That lonely girl's tears
February 12: That lonely girl's tears
Cao Xueqin said: Daiyu came to this world to 'return tears'.
Cao Xueqin's words evoke feeling and bewilderment.
According to Cao Xueqin, that beautiful life, before birth, her tragic ending had already been decided: her tears seemed like the incessant lewd rain, flowing from spring to summer, from summer to winter; in Daguanyuan, cold dew and chilly wind, falling red rain, plus the laughter and chatter of the idle rich youths and gifted beauties, all seemed to stir her reverie, drawing out her boundless sorrow, causing the tears of this sentimental, lonely girl to flow endlessly outward, weeping 'The flower's soul specks are emotionless; the bird's foolish dream—where could it be startled?'

Not seeing crying, how can one temper one's will? Not seeing outsiders, how can one grow up**?
Therefore, when walking that thorn‑covered path, you must still move forward without hesitation.
Traveler, must you walk?
Yes, I must go! Leave time, to seek my own space! That space in the dream!
If you let me abandon my dream, only like a bird, breaking its wings striving to fly.
Who said these words? Is this what Daiyu said?
No, this is..........
