March 12: Cherish that beauty of yours

The moon hangs quietly in the sky; the river water gently flows toward the distance.: 'My courtyard's young grass sprouts, the boundless heaven and earth about to turn green'; in the distance, in that ancient pond, there seems to be a faint frog croak.

Spring color is quietly extending across the vast and boundless heaven and earth……………

Spring, I am searching for what I cannot obtain; spring, I am searching for what I want to obtain. Night has come, I want to open the door of spring, spring, why are you silent?

The silent spring, I fear losing you, losing your beauty, just as I fear losing my own fleeting youth and life. But, I again do not know how to cherish you, to keep you. Cherish your beauty, keep your youth. Is it like a flower? Display your beauty before the world, so that people may love it; but I again worry that the flower will wither, and those who love flowers and love beauty will become disheartened and destitute.

The days of spring fly by like falling blossoms. 'The undertaking of fruit is noble,' but who can know whether that fruit is bitter or sweet? 'The undertaking of flowers is sweet,' but that sweetness 'can further withstand several wind and rain'? 'But let me undertake the work of leaves, for leaves are humble.' How puzzling this is, could it be that flowers are not humble? Is fruit arrogant?

So many questions, so bewildering ―――― 'Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have its own worries; one day's difficulty is enough for that day.'
