Chapter 198: Thrilling

Su Xiao had never been here, but he had some understanding of the Equipment Strengthening Hall.

Here, by paying Paradise Coins, one could strengthen equipment. However, the cost of strengthening was high, and contractors would never strengthen equipment before selling it, except for the equipment they used themselves.

Walking into the Equipment Strengthening Hall, what came into view was a vast hall with an area of about several thousand square meters. The hall was magnificent and bright. Machines were placed along the walls, and these machines were embedded in the walls.

There were quite a few contractors in the Equipment Strengthening Hall. Most of them were staring at the machines in front of them, their expressions tense, their foreheads full of hot sweat.

Su Xiao walked to a machine. This thing looked somewhat like a vending machine magnified several times, but it was much more precise, and there were no buttons or the like. The operation panel was a display screen.

【Welcome to use Equipment Strengthening Machine No. 1876.】

【Starting to check strengthening records. Strengthening record is empty.】

【Starting to explain matters related to equipment strengthening.】

【Strengthening equipment is a form of amplification for equipment. The improvement effect is determined based on the equipment's own effect.】

After reading a bunch of equipment strengthening notices, Su Xiao had a preliminary understanding of strengthening equipment.

The so-called strengthening equipment is to deeply craft the equipment, further strengthening it on the original basis.

If a weapon is strengthened, its attack power will be improved, and if a shield is strengthened, its defense will be improved.

Su Xiao placed his hand on the display screen, and the equipment strengthening machine reacted.

【Remaining Paradise Coins: 30,357. Please place the equipment that needs to be strengthened.】

Whoosh~, a burst of steam sprayed out from both sides of the equipment strengthening machine, and a heavy metal tray appeared.

Su Xiao pondered for a few seconds and placed the Broken Elf on the metal tray in front of him. The metal tray retracted into the equipment strengthening machine.

【Equipment checking... Check complete. Each strengthening fee is 1,200 Paradise Coins.】

Su Xiao's eye corner twitched, secretly saying it was too dark.

Taking out the Broken Elf, Su Xiao placed Zhan Long Shan into it.

【Equipment checking... Check complete. Each strengthening fee is 3,000 Paradise Coins.】

Su Xiao now understood what the messages at the entrance meant, but since he had already come, he had to try what benefits there were after strengthening. If there were no benefits, so many contractors wouldn't be flocking here.

"Select strengthen."

【Strengthening starting, please wait for five minutes.】

Rumble...

The equipment strengthening machine operated, and the internal momentum was astonishing, as if it were performing cumbersome operations, and from time to time, the buzzing sound of current could be heard.

Five minutes passed in a flash.

Whoosh~.

A burst of steam emerged around the equipment strengthening machine, and the metal tray slowly extended.

【Zhan Long Shan +1 successful】

Su Xiao picked up Zhan Long Shan. He noticed at a glance that the blue light flashing on the blade edge was different from before, obviously deeper than before.

Zhan Long Shan +1 (Blade Value 48%)

Attack Power: 22~51 (Increased by 2~3)

Zhan Long Shan's attack had improved. After holding Zhan Long Shan, Su Xiao found something wrong. Zhan Long Shan definitely didn't just improve its attack.

Trying to slash out a strike, Su Xiao's eyebrows furrowed, and he placed Zhan Long Shan back on the steel tray.

【Strengthening fee is 3,000 Paradise Coins each time. Strengthen/Don't strengthen?】

Su Xiao chose yes, and the equipment strengthening machine operated. Five minutes later, the strengthening ended.

【Zhan Long Shan +2 successful】

Su Xiao didn't take out Zhan Long Shan, but chose to continue strengthening, because he discovered something very interesting.

【Zhan Long Shan +3 successful】

【Zhan Long Shan +4 successful】

【Zhan Long Shan +5 failed, dropped to +3.】

Su Xiao felt a pain in his flesh, but he still chose to continue.

【Zhan Long Shan +4 successful】

【Zhan Long Shan +5 successful!】

After strengthening to +5, Su Xiao chose to stop. If it failed after +5, the previous strengthening would be in vain, and Zhan Long Shan would drop directly to +0.

Whoosh~.

The metal tray popped out, and Zhan Long Shan rested on top. A deep blue light flashed on the blade edge of Zhan Long Shan, and the pale blue light that occasionally flashed on the blade edge of Zhan Long Shan had turned into deep blue.

Su Xiao picked up Zhan Long Shan to check its attributes.

Zhan Long Shan +5 (Blade Value 48%)

Su Xiao touched the blade edge of Zhan Long Shan with his finger, and a bloodstain appeared with just a slight touch.

Zhan Long Shan, this once white weapon, had been crafted by him into a murderous weapon. Zhan Long Shan's current attributes exceeded most blue weapons.

Su Xiao's way of crafting Zhan Long Shan was to enhance the sharpness of this sword, sharpness, sharpness, constantly improving sharpness.

Su Xiao didn't need Zhan Long Shan to have too many abilities, just enough sharpness would do.

Su Xiao didn't know how sharp Zhan Long Shan was now, so let the enemy taste it.

Zhan Long Shan becoming stronger made Su Xiao very happy, but he couldn't be happy after seeing the remaining Paradise Coins.

I don't know when, his Paradise Coins had changed from 30,357 to 9,357.

This spending of Paradise Coins made Su Xiao's liver tremble. If Zhan Long Shan had failed one more time just now, he would have gone bankrupt.

But Su Xiao didn't plan to stop there, but took out the Flame of Luck. He prepared to strengthen this lighter.

【Equipment checking... Check complete. Each strengthening fee is 900 Paradise Coins. Strengthen/Don't strengthen?】

The Flame of Luck wasn't a weapon, so the strengthening fee wasn't too high.

Su Xiao chose to strengthen.

Five minutes later.

【Flame of Luck +1 successful.】

Su Xiao chose to continue.

【Flame of Luck +2 failed, strengthening level has been cleared.】

Su Xiao was stunned. Strengthening +2 actually failed? This was somewhat inconsistent with the introduction he read before. Wasn't it said that strengthening +2 had a 97% success rate?

Strengthening continued, otherwise some attributes of the Flame of Luck were too poor, such as the cooldown time being too long.

【Flame of Luck +1 successful.】

【Flame of Luck +2 successful.】

【Flame of Luck +3 successful.】

【Flame of Luck +4 successful.】

【Flame of Luck +5 successful.】

【Flame of Luck +6 successful!】

Su Xiao lit a cigarette. A large group of people had gathered behind him at some point.

"Brother, +6 is enough. If +7 fails, it will be cleared directly, and if +8 fails, the equipment might even be damaged."

"Continue, how long has it been since I saw someone +7."

"Six consecutive successes, what kind of character is this."

Everyone was watching Su Xiao's next move. After equipment strengthening +7, the attributes would change significantly.

Su Xiao looked at the remaining Paradise Coins. There were only 1,257 Paradise Coins left, only enough for one strengthening. He checked the recovery items in the storage space. He didn't use many recovery items in the Titan world, and he didn't need to replenish recovery items in the next derived world.

【Continue strengthening Flame of Luck?】

Su Xiao took a deep breath, his hand held in mid-air.

Continue!

Rumble, the equipment strengthening machine operated. At this time, dozens of people had gathered behind Su Xiao.

Su Xiao was also a bit nervous at this time. These Paradise Coins were all exchanged with his life.

Some malicious guys behind him began to silently pray for failure.

A long wait of five minutes began. Strengthening equipment wasn't something that could be completed in the blink of an eye. This was a process of enhancing the equipment. The greater the enhancement, the higher the failure rate.

Whoosh~.

A burst of steam emerged from the strengthening machine.

【Flame of Luck +7 successful!】

As soon as this result came out, the dozens of people behind Su Xiao sighed endlessly.

The metal tray popped out, and the Flame of Luck flashing with green light appeared. Although there was no change in appearance, the overall feeling was very different. Su Xiao picked up the Flame of Luck to check its attributes.

Today, I subconsciously wanted to break the chapter when checking the attributes of the Flame of Luck, but I don't know why I felt a chill behind my back, scaring me so much that I couldn't write it out. I felt that if I did that, no one would stop me even if I were beaten to death. ===== CHAPTER 199 =====
