Chapter 231: Crisis Emerges

On the first day of the holiday, the documents on Lu Fan's desk were piled up like a mountain, each of which needed to be read carefully, then given specific instructions, and handled by various departments.

Time ticked away, Lu Fan's eyes began to feel a bit sour, and he finally finished the task. He let out a long sigh of relief, stood up, moved his muscles and bones, and went to the office of Deputy County Chief Chen Muxue next door with a water cup.

"Oh, County Chief Lu is free today!" Seeing Lu Fan enter the door, Chen Muxue stood up to welcome him.

Lu Fan sat down on his own and said with a smile, "Busy all morning, finally finished that stall. Come over to chat, see what else you need, I will calculate the 'landlord'!"

Chen Muxue smiled and said, "I am here to work in Ningyang, not to enjoy. Besides, the government office considers it very thoughtfully, I don't lack anything here, but I still want to thank you for your kindness!"

"We are all 'comrades-in-arms' in the same trench. It is right to help each other. If there is any place where you need my cooperation in work, just open your mouth at any time, and I will definitely go all out."

After saying a few polite words, Lu Fan tentatively asked, "County Chief Chen, I want to ask you something!"

"County Chief Lu, just ask, I must know everything and say everything!"

Lu Fan showed difficulty on his face and said, "There is a younger brother, the child of the second uncle, who graduated from junior college and is now unable to find a job. I heard that Qinchuan Oilfield is recruiting people?"

Hearing this, Chen Muxue already understood.

After thinking for a while, she said softly, "County Chief Lu, it's not that I'm refusing, I don't know the specific situation of this matter, I have to go home and ask for instructions. You also know the situation in the past two years, all aspects are relatively strict, and as far as I know, it is not easy to handle. However, since you opened your mouth, I will definitely treat it seriously!" Some relationships don't need to be covered up, her father is the Vice President of Qinchuan Petroleum, which cannot be hidden.

Lu Fan hurriedly said, "County Chief Chen, I am very grateful that you can agree to help! If the difficulty is great, don't embarrass yourself! After all, his future road has to be walked by himself. If he didn't study hard when he was in school, he can't blame others."

After chatting for a few sentences, Lu Fan stood up to say goodbye. This was the first time he asked a colleague to handle something after taking a leadership position. He couldn't help but take care of his cousin.

In October in northern Shaanxi, the summer colors in the fields have faded, the autumn is high and the air is crisp, which is refreshing, and the weather has begun to cool down. Lu Fan began to check the 138 short-board projects of "Double High and Double Universal" one by one. The province has issued a notice, and the acceptance work is arranged in the latter ten days.

At the same time, the acceptance of provincial key high schools and provincial demonstration high schools is also arranged this month, so the whole October is very busy.

On October 20th, Lu Fan was checking work at the High School when Si Daiqiang called and said excitedly, "Fanzi, quietly tell you a good news, the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee has come to Yinzhou for inspection, and the Secretary is about to be regularized!"

"That's really great! Brother Si, pay attention these days, don't make any moths!" Lu Fan was also very excited. The teacher is about to become the Yinzhou Municipal Party Secretary!

"Put your heart in your stomach, the leader succeeds the Municipal Party Secretary, the whole city is looking forward to it! Except for the Secretary, no one else is useful!"

Hanging up the phone, Lu Fan was sincerely happy for the teacher. That is the Municipal Party Secretary. As far as he knows, Ningyang people don't seem to have such a big official, and based on the teacher's age, political achievements, and prestige, he will definitely reach a height that ordinary people cannot reach in the future!

On October 21st, the provincial standardized high school evaluation and acceptance expert group of 8 people led by Zhao Sijie, Director of the Infrastructure Division of the Provincial Department of Education, and including leaders such as the editor-in-chief of the Resource Department of the Provincial Audio-Visual Education Center, the deputy director of the Provincial Basic Education Resource R&D Center, and the director of the Examination and Evaluation Center of the Provincial Institute of Educational Sciences, came to Ningyang County to conduct a re-examination of Ningyang High School's application for a provincial standardized high school.

Ningyang County attached great importance to it, and County Party Committee Secretary Hu Chengwei and Deputy County Chief Lu Fan accompanied the whole process.

In the morning, the evaluation and acceptance meeting was presided over by Director Zhao Sijie, and Secretary Hu Chengwei first delivered a welcome speech.

Subsequently, High School Principal Zhang Shangjin made a detailed report on the development characteristics of Ninggao from ten aspects such as school-running philosophy and development planning, school organization and management, and teacher team construction.

Subsequently, the experts inspected and guided the school culture and main departments of Ninggao.

Afterwards, the experts grouped to inspect the infrastructure construction of Ninggao, observe student activities, consult file materials, and personally went to the classroom to listen to classes, and at the same time held teacher symposiums, student symposiums, and parent symposiums to understand Ninggao's education and teaching situation and school-running level from all directions and multiple angles.

The expert group strictly compared the evaluation rules and evaluation standards, evaluated 10 first-level indicators, 37 second-level indicators, and 113 third-level indicators, and deeply and meticulously checked and evaluated various works of the school.

In the afternoon, the expert group also inspected Ninggao's club activities one by one to understand Ninggao's quality education and characteristic education.

In the evening, just as the grand banquet began, Lu Fan's mobile phone rang. Seeing that it was Li Yifeng, the farm manager of Baishu Bay Forest Farm, he hid in the bathroom to answer the phone.

"Yifeng, is something the matter? I am entertaining the leaders of the Provincial Department."

Li Yifeng said in a low tone, "County Chief Lu, maybe I am too worried and too sensitive, but I always feel that something is wrong recently. For a period of time, there have been some strangers secretly asking about your situation in the forest farm. And, I specifically observed these strangers, and they have been lingering in the Baishu Bay area for many days. To be honest, this situation really makes me feel very unusual!"

Hearing this, Lu Fan's heart tightened, as if he had been hit heavily by something, and a sense of tension and unease that could not be described in words surged into his heart like a tide.

Trying to stabilize his emotions, Lu Fan thought calmly and said, "Yifeng, thank you! You know the financial problems of the forest farm best, is there any hidden danger?"

Li Yifeng said worriedly, "On the surface, there is definitely no problem, but you also know that many things cannot be investigated in detail. After all, there are some necessary expenses in the work, and they cannot be accounted for, so we have to think of some ways to deal with them."

Lu Fan carefully recalled the financial details when he presided over the Baishu Bay Forest Farm work, and felt that there were no loopholes, so he said: "Just in case, you should carefully check the financial accounts of the past few years, and if there are any loopholes, make up for them as soon as possible. As for that little money, as long as it is not in your own pocket, it is not a big problem. If there is anything, we will communicate in time."

"Okay, County Chief Lu, I hope I am worrying about the sky!"

After returning to his seat, Lu Fan adjusted his mood and warmly entertained the acceptance group.

At night, the moonlight spilled into the room through the window, and Lu Fan tossed and turned on the bed, always feeling uneasy, realizing that trouble might be waiting for him.

He began to think about what might happen. If it was really Le Xueren who took action to fix him, then the consequences would be unimaginable. The power and influence of a Vice Provincial Governor are huge, and ordinary people can hardly imagine what kind of trouble they can bring.

In this quiet night, Lu Fan thought about how to protect himself and how to resolve this potential crisis.

At the same time, he also secretly prayed, hoping that everything was just a false alarm.

The next morning, according to the evaluation and acceptance schedule, an evaluation feedback meeting was held.

At the meeting, the expert group members gave feedback one by one according to the evaluation situation, and gave high praise to all parts of Ninggao's standardized school construction work.

Lu Fan made a statement on behalf of the County Party Committee, County Government, Education Bureau, and Ninggao. This provincial acceptance is a favorable opportunity for Ninggao to show its charm, and it is also a powerful challenge to urge Ninggao to run schools better. Ningyang County will definitely be under the support of leaders at all levels and under the guidance of experts, blooming its own dazzling brilliance in the ranks of basic education!

Finally, on the basis of exchanging opinions among experts, Director Zhao Sijie made a summary, fully affirmed the work done by Ningyang High School in creating a provincial demonstration high school, pointed out the direction of efforts for the school to solidly take the road of characteristic and brand development in the next step, and put forward earnest expectations.

Finally, after the deliberation of the expert group, it was unanimously agreed that Ningyang High School successfully passed the provincial demonstration high school evaluation!

Warm applause erupted at the scene, and everyone's face was filled with pride and joy, cheering for the success of Ningyang High School.

County Party Committee Secretary Hu Chengwei also couldn't hide the joy in his heart, and said with a loud and passionate voice, "The achievement of honor is both an affirmation and an encouragement, and it represents a heavy responsibility and earnest expectation. Ningyang County will take this successful creation of a provincial demonstration high school as an opportunity to further strengthen the construction of the teacher team, explore development models suitable for local reality, live up to the trust, position at a high point, move forward, create better results, and help Ningyang education write a new chapter!"

The smooth passing of the provincial key evaluation filled the blank in this aspect in Ningyang County, which is of great significance, marking that Ningyang High School has entered a new journey of high-speed and high-quality development!

This is another major political achievement since Lu Fan served as the Director of the Education Bureau, but at this time, his bright smile hid a heart that was uneasy!

After the lunch banquet, the acceptance group left Ningyang, and there was a small truck accompanying them, and Ningyang would definitely not lack etiquette.

Before leaving, Zhao Sijie felt Lu Fan's abnormality and pulled him aside to ask, "Nothing happened, right?"

Lu Fan took a preventive shot in advance, with a sad face, and said, "Sister Zhao, if something happens to me, I hope you and Brother Wu can help within your ability!"

"Ah?" Zhao Sijie said in surprise, "Xiao Fan, is it that serious?"

Lu Fan briefly narrated the contradiction between himself and Le Xueren in a few words, expressing a certain worry.

Zhao Sijie was very anxious for Lu Fan and said, "He is a Vice Provincial Governor after all, he won't lower his status and use unscrupulous means to care about you, right? I will discuss with Xiaohua after I go back. Xiao Fan, you must take care!"

"Thank you for your concern, Sister Zhao, I hope I am worrying about the sky!" ===== CHAPTER 232 =====
