Chapter 153: Suppressing the Deputy Secretary

Early the next morning, the sun had just risen, and the sunlight sprinkled on the earth, bringing warmth to Chang'an in winter.

Lu Fan arrived at the gate of the Education Department on time and met with Zhao Sijie.

After meeting, the two exchanged simple greetings and walked into the Education Department building together.

After registering at the department office, the staff informed: "Department Head Huang asked you to go directly to his office after you arrive."

This news made Lu Fan secretly surprised in his heart, and he was more convinced that Zhao Sijie had a deep background, and the background must be higher than the department head level.

Then Zhao Sijie's true identity was about to come out. Lu Fan could almost be sure that Zhao Sijie was the daughter of Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary Zhao Wenfeng.

Only such a background could make her so valued by Department Head Xin.

And the peach "rumors" about her and the Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary that had spread before could also be reasonably explained.

After all, as the daughter of the "leading brother" working in Ningyang, could the Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary not look at her differently? If he showed a little intimacy, those who didn't know the truth would naturally associate it with "men and women."

Lu Fan realized that he was working under the leadership of a "hidden big shot," perhaps it was a good opportunity...

After entering the Education Department Head's office, Department Head Huang stood up directly and said with a smile: "Sijie, are you a county chief now? It's really amazing!"

Zhao Sijie smiled, and her tone was humble: "Department Head is over-praising. I am just a deputy, mainly responsible for managing education affairs. I have to carry out work under your direct leadership in the future." Then, she introduced: "Department Head, this is the Education Bureau Director of our Ningyang County, named Lu Fan."

Huang Ming looked at this young director, and the difference flashed in his heart. He smiled slightly: "A strong general has no weak soldiers! Director Lu is really young and promising, reminding me of Secretary Wang Hongtao of Zhenbei District, also from Ningyang. Your place is really full of talents!" Liu Mengyao's work was handled by Huang Ming to the Education Department, so he naturally knew Wang Hongtao's situation.

Hearing Huang Ming's praise, Lu Fan waved his hand and said modestly: "Department Head is over-praising. How can I be compared with Secretary Wang? Managing the County Education Bureau is already a bit beyond my ability. I still have to ask the Department Head for more guidance and often point out the maze!"

Zhao Sijie felt that the timing was about right, and said: "Department Head, Ningyang's education needs your strong support, and Ningyang's ground pepper mutton is also a must. You need to help us promote it vigorously. This time we came to the province, we brought some samples, please taste it! If you think our ground pepper mutton is not bad, you have to help us promote it!"

Huang Ming smiled: "I definitely won't accept other people's things, but I accept your things with peace of mind. How can I be considered your elder anyway!"

After chatting for a few more sentences, Zhao Sijie took the initiative to say goodbye. It is no exaggeration to say that the department head is busy with a thousand things. Being able to meet and report work, and then pay a New Year's greeting, has already exceeded the expected goal.

After coming out, the two visited Deputy Department Heads Gao Xiang, Xu Shengjie, and Xie Yunfei.

Zhao Sijie took office in Ningyang at the beginning of the year, just like Lu Fan, and was not familiar with the leaders of the provincial department. The two could only visit presumptuously, and then report their names.

A smiling face does not hit a person. Anyway, they are also the backbone of grassroots education. Several deputy department heads received the two enthusiastically and said some scene words.

However, for Ningyang's "local specialties," after the leaders refused, they happily accepted them, which can be considered a big surprise.

Next, it is to visit the section chiefs. These leaders are the main objects of contact in the future. Policies rely on them to implement, and work relies on them to support.

Although these section chiefs have high ranks and master many resources, they cannot be compared with the County Party Committee Secretary, a party official. They are very enthusiastic about the comrades who come to visit from the grassroots, because these comrades are "fat sheep," allowing the section chiefs to have a good fat year!

For a whole day, Lu Fan and Zhao Sijie shuttled between the sections of the Education Department, first knowing more than a dozen section chiefs, and at least getting familiar with faces. If they want to communicate at a deeper level, they have to see the real chapter in future work and projects.

When it was time to get off work in the afternoon, the truck full of "local specialties" stopped not far outside the Education Department courtyard. From time to time, you could see cars driving out of the courtyard, and then stopping next to the truck. Lu Fan personally put mutton, miscellaneous grains, and other local specialties into their trunks.

As for the "local specialties" of the department leaders, they have to be delivered to their doors personally, they won't come here to take them.

After completing all the tasks, the time had quietly passed to late at night, the moonlight was like silver, and the stars were dotted.

Lu Fan seemed to have drained his last bit of strength, his legs were soft.

However, in sharp contrast, Zhao Sijie still stood straight, and she was wearing high heels.

Lu Fan couldn't help but ask curiously: "County Chief Zhao, you are really a heroine! We have been busy for a whole day, but you are still energetic, aren't you tired at all?"

Zhao Sijie smiled slightly and said: "I'm not an iron man, how can I not be tired? In public, pay attention to image!"

So beautiful, beauties are indeed self-disciplined.

Lu Fan asked again: "Presumptuously ask the leader a private question, where does the brother-in-law work?"

I saw Zhao Sijie roll her eyes and say: "I'm not married yet, where did you get the brother-in-law?" After speaking, she turned and got into the car, leaving Lu Fan messy in the wind.

After getting in the car, Lu Fan asked: "Leader, the task is successfully completed, it's late, let's find a place to deal with it, and then send you home?"

"Forget it, I just want to lie on the soft bed now and have a comfortable sleep. I don't eat at night, you eat by yourself, come to pick me up to Ningyang tomorrow."

Through these two days of getting along day and night, Lu Fan and the leader in charge Zhao Sijie have invisibly become much closer. This is also what Lu Fan deliberately did. If you don't hold the thigh, you are a fool!

The next day, Lu Fan arrived to pick up Zhao Sijie after ten o'clock, let the leader rest well, and specially prepared some snacks in the car, guessing that Zhao Sijie didn't eat breakfast.

Sure enough, after County Chief Zhao got in the car, she tore open the packaging without hesitation, eating and praising Lu Fan for his good eye for picking snacks.

Today it was Zhao Sijie's turn to be curious, and she asked: "Director Lu, I heard that you are not married either? Are you dazzled by picking?"

Lu Fan agrees with one sentence: Don't tell others all your suffering. Sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy all need to be tasted by yourself. Your pain is just a story in the eyes of others, and no one can empathize with you. Life is inherently isolated and helpless. You must learn to be self-consistent in loneliness and learn to grow in no one's attention.

Lu Fan smiled faintly and said: "Fate is a wonderful thing. In the vast wilderness of time, meeting not early or late, not biased or skewed, is the best intersection. All meetings are God's will, we don't need to be in a hurry, maybe one day fate will fall from the sky!"

Zhao Sijie nodded thoughtfully. From Lu Fan's eyes, she saw a lot. This is a man with a story!

On January 18, the assessment of the county education system came to an end, and the Education Bureau immediately convened a meeting to listen to the situation of each assessment group.

When the meeting officially started, Lu Fan's clear and firm voice spread throughout the conference room: "Before the meeting, I announce an important decision of the Bureau Party Committee to everyone. According to the actual needs of current work, after careful consideration, the division of labor of the bureau leadership team is now adjusted appropriately. Please convey it specifically by the office!"

This sentence was like a heavy bomb, causing a huge uproar. Instantly, the participants straightened their bodies, and their eyes focused on Lu Fan.

At the same time, the faces of several leaders became unusually heavy. They seemed to have foreseen something, their hearts were uneasy, and the atmosphere in the conference room suddenly became tense.

At the same time, document clerk Lu Xingzhou read: "According to the decision of the Bureau Party Committee, the division of labor of the bureau leadership team members is now adjusted as follows: Party Committee Deputy Secretary Shen Jiqin, division of labor adjusted to: responsible for party style and clean government construction, clean campus, contact vocational middle schools; Deputy Director Feng Bo, division of labor adjusted to: in charge of basic education, vocational education, adult education, school logistics management, education administrative approval, supervision of off-campus education and training..."

Everyone present listened attentively, not daring to have the slightest slack, for fear of missing even a word.

Every sentence of Lu Xingzhou was like a heavy iron hammer, hitting everyone's heart heavily, making them feel confused, puzzled, and shocked.

The redistribution of power, different people's reactions are also different. Some are overjoyed, as if seeing new opportunities and hope; while others are worried, fearing that their interests will be affected.

Deputy Secretary Shen Jiqin's face was blue, his fists clenched, as if he was desperately restraining his anger and dissatisfaction.

After Lu Xingzhou finished reading, Deputy Secretary Shen Jiqin stood up without hesitation and questioned loudly: "Director Lu, is this the decision of the Bureau Party Committee? How come I, a party committee member, know nothing about it? Where is democracy? Also, where is my work flawed? Or did I make any mistakes? Why adjust my division of labor for no reason?"

Lu Fan said coldly: "If you have any questions, report to me after the meeting. This is a meeting place, please pay attention to quality, don't shout! Okay, now start the meeting, please report the evaluation situation of each group, Secretary Shen, you are responsible for the assessment of the middle school group, you come first!"

Shen Jiqin stood or sat, and was bullied to the head, can this be tolerated?

So he said: "I think the adjustment of the division of labor is not open, not transparent, and did not seek everyone's opinions. I think it is unreasonable. Everyone has worked hard for half a lifetime, and there is no credit but hard work. You can't just wipe it out with a light sentence! I need a reasonable explanation! Everyone, I'm sorry, I'm in a bad mood, I can't report for the time being!" After speaking, he flicked his sleeves and left!

Lu Fan ignored it and continued: "Please Deputy Director Feng Bo report the specific situation of the primary school group assessment."

"Okay, Director, according to the bureau's arrangement and deployment, our group conducted a comprehensive assessment of 18 central primary schools in the county, and now report the situation as follows..."

In this division of labor adjustment, the most senior Shen Jiqin suffered the greatest loss, and naturally was the most dissatisfied. And the division of labor of other leaders intertwined with each other, and they also took away a piece of fat from Shen Jiqin, so naturally there was no complaint.
