Ten Thousand Times has reached its first anniversary!

《Ten Thousand Times》 has been serialised for one year!

From March 24, 2022, when the first chapter was uploaded, until now exactly one year has passed, a total of 427 ten-thousand characters, 1886 chapters, averaging over 11600 characters per day, more than 5 chapters worth of updates!

This is also because after releasing the new book 《Chaos Body》 in December, the dual serialization caused a slowdown; otherwise, there should already be over 2200 chapters, with over 5 million characters!

This year I've experienced quite a lot, unemployment, COVID-19 and such; I'm fortunate that my physical and mental condition are still okay, I stubbornly survived, and also unlocked the small achievement of 365 days of uninterrupted serialization.

Although I also occasionally take leave to rest, even when resting, I usually still write at least 1-2 chapters, so that readers have something to read every day and are not disappointed when opening the app.

Looking back on this year's experience, I now have many feelings.

When I first started writing 《Ten Thousand Times》, I didn't think much; mainly after 《Primitive Person》 ended, I had no inspiration for a month, I wrote over 40 beginnings, none of which were readable, and instead it made my Dao heart collapse, unable to write anything.

At that time I found a job and went to work at a game company.

When participating in the formulation of the game framework, I suddenly had the idea to write down my own ideas that had not been adopted. So I created a folder named 《Online Game》 in the typing software, and listed many setting-oriented things.

After a little organization, inserting a protagonist, 《Online Game: I Have Ten Thousand Times Amplification》 was born!

Very miraculous.

This book is practically my lifeline; the previous month's forty beginnings' frustration and depression all disappeared; I didn't need to think about what plot to arrange next, typing and updating flowed smoothly, doing five updates a day was as simple as eating and drinking; at 7 o'clock I got off work, ate a meal, typed away with huffing and puffing, finished by 12, then I proofread the manuscript, uploaded to the backend, set it to update the next morning around 7, with no pressure at all.

This state continued for over a month.

After over a month, that is, starting May 1, I increased to seven updates per day.

Mainly because…… I became unemployed!

This feeling is awful, but it's also useless, so I can only vent by typing.

I never expected that this venting would last six months!

No way, I can't find a job!

Like me, a useless dog, aside from typing I can't do anything; creativity is unwanted, copy is looked down upon, and even pondering a new way to play draws mockery: "If there's a mature framework to copy, why innovate?"

Alright, this line of work isn't for me; I'll just write novels full-time!

Starting May 2022, I went full-time, updating 485,380 characters!

June: 467,648 characters!

July: 472,264 characters!

August: 470,246 characters!

September: 452,143 characters!

October: 431,021 characters!

Just these six months, my update volume reached an astonishing 2,778,702 characters, more than others manage in a whole year!

The result is easy to imagine.

Actually not, I went to write a new book.

In December I uploaded 《Chaos Body》, starting simultaneous updates of both books, together totaling 473,407 characters.

January both books totaled 450,786 characters; February time was relatively short, plus a creative bottleneck, both books together only updated 371,387 characters.

The reason for starting a new book midway is mainly because while desperately writing, I still owed several ten thousand in debt, even scrimping and saving wasn't enough, so I had to find ways to make money.

We don't dare commit illegal crimes, nor are we that unscrupulous; the website gave an opportunity, so we naturally need to seize it well.

The final result is not bad; with everyone's support and the website's policies, 《Chaos Body》 won two awards from Brain Hole Planet, finally escaping the sea of suffering.

Next, 《Chaos Body》 will be concluding; I plan to use the speed of three updates per day for the single book 《Ten Thousand Times》 as a pressure-relief buffer, to let myself relax for a while, then gradually increase the speed again.

The peak of seven updates may or may not return; I dare not promise here. Because over this past year, daily high-intensity typing of 6-8 hours has made my hands and lower back extremely fragile, mental pressure is also huge, I feel utterly exhausted, longing for a thorough, satisfying rest.

Of course, stopping updates is impossible, not in this lifetime! Unless the backend explodes, or unless I can't even lift my hands, I will continue serializing until completion!

《Ten Thousand Times》's plot progress is only about two-thirds; the game world hasn't been fully explored yet, afterwards there are still stories of the real world and high-dimensional universe to tell, so it won't end so soon.

I'm not a gifted writer; before typing I must first rehearse in my mind, so my writing speed is far behind other authors.

But I have passion! I have conviction!

After hitting walls in other industries, it is this industry that accepted me, earning everyone's recognition.

This is the greatest motivation for a creator!

With this motivation, even if 《Ten Thousand Times》's earnings are far less than 《Chaos Body》, I will wholeheartedly finish it, not betraying my original intention, not letting down everyone's expectations!
