…

Just then, the fourth wave respawn announcement appeared.

"Damn! It's so close!"

"Hit! Quickly finish this boss, there's another one nearby!"

"Hmph, it's all because of those damn Yingjiang players!"

"Come on!"

Su Sheng glanced over when he had a moment, and indeed there was a boss respawned next door.

It's about a three- to four-minute journey.

Tsk…

Su Sheng felt somewhat emotional; he hadn't touched a single one of the first two waves of bosses.

After being killed by a Sovereign-rank Year Beast Boss, they've come one after another.

Gradually, some players came over here; logically, the nearby players besides those present have mostly been wiped out.

Those who just rushed over should have just revived nearby.

However, this time everyone is very coordinated!

Players from other servers just show up; everyone's focused on fighting the boss with no time to care, although it's unpleasant to have an extra person share the spoils, right now this Commander-rank Year Beast Boss is already in its final stage, so even if newcomers get a share, they'd get almost nothing.

But if any Yingjiang Nation players come over, they'll almost instantly be focus-fired and killed!

Thus, although the field originally had only three or four thousand people, it gradually gathered to over five thousand, yet not a single Yingjiang Nation player remained.

Newcomers who just joined also wondered why they should focus-fire and kill Yingjiang Nation players, but after some showy players spread the word by word of mouth, the newcomers also joined the ranks clearing out Yingjiang Nation players.

"Quickly finish this boss and move on to the next; as long as the neighboring boss isn't Lord-rank or Sovereign-rank, we're destined to take it down!"

Su Sheng checked his contribution: twenty-seven percent!

It stopped growing and, as more players joined, began to trend downward.

Looking at second place, it should be the Judgment Angel, with a contribution of twenty-one percent.

The boss has no HP left!

"Year!"

Approximately eighteen minutes after the fourth wave boss respawned, this Commander-rank Year Beast Boss finally had its HP emptied!

Furthermore, Su Sheng's luck was good—he triggered the Rend effect repeatedly, suppressing healing, and combined with the Magic Snake's deadly poison that provides 100% healing suppression.

Ding~

Congratulations to the player for slaying the Commander-rank Year Beast Boss.

Contribution share: 26.7%.

Earned point reward: 26,700!

32,700

This is Su Sheng's current points!

Returning to Top Rank again, this time it's an absolute, gaping first place!

During the earlier chaos, Su Sheng happened to casually slap to death a panicked Yingjiang Nation player who had lost his way.

First on the points leaderboard! Directly breaking thirty thousand!

Second should be the Judgment Angel, with over twenty-five thousand points.

"Go go go go, hurry up and set off, next boss!"

"Right right, we maintain the status quo, hurry over, we don't know how many people are there!"

"Charge!"

Perhaps it's because they united against the Yingjiang Nation players, and also because there's another boss waiting nearby; after finishing this boss this time, those people on the field didn't erupt into the previous massive brawl.

Su Sheng also didn't hesitate—earning points is no fool's errand.

He directly mounted his horse and set off toward another boss.

Whoosh~

A force of nearly five to six thousand people, in this Year Beast battlefield, was unusually harmonious, marching in neat unison toward the position of that other boss.

…

…

"What the heck?!"

"You guys quickly look at the rankings!"

On the other side, the group mainly consisting of Yingjiang Nation players that had taken down a Commander Rank Year Beast Boss shouted in shock.

"Thirty thousand! Twenty thousand?!"

"How did they manage that? Could it be they defeated a Lord Rank boss?"

"Lord Rank is impossible! Lord Rank is worth 10 million points, and that one just now was a Lord Rank—do you think players at this stage can beat it?"

"The fourth round Year Beast Boss refreshed; at a coordinate location about six or seven minutes away from them, a Year Beast boss spawned, and they eagerly rushed over."

"But when they arrived and looked, it was a Lord Rank boss!"

"Having just taken down a Commander Rank Year Beast boss, their morale was high, and they then wanted to try their hand at a Lord Rank Year Beast Boss."

"Then they were given a harsh lesson; this miserable bunch was now moving toward another, more distant boss location."

"\"That's a Commander Rank, with one person contributing over twenty percent—how did they manage that? \""

"Although they also managed to take down a Commander Rank boss, casualties were countless, and furthermore each person's contribution wasn't particularly high."

"Moreover, they fought for nearly three hours before defeating it, with people constantly arriving and being killed, resulting in the survivors' contributions being only a few tenths of a percent, not even 1%."

"Even so, they were already quite satisfied, but then suddenly a guy with twenty to thirty thousand points appeared."

"Instantly, they all felt a sense of helplessness."

"How can we still chase after that?"

"\"No matter what, even if we can't get the Leader position, earning more points is still good—let's keep going. \""

"Thus, this group finally regained their spirits and continued onward."

"Meanwhile, on Su Sheng's side, when a group arrived at the other side, they couldn't help but feel somewhat disappointed,"

"it was merely an Elite Boss."

"On the field, there were only a few hundred people."

"After all, there were few players nearby to begin with, and those who revived were diverted elsewhere, resulting in only a few hundred people barely holding their own against this Elite Boss around it."

"\"An Elite Boss is better than nothing—let's get to work! \""

"\"Kill! First clear out the Yingjiang Nation players! \""

"Whoosh~"

"A group of players, a dark mass, charged over,"

"while those originally surrounding the boss, a few hundred players, couldn't help but stare."

This is just an elite boss; with over a hundred of them, they can take it down given some time.

Initially they were glad that there were so few people, meaning they could earn more points.

Now, with four or five thousand players swarming in, it dealt them a heavy blow…
