Chapter 193: Ministry of Education Research

On December 23, the Ministry of Education research team arrived in Yingjiang City to conduct research on the high-quality balanced development of compulsory education at the county level. The Municipal Education Bureau naturally recommended Ningyang County, as there was really no other place worth seeing.

At the welcome banquet in the evening, just as everyone was drinking and chatting happily with the Ministry of Education research team, Provincial Party Standing Committee member and Municipal Party Secretary Li Mingzhou suddenly walked into the private room and said with a smile to team leader Wu Dong: "Welcome the Ministry of Education research team to Yingjiang to guide work. There was a reception just now, sorry for the rudeness!"

Wu Dong didn't dare to be big. One must know that Li Mingzhou was at the deputy ministerial level and was also an alternate member of the Central Committee. His influence and power were very great, not inferior to any Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education.

Wu Dong hurriedly stood up and said respectfully: "Secretary Li is busy with work, and can still take time to come over, which really makes us flattered!"

"Let me toast everyone a glass!" Li Mingzhou raised his glass and drank it in one gulp.

Everyone responded one after another and also drank the cup.

Then, Li Mingzhou started "walking the circle," toasting each member of the research team three glasses of wine.

But when it was Li Zimeng's turn, her sentence made everyone dumbfounded!

"Drink less, isn't your health important? Your stomach has problems!"

Li Mingzhou said with a doting face: "Usually don't drink, don't drink ordinary wine, come home with me after eating!"

Everyone suddenly realized. They didn't expect that Li Zimeng, who usually didn't show her face, was actually Secretary Li Mingzhou's daughter! My goodness, some people started to think, had they offended this little princess before? It seems that they must flatter her in the future. Secretary Li's upward momentum was visible to the naked eye!

After toasting, Li Mingzhou laughed: "Team Leader Wu, everyone, you must taste Yingjiang's specialties, eat well and don't miss home!" Then he looked at the Municipal Education Bureau Director, "Di Bin, you must do a good job in logistics support for the research team, and report any problems to me in time."

"Secretary Li, rest assured, I will do a good job in coordination and service." Di Bin hurriedly stated.

After the banquet ended, Di Bin diligently sent Li Zimeng to the apartment where Li Mingzhou lived.

The father and daughter hadn't seen each other for several months, so they were naturally very missed. The two sat on the living room sofa, having endless whispers, enjoying this rare time together, and the living room was filled with warmth.

Gradually, Li Mingzhou led the topic to the major event of marriage, "Zimeng, you are in your Benming year this year, right? Don't you have someone you like?"

"Dad, don't worry about it, just care about yourself! I'm already working, you don't need to consider so much, find someone who knows cold and heat, I raise both hands in favor!"

"You girl, how did you get around to me! I'm so busy all day, where do I have that leisure? Dad's greatest hope is that you have a good person to accompany you, everything goes smoothly, enjoy the sweetness of love in the best time, and be healthy and happy forever! As long as he treats you sincerely, no matter what status, I can accept it!"

"Dad, I'm not a celibate, but you don't want me to marry a vulgar person who is obedient and flattering, right? Everyone in our unit is like this! In Jingcheng, I have also come into contact with some so-called second generations. Which one is not a lustful person? On the surface, they are glamorous, but behind the scenes, they are full of male theft and female prostitution, all a group of ignorant and incompetent people. You wouldn't want me to find that kind, right?"

"Of course these you mentioned won't work, but your age is not small, you can't always be single!"

"Dad, I believe in fate! Rest assured, what should come will come. I've only been working for two years, let feelings take their course!"

Li Mingzhou had to nod, "Fine, since you have your own ideas, Dad won't say much. However, if you meet a suitable person, don't miss it."

"I know, old Dad." Li Zimeng affectionately held Li Mingzhou's arm, "You also pay attention to your health, don't be too tired, hurry up and find me a 'stepmother.' Rest assured, we will get along well!"

"You are alone in Jingcheng, you also have to take care of yourself, tell Dad in time if you have any difficulties."

"I know, thank you old Dad!" Li Zimeng felt warm in her heart. Having such a loving father after depending on each other for so many years, she felt incomparably happy.

Suddenly, Li Mingzhou said: "Tomorrow you go to Ningyang for research, there is a young man I am very optimistic about, Ningyang County Education Bureau Director, you observe him, see if you can see eye to eye."

Not wanting to disappoint her father, Li Zimeng perfunctorily said: "Fine, I'll take a close look!"

On December 24, Wu Dong, Deputy Director of the Education Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Education, led a team to conduct research on the high-quality balanced development of compulsory education in Ningyang County. This was key work for the Ministry of Education's large-scale acceptance in 2015. Provincial Education Department Deputy Director Xu Shengjie, Municipal Education Bureau Director Di Bin accompanied, County Chief Bian Jide, Education Bureau Director Lu Fan accompanied the research.

The research team went to the High School, Junior Middle School, County First Primary School Research and Practice Education Base, and Zhangqu Town Central Primary School one after another, listened to the school work reports, carefully inspected the canteens, labor bases, psychological counseling rooms, etc., and conducted detailed research on the equipment of functional rooms and laboratories, and the opening of various activity rooms.

During the research process, everyone in the research team had a profound feeling that Ningyang's Education Bureau Director was young, but his business ability was very strong, he was extremely familiar with the work, and was extremely loved by the teachers. No matter which school he went to, teachers would say "Hello Director Lu" when they met him! It could be seen that the teachers respected him from the bottom of their hearts.

This situation happened to an administrative leader, and the research team stated they had never seen it before. Li Zimeng expressed surprise!

The research team started looking for reasons, and they felt this was very meaningful.

Thus, everything Lu Fan did this year was slowly "exposed" to the research team, including teachers' treatment, military training, burden reduction, the reversal of the education atmosphere, etc.

After an in-depth understanding, Li Zimeng couldn't help but develop a small trace of admiration for Lu Fan. It seemed that her father's vision was indeed good. This director was indeed different, shining with many unique lights, which she had never witnessed in other places.

Driven by curiosity, Li Zimeng intended to find an opportunity to chat with Lu Fan.

But the response Lu Fan gave was enthusiastic, generous, and polite, his eyes were particularly clear and deep, Li Zimeng didn't feel any selfish desire or distraction, and she, such a big beauty, was completely ignored by him!

Women are strange creatures, making people unable to see through. When you are lustful, your heart will despise and look down on it, thinking he is just a vulgar person who covets beauty. But if it is the other way around, when she is completely ignored or turned a blind eye, when she suffers from being ignored, she will feel full of resentment and unwillingness, and even start to doubt whether that man really has vision and taste!

The two-day research ended quickly, and the research team and Ningyang County held a symposium.

At the meeting, Education Bureau Director Lu Fan reported to the research team on the high-quality balanced development of compulsory education in Ningyang County and the highlight work.

Wu Dong fully affirmed the achievements made by Ningyang County in promoting the basic balanced development of compulsory education; and hoped that Ningyang would continue to adhere to the balanced development of compulsory education and local characteristics, earnestly implement the relevant deployments of the State Council and the Ministry of Education, and earnestly fulfill government responsibilities.

Wu Dong emphasized that high-quality balance of compulsory education is not just about equipment and facilities; one must adhere to education quality and pay attention to the satisfaction of society and parents; improve education quality, fill shortcomings, expand resources, and actively promote the high-quality balanced development of compulsory education.

In the evening, the research team returned to Yingjiang and would go to Ganshui County for research tomorrow.

Li Zimeng returned home and excitedly told her father about the peculiar phenomenon of Ningyang education, giving Lu Fan full affirmation from the perspective of work.

"I haven't seen such an Education Bureau Director. I feel he is a director who really does things. Teachers praise him, and Ningyang's middle and high school entrance exam results have improved by leaps and bounds, all thanks to Lu Fan. Moreover, the Ministry of Education shouts to reduce the burden on teachers every year, but no place pays attention to it. But Ningyang's 'Ten Measures' really help teachers reduce the burden, and the effect is obvious. Dad, you didn't see the wrong person this time, this Lu Fan is indeed very excellent!"

Li Mingzhou revealed a gratified smile, and then said earnestly: "Your old Dad has read countless people, when did I see the wrong person? From Lu Fan, I saw a heart for the people, which is the most rare and valuable. How about it? Are you interested in developing with him?"

"Forget it! I see him like a monk who doesn't eat human fireworks, and he didn't even look at me straight!"

At least he didn't hear a refusal, Li Mingzhou laughed: "My precious daughter is so beautiful and excellent, can it still be his turn to pick? As long as you have this idea, Dad will solve the rest!"

Li Zimeng hurriedly begged for mercy: "Dad, you make me look like a dandy who bullies men and women. You stop, I am only curious about him, and only in terms of work. Just looking at his appearance, he is very ordinary, his temperament is earthy, and he seems younger than me. He is not my dish!" After finishing, she ran back to the bedroom to rest.

Li Mingzhou sat in the living room thoughtfully, pondering his daughter's marriage again. For the past ten years, he has been both a father and a mother, which is not easy!

In December, the Municipal Public Security Bureau carried out a large-scale cadre adjustment. Baishu Bay Police Station Director Wang Hongpeng was logically promoted to Deputy Director of the Ningyang County Public Security Bureau.

Lu Fan specifically hosted a meal to congratulate Wang Hongpeng on his promotion, only bringing Liu Jin Zhu who worked in the Public Security Bureau. The meaning was self-evident: take care of what should be taken care of.

While drinking, Wang Hongpeng whispered to Lu Fan: "Director Lu, ask you for something."

"What ask or not, just instruct if you have something!"

"Your nephew is about to go to elementary school. I am very raw about education. Can you help and get him into the Experimental Elementary School?"

Lu Fan didn't say a word, dialed the phone of Municipal Education Bureau Deputy Director Li Dong, and implemented it on the spot.

Director Li gave face, let Lu Fan send the information, and he can go to school next semester, and can go to any class he wants!

Internal people doing things is just one sentence, at most give two cigarettes.

What else could Wang Hongpeng say? He drank a full wine dispenser in one gulp!
