Chapter 2836: Eight more, seeking monthly tickets
Eight more, seeking monthly tickets
When I first outlined the plot, I had a vague idea of this segment; therefore the mysterious family of the Alps appeared, and all of this was to lay the groundwork for today's chapter.
In the original plot, Zheng Lao Ban was supposed to conquer tumors, with a statue standing at the entrance of the World Health Organization; this was also another climax mentioned earlier.
But after thinking about it, I decided against it.
It's meticulous and logical, every part traceable to its source, now forced to this degree. Actually, the statue subplot is just a gratifying point, not closely related to the final conclusion.
This is a war, already described through the dialogue between Zheng Lao Ban and Xiao Shitou. The common enemy is disease, one after another, seemingly endless. Having defeated diphtheria and tuberculosis, then tuberculosis gave way to cholera, plague, AIDS, and recently pneumonia.
Recently I saw news of bat soup, bat sashimi, and pictures… I originally imagined bats like those in Twilight, but they turned out otherwise. Then I deleted a lot of the pre‑set outlines for this section.
Just one look would give me nightmares, let alone writing it.
This year has been harsh, from the twelfth update on the thirtieth to massive outline revisions, returning to work on the second day of the lunar new year.
Many plots were cut; I just briefly wrote about white‑nose syndrome, though originally there was to be a major storyline here. Bats have their own natural enemies and diseases; massive die‑offs mean that, due to genetic selection favored by fate, their numbers have always remained limited.
Please forgive me, sirs; whenever I write this point I recall an unpleasant image.
In the original setting, Zheng Lao Ban discovered a self‑repairing gene segment in the Bruhl Family's genes, originating from a bat evolution millions of years ago. The story's cause stems from Thus term: Thus term: Kelisidian's white nose. For these reasons, this is not a sci‑fi work, and after adding those unpleasant elements… I revised it to its current form. Time is pressing; making changes at the last minute is rushed, so I apologize again.
I'll explain using the dialogue between Zheng Lao Ban and Yun Ge'er; other aspects won't be covered.
I think we should show more reverence; that's all I'll ramble on about.
It's month‑end; I sincerely ask for monthly tickets.
No double rewards at month‑end, but you can still vote~~~ pat pat, I love you.
Shout loudly:
Ask for a heart, ask for monthly tickets!
Ask for a heart, ask for monthly tickets!!
Ask for a heart, ask for monthly tickets!!!
Wish everyone health and smooth sailing; may this epidemic pass soon, a deep bow~~~
