Chapter 202: Office

Just coming out of the County Chief's office, Lu Fan "bumped" into Government Office Director Yang Yi, who said enthusiastically, "Deputy County Chief Lu, congratulations! The office is in 606, I'll take you there."

Lu Fan laughed, "Troubling Director Yang!"

"No trouble, no trouble, I am here to serve all leaders! Deputy County Chief Lu, my office is right next to yours, 604, call me anytime if you have anything."

Arriving at the office, Lu Fan pushed the door and looked around. It was 24 square meters. After unified renovation, it looked exceptionally spacious and bright. The desk and chairs placed by the window were simple and comfortable, looking very high-end; opposite was a whole bookcase, in the middle was a sofa and tea table, and there was even an exquisite tea boiling machine in the corner. There was even a small and exquisite refrigerator by the wall.

The whole room was cleaned up, spotless. Lu Fan was very satisfied. This is the treatment of a Deputy County Chief. You must know that the Deputy Hall level of provincial agencies and the Zheng Hall level of ministries and commissions have this standard.

A few years ago, Lu Fan fantasized about having an office in this building. The dream of many years finally came true!

Yang Yi asked, "Deputy County Chief Lu, what do you lack? I'll have the office prepare it."

Lu Fan laughed, "I can rest assured with you checking it? Director Yang, thanks! Oh, by the way, there is something to communicate with you. I have reported to the County Chief, let Xia Li coordinate me."

Yang Yi didn't doubt it. Although he was a bit disappointed, he immediately said, "I will notify Xia Li to report later. What about the secretary?" Ningyang has always called the leader's liaison a secretary.

Lu Fan thought for a while and said, "No rush, I'll understand it before deciding."

"That's fine, Deputy County Chief Lu, you go ahead and get busy. I'll be next door, call me or have the secretary call me if you have anything."

Before long, Xia Li pushed the door and entered. The smile on his face couldn't be suppressed at all. He said excitedly, "Deputy County Chief Lu, I'm here to report!"

Lu Fan laughed, "No need to be so formal, we can call each other brothers in private. Secretary Yang went to the County Party Committee, you follow me in the future!"

"I've been looking forward to this day!" The leader can be casual, but Xia Li must understand the rules. The title "Brother Fan" can be sealed, especially after he serves Lu Fan!

Lu Fan handed the Deputy County Chief division of labor document to Xia Li and instructed, "According to the division of labor, organize the work summaries, issued policies, and applied funds and projects of these units in the past five years. I have to study it. Oh, by the way, the Education Bureau's doesn't need it."

"County Chief, do you want to notify these units to report on work?"

Lu Fan shook his head and said, "No need, the division of labor will only be announced tomorrow. Besides, those who are willing to come will naturally come, and those who are not willing to come cannot force them!"

"Alright, I'll go prepare immediately."

"Xia Li, I'm still missing a secretary. Who do you think is suitable? It's best to be someone who hasn't served a leader and is younger."

Xia Li thought for a while and said, "There is a civil servant who took the exam in 2013, named Li Junwu, an undergraduate who graduated from the Provincial Political Science and Law University. He is quite steady and has some literary talent. His father was a Deputy Director of the Civil Affairs Bureau and has already left his post."

Lu Fan decided directly, "You go and greet Director Yang Yi, it's him!"

"Alright, I'll go now."

After Xia Li came out, he steadied his mind, first went to Li Junwu's office, called him out, and whispered, "Junwu, I just recommended you to Deputy County Chief Lu, and the leader agreed for you to be his secretary."

Li Junwu grabbed Xia Li's hand and said excitedly, "Director Xia, great kindness is not spoken of, look at my performance!"

"Don't be polite, who made us compatible, and you also have this ability. Now you organize the work summaries, issued policies, and applied funds and projects of the health, science and technology, culture, radio and television, quality supervision, Red Cross, sports commission, science and technology association, and meteorological bureau in the past five years, and send them to Deputy County Chief Lu. Speed up, do it beautifully."

"Director, I'll go immediately, I'll get it done tonight!"

Lu Fan sat in the office and felt it for a while, feeling incomparably sour and refreshing. Sure enough, power is a man's stimulant.

The government office distributes reception tea, and the quality is average. Lu Fan called Lu Xingzhou, the document clerk of the Education Bureau, and asked him to send the few boxes of tea in the cabinet over, and then went out to "visit".

The first visit was to Executive Deputy County Chief Hao Qiang, the "number two" of the County Government.

After entering the door, Hao Qiang immediately stood up to welcome him, poured tea himself, and laughed, "I was preparing to go to your place to sit!"

Lu Fan laughed, "Wouldn't that lose etiquette? I was afraid you would go, so I came first!"

"Lu Fan, we are old friends, and now we are working together again. We must watch and help each other and communicate with each other in work and life!"

"You are the leader, I will definitely listen to your greeting!"

"That's being too polite. You and I are both Deputy County Chiefs! Oh, by the way, there is something we can communicate about. How about inviting the County Chief to dinner another day?"

Lu Fan laughed, "You arrange it, I guarantee to be on call!"

"That's fine, I'll organize it after the division of labor tomorrow."

After chatting for ten minutes, Lu Fan found an excuse to leave and turned to the office of Standing Committee member and Deputy County Chief Mi Xuwen. As a junior, he must visit his seniors one by one.

Mi Xuwen entered the Standing Committee, also in high spirits, and the two were considered "people on the same path" before, so they naturally chatted very happily.

As for Deputy County Chief Guo Tongyu, that goes without saying, purely an old relationship. Seeing Lu Fan enter the door, he was very enthusiastic, chatted for more than half an hour, and even went out to eat at noon, expressing explicitly and implicitly that they would advance and retreat together in the future.

Deputy County Chief and Public Security Bureau Director Su Zhenghao works in the Public Security Bureau most of the time, and couldn't be seen today.

After a lap, Lu Fan connected with his "neighbors" and started working after returning to the office in the afternoon.

Not long after, Health Bureau Director Li Daqiang came.

As soon as he entered the door, he put a file bag into the cabinet. At a glance, there were two cartons of cigarettes inside.

Lu Fan felt like a lifetime away, and his thoughts gradually drifted away. He vaguely remembered that he had once brought two cartons of cigarettes to his house for the New Year. At that time, Li Daqiang was a township secretary with great power, and he was a promising young man who had just started and was full of dreams.

However, time flies, and things are like chess. In a few years, the two have reversed. Lu Fan has emerged and became the competent leader of Health Bureau Director Li Daqiang!

Recalling the bits and pieces of these years, Lu Fan felt very emotional. The greenness and ignorance of the past have now been replaced by maturity and stability; the dreams and hatreds of the past have also become firmer under the tempering of reality. Only by constantly moving forward can one realize the ambitions in one's heart and write one's own brilliance!

Looking at Li Daqiang who was familiar in front of him, Lu Fan said with a smile, "Director Li, I won't say anything this time. Don't be so polite in the future!"

How could Li Daqiang not have the same mood? The former acting field manager of Baishu Bay, not even a Deputy Ke level, has now become his competent leader!

He also went through a long ideological struggle, weighed the pros and cons, put down the restraint in his heart, and was the first to report on work, at least there was the incense friendship of many years.

Although the division of labor document has not come out, among the old qualified directors, who doesn't have an "insider" in the government office? He already knew that Lu Fan was in charge of health.

Li Daqiang laughed, "I will be completely relieved to carry out work under the leadership of Deputy County Chief Lu in the future, and I won't worry about no one supporting health work!"

Lu Fan laughed, "The division of labor hasn't come out yet, don't be impatient! Director Li, let me understand, have you visited the Municipal Bureau and Provincial Department?"

Li Daqiang said, "In previous years, I have already been there at this time. This year is special, so it has been dragged until now. County Chief, do you have time tomorrow?"

Lu Fan smiled and said, "Okay, you connect well, I'll listen to your arrangement." This is Li Daqiang releasing goodwill, taking public things, making personal connections, who wouldn't be happy?

You must know that those who eat people's mouths are short, and those who take people's hands are soft. If the people in the Municipal Bureau and Provincial Department accept the benefits, can they not reach out when encountering personal matters? Some directors rely on the relationship of provincial and municipal leaders to go to a higher level.

After sitting for ten minutes, Li Daqiang left.

Lu Fan was very satisfied. Being able to come indicates an attitude, which is a good start.

After work, Lu Fan went to the government small kitchen to eat and saw Deputy Secretary Yang Chuanbei waving at him, so he sat over to eat together.

Yang Chuanbei whispered, "Deputy County Chief Lu, congratulations!"

Lu Fan replied, "Congratulations to you too! Please take care of me in the future, Secretary Yang!"

Yang Chuanbei laughed, "Said it wrong, you should take care of me. There is a relative in Liu Guanmiao Primary School, can you find a way to transfer him back?"

Lu Fan couldn't slap himself in the face, and said tactfully, "Secretary Yang, the County Government has issued a document, there are hard bars to transfer back to the city, let him work hard and strive to reach the standard first!"

"Okay, if you are not hard enough, what face do you have to make requests? But you worry about this matter."

"Alright, give me the information when you're done."

Before long, County Party Committee Secretary Hu Chengwei came in, and Organization Department Head Jiang Guanyu followed behind.

After they sat down, Propaganda Department Head Yue Aoxue also leaned over.

Lu Fan whispered, "Secretary Yang, the leader is here!"

"He eats his, we eat ours, isn't the food the same?"

Listening to this tone, it seems like they can't pee in the same pot. It seems the rumors are not groundless!

Coming out of the small kitchen, Lu Fan specially looked back. Next to it was the government big kitchen. He used to eat there before.

To say that he wasn't envious before is a lie. He can finally eat in the small kitchen openly. It doesn't matter if it's free or not, it's mainly a symbol of status!

Lu Fan came out of the government gate, and many people behind him pointed and discussed, sighing that the youngest county-level leader in the whole county was in front of him!

Returning home, Lu Fan called Su Xiaoyi and asked him to prepare 100 pieces of lamb on Thursday morning. The packaging should be beautiful, the meat quality should be good, and the seasoning bag must be prepared by Chen Tianhao. Then prepare a truck to transport the lamb to the capital.

The matter explained by Secretary Li Mingzhou must be completed with high quality. Lu Fan intends to let Xia Li go to Baishu Bay to watch it himself on Wednesday, and there cannot be a single flaw.

Younger sister Lu Yao only knew today that her brother had been promoted to Deputy County Chief. She was excited and jumping at home, happier than Lu Fan. The siblings specially opened a bottle of red wine to celebrate.
