Chapter 2652: Gluttony

Detective · Douglas walked at the very front, and Vina, whose face was still a bit pale, followed on the side, walking towards the three-story residential building. Discovering this, Douglas glared at Vina. Vina pretended not to see it, and Douglas could only sigh secretly.

The door of the three-story residential building was pushed open, and wisps of black gas drifted out. Su Xiao's expression did not change. He directly ignored this energy that had a slight erosion on the soul.

After entering the main door, it was a porch. At this time, on the wall, there was a black moss-like object everywhere. Seeing this situation, Su Xiao's disguise permission took effect, and some records about the Dark Prison appeared in his mind. This residential building had been assimilated by the Dark Prison for a moment, but then peeled off in a flash.

Major Bart's family of four were all harmed. Although Major Bart was nearly thirty years old, he had no children, so he had always lived with his parents and wife. There were rumors outside that it was because his wife had been shot, which led to no children. The major was a lover, and his parents, one was a poet and the other was a pianist. The family of four lived very harmoniously.

Su Xiao walked through the main hall and went up to the second floor along the stairs. Detective · Douglas and Vina followed behind.

After going up to the second floor, Su Xiao opened the leather bag, took out an instrument similar to a loudspeaker from it, and buckled it on the ground.

Buzz~

Noise came from the sensor, and the sound was not low, which meant that this place had been highly fused with the Dark Prison, and even a Dark Prison crack had appeared here.

This caused the fluctuations nearby to be very chaotic. It was fine if not sensed, but once sensed carefully, one would be affected by all kinds of chaotic whispers and auras, and could not sense normally.

Su Xiao took out a test tube and poured the powder inside onto the sensor instrument. The sound waves vibrated, and the powder expressed the form of the sound waves, which was diffusion, meaning that nothing came out from the Dark Prison, but a Dark Demon opened a Dark Prison crack and threw something into the Dark Prison.

It was not a random attack event, but a Dark Demon planned it, wanting to get something from Major Bart. It was clear that they had already succeeded at this time.

The corpses of Major Bart's family of four could no longer be found, leaving only large areas of bloodstains. In most cases, Dark Demons only absorbed the souls of the victims. Eating so gluttonously this time belonged to a different kind.

【Tip: You have accepted the achievement quest · Different Kind.】

Achievement Quest: Different Kind · Gluttony

Difficulty Level: Lv. 65

Quest Information: Kill or capture the Gluttonous Dark Demon.

Quest Deadline: 8 hours

Quest Reward: 62 points of World Reputation.

Quest Penalty: In this world, Luck attribute -15 points.

This was the risk of accepting commissions. Once this commission quest failed, Su Xiao would have a negative Luck attribute. Although it was only a negative Luck attribute in this world, it was also very difficult to resist. Before he completed the main quest, or before the main quest deadline was reached, he could not leave this world.

With a negative Luck attribute, combined with the unknown enemies of the main quest, this would make Su Xiao's situation very dangerous, almost certain death.

But if he didn't accept the commission, then he would be here for nothing. The Seven-Star title was impossible to obtain, and he would even lose the identity of Shelter · Manager.

Su Xiao sat on the low cabinet in the room, his thoughts turning rapidly. The behavior of the Gluttonous Dark Demon was enough to reflect its perverse personality. The other party ate all the victims, which was different from 98% of Dark Demons.

The Gluttonous Dark Demon was so perverse. After doing all this, it probably wouldn't escape from "Sodo City," and might even stay near "Victoria Street" to find an opportunity to sneak attack the hunters who came to handle this matter.

Su Xiao took a spray can from the leather bag and began to spray transparent water mist onto the ground. Not long after, large areas of footprints appeared on the printed carpet. These footprints were very messy and stopped at the window, and there were no signs of the window being damaged.

Su Xiao looked around, and finally, his gaze stopped on the bed in the bedroom. He walked up and lifted the entire bed with one hand. On the carpet under the bed, there was a large piece of black crystal.

"Found me, hahahahaha."

A difficult and deafening laughter came from under the black crystal-like object. Vaguely, one could see an ugly big face with a mouth full of sharp teeth under it. That mouth was split to the roots of the ears on both sides.

"Hunter? Hunter, I'm here, waited for you for a long time."

With a crack, cracks appeared on the black crystal on the ground, and an arm that was pitch black and covered with horny skin protruded. This arm was very thick and covered with scars, which was clearly often fighting with hunters.

A Dark Demon, more than three meters tall, with seaweed-like hair on its head, crawled out from the crack of the Dark Prison. With its appearance, the environment around it changed.

Outside the window, it became pitch black, sealed by some kind of black fluid, and on the walls in the room, all the black-red moss-like objects seemed to come alive, surging slowly.

On the right side of the Gluttonous Dark Demon's chest, more than a dozen metal plates were embedded. This thing was a bit like a soldier's plate. In fact, its function was close to a soldier's plate. It was a plate used by hunters to represent their identity. Bronze represented new hunters, silver represented senior hunters, black represented old hunters, and white represented public officials of the Watcher Guild.

"What... monster... is this?"

Vina, not far away, murmured. For some reason, her legs were shaking uncontrollably. She clearly had no fear in her heart, but her body had an instinctive fear reaction.

"Bad."

Detective · Douglas's face was very ugly. He had participated in transcendent events for more than ten years, and it was really the first time he had encountered a Dark Demon waiting for hunters to come at the crime scene. No need to think, he knew that this Dark Demon's spirit was abnormal, not as cunning as other Dark Demons, but among the third-stage Dark Demons, it was definitely the most difficult one. This Gluttonous Dark Demon was actively hunting hunters.

"Hunter, let me see, what is my collection this time? I'm still missing a black plate, and I can... hahahaha, you want to continue listening? Do I look very stupid, will I take the initiative to tell the secret?"

The Gluttonous Dark Demon grinned, and its sharp nails pointed at the dozen or so hunter plates on its chest, totaling sixteen silver, one black, two white. Clearly, waiting at the crime scene and sneaking up on hunters was its common method. This was crazy and without wisdom, but it was very effective. More than a dozen hunters had died because of this.

"..."

Su Xiao pulled out the Zhan Long Shan at his waist and walked slowly towards the Gluttonous Dark Demon.

Boom!

The entire three-story residential building shook, and the Gluttonous Dark Demon broke through a wave of air, grabbing with its right arm that had become somewhat deformed due to strength. The sharp claws, nearly five centimeters long, drew five black marks in the air.

With a swish, the Gluttonous Dark Demon's big hand brushed past Su Xiao's cheek, but it was this distance of 3 centimeters that didn't hurt Su Xiao at all.

Su Xiao's short hair was blown up by the wind pressure, and the collar of his close-fitting clothes was blown open a bit. A blue hunter plate flew up, with a long-blade-shaped pattern on the front.

The Gluttonous Dark Demon brushed past Su Xiao, and its hand claws slammed into the wall. The entire wall shattered due to the huge force and exploded into powder during the flight.

"Sharp."

The Gluttonous Dark Demon turned around, and at the next moment, it suddenly felt that its right arm had lost sensation.

With a thud, a right arm that was thick to the point of deformity fell to the ground. The broken arm was as smooth as a mirror, and the blood at the broken arm sprayed up, splashing the nearby wall with blood.

"Woo?"

The Gluttonous Dark Demon looked at the broken opening on its right shoulder, and the strange smile on its face gradually disappeared, and its expression became serious. The flesh and blood at its broken arm surged, and a right arm grew rapidly, but as soon as this right arm grew, it felt that the right arm was very slow. Soul damage could not be perfectly solved by regeneration. Blade Master began to show its powerful side in the later stage.

Ding-a-ling~

Metal touched lightly, and the hunter plate on Su Xiao's neck hung down. At the same time, the Gluttonous Dark Demon shifted its gaze, staring at Su Xiao. But at the next moment, its expression changed sharply, its eyes widened to the limit, and its pupils contracted like needle points.

"God, Hunter!"

The Gluttonous Dark Demon didn't hesitate at all, turned around and fled.

Zing~

The Gluttonous Dark Demon suddenly felt that it had become very light, and then the whole world began to tilt. In fact, it was cut in half.

With a thud, the upper body of the Gluttonous Dark Demon smashed to the ground. It just wanted to regenerate its body, a blue slash flashed, and after a scream, blood splashed everywhere.

"Wait, I know..."

Zing!

The slash flashed, and the head of the Gluttonous Dark Demon flew up. Su Xiao didn't need the Gluttonous Dark Demon to answer any questions. He knew that there was a female hunter in "Sodo City" who was a professional in this area. Just bring the head of the Gluttonous Dark Demon to her. He didn't believe a word of the enemy's words.

Su Xiao shook the blood on the long blade, and the long blade returned to its sheath. He carried the head of the Gluttonous Dark Demon and walked out of the residential building. This time, he was lucky to meet a somewhat crazy Dark Demon.
