After writing 431 articles, he dreamed of himself turning into a beautiful butterfly…

______A branch of red apricot protruding from the wall (Five)

Shakespeare once said such a sentence: "The essence of a dream is itself a shadow." A life without dreams is how bleak, how empty……

People's pursuits differ, therefore the content of this dream also differs. In life, the time when one dreams most is during one's youthful school days.

At that time, dreams were not only numerous, but also beautiful. Therefore, beautiful dreams are often those made in youth.

Of course, there are also people who still have beautiful dreams in old age. For example, Zhuangzi dreamed in his old age of himself turning into a beautiful butterfly. And Kongzi, who was a contemporary of Zhuangzi, was quite different from him.

Young Kongzi, like ordinary people, liked to have beautiful dreams. He often brought along a group of like-minded students, wandering in distress, advocating: "For a ruler, stop at benevolence; for a minister, stop at respect; for a child, stop at filial piety; for a father, stop at kindness; in dealings with compatriots, stop at trustworthiness—(As a ruler, his words and deeds should achieve benevolent governance; as a minister, his words and deeds should be respectful; as a child, his words and deeds should conform to filial duty; as a parent, his words and deeds should show kindness; in interactions with others, one should keep faith.)

But when he grew old, that enthusiasm gradually waned. And as the enthusiasm in his heart waned, the dreams of his youth also decreased. Once, Kongzi sighed to his students: "Alas, I have grown old! For a long time I have not dreamed of the Duke of Zhou!" (As the saying goes: Kongzi said: "Alas, I am declining! I no longer dream of the Duke of Zhou." Analects, Chapter Shu Er VII).

From Kongzi's sigh to his students, we can infer that Kongzi often dreamed, and the content of his dreams was mainly the Duke of Zhou.

Some say that a true dream expresses one's innermost secrets without social function. If we use this standard to measure, then Kongzi's dream is not a true dream.

But these are not "true dreams," nor are they something we ordinary people can achieve. And to have those dreams of flowers under the moon, holding hands and gazing tearfully, speechless with sobbing, not being true dreams—are they not too humble, too petty?

Think about it, still Kongzi's untrue dream is grand.

Among Kongzi's three thousand disciples and seventy-two worthies, there was a student named Zaiyu. When Kongzi was lecturing, he often slept in broad daylight. Kongzi was diligent all his life, most detesting laziness. Kongzi, facing his students, criticized Zaiyu: "Rotten wood cannot be carved (into utensils); a wall of filthy soil cannot be plastered. For such a lazy person as Zaiyu, what words can I still use to blame him?" (Original words: Zaiyu napped. Kongzi said: "Rotten wood cannot be carved; a wall of filth cannot be plastered. What blame can there be for me?")

Laziness, lack of progress—Kongzi said such a person is rotten wood that cannot be carved! A lazy person, even if he dreams all his life, that dream is empty.

Thus, one who has his own aspirations must still strive. My friend Zhong Wei Yun, an ordinary, genuine old farmer, to realize that youthful dream of his which is not a "true dream," experiencing all the sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy flavors of life, he was diligent, he strove, he struggled, he fought, and he also succeeded __________

Famous linguist Zhang Zhi Gong, after reviewing his manuscript of 《Chinese Punctuation Research》, wrote a letter to Zhong Wei Yun saying: "Zhong Wei Yun comrade, for exploring and researching the usage of punctuation marks, you have put in great effort, with many original insights, worthy of praise…. Your research results have opened a good start for this project and laid a good foundation…. "

Lin Suifang, editor at People's Publishing House, after reading Zhong Wei Yun's about about 《Punctuation Symbols Research》, also highly affirmed and praised his research achievements, saying: 《Chinese Punctuation Research》 enables me to fully obtain Mr.'s abundant achievements, from which I benefit, deeply grateful…..

Huang Chengsui, editor of the Language and Literature Room at People's Education Publishing House, after reading 《Chinese Punctuation Research》, in a letter to Zhong Wei Yun said: 《Chinese Punctuation Research》 is a collection of your achievements in Chinese punctuation research, among which there are many original insights, admirable and congratulatory! Your great work will be of great help to primary and secondary education and to the standardization of punctuation use in society…..
