Chapter 887: , That Water Curtain Cave

Shouting wildly outside the mountain gate, the demon exclaimed in surprise: 'Just now Sun Wukong, I caught him, so where did another Sun Wukong come from?'

The hairy monkey said: 'Demon, the one you just caught is the second elder of Huaguo Shan; I am the second elder of Huaguo Shan. I heard that the second elder had been caught by you, so I came from Huaguo Shan to rescue the second elder.'

The demon laughed and said: 'These brothers from Huaguo Shan are really righteous.'

Sun Wukong said: 'Demon, you don't know that the brothers on Huaguo Shan are not like you demons of Pingdingshan. You all day only know how to commit evil. Those monkey brothers on Huaguo Shan, up on Huaguo Shan, have a great time playing.'

Upon hearing Sun Wukong say that they have fun on Huaguo Shan, the second demon's spirits lifted. He laughed and asked Sun Wukong: 'Monkey head, can your Huaguo Shan still be more fun than our Pingdingshan?'

Sun Wukong said: 'Outside the mountains there are more mountains, outside the towers more towers—how can you not know this simple truth? Besides the beautiful scenery of your Pingdingshan, are there no other mountains in the world? Let me tell you, the Huaguo Shan we live on beside the Eastern Sea has flowers and fruits; moreover, there is the Water Curtain Cave.'

The second demons said: 'Monkey head, I have long heard that your Huaguo Shan has a Water Curtain Cave. What kind of cave is it?'

Sun Wukong said: 'Demon, do you want to hear it?'

The second demon said: 'Not only do I want to hear it, I also want to go to Huaguo Shan for tourism and sightseeing.'

Sun Wukong said: 'This is easy; first release my master and fellow disciples. I will take you to Huaguo Shan and show you enough.'

The second demon said: 'Releasing your master and fellow disciples is also easy. First, tell me about the Number One Cave on Huaguo Shan, to see if it can arouse my interest in tourism and sightseeing.'

Sun Wukong said: 'What you say is also true. That Huaguo Shan beside the Eastern Sea, close to the Eastern Sea, has extraordinarily beautiful scenery. We monkey brothers, wandering and leaping on the mountain all day, when hungry eat wild fruits on the slopes; when thirsty drink clear springs from the mountain streams. We monkey brothers enjoy ourselves immensely all day. On that Huaguo Shan beside the Eastern Sea, the mountain streams have clear springs, the slopes have mountain flowers and wild fruits. We gather mountain flowers, seek wild fruits, drink mountain springs, frolic and play, immensely happy. Indeed, in the mountains there are no cyclical years, cold and heat unknown. In the mountains there is a stream; follow that stream upward, and at its source you will see a flying spring waterfall. That flying spring waterfall, though not as grand as Mount Lu's majestic momentum, still possesses its own distinctive beauty. The sea breeze blows incessantly, the river moon shines as before. That waterfall, like a curtain like a drape, hangs in the deep green mountains beside the Eastern Sea, its tail connecting to the great sea's waves, meeting the emerald heights, like clouds like jade, as if entering a fairyland. By the streamside are lush forests and bamboo, mixed trees bearing flowers............'
