Chapter 577: Night Raid on Ginza_1
"No, what does this have to do with you? I came to the Island Country to unwind, is there a problem with finding a few Island Country beauties to have fun with? If you’re gonna kill me, hurry it up. I haven’t done ’that’ these past few days, and I’m starting to miss it. Now you’re presenting yourself to me—how obedient."
Ye Luo looked at Sakura Miko with a wicked smile on his face.
"I will definitely kill you!"
Sakura Miko said coldly, her figure vanishing abruptly, come without shadow, gone without a trace.
"Sakura Miko... Sakura Ryuu..." Mingyue murmured to herself.
"Girl, what are you thinking about? Let’s go," Ye Luo called out to Mingyue.
"Was that woman just now from Sakura Ryuu?" Mingyue fervently asked.
"Yeah, she’s the Young Master of Sakura Ryuu. Why, is there a problem?" Ye Luo looked at Mingyue curiously.
A look of shock flashed across Mingyue’s eyes as she stared at Ye Luo, "You actually slept with the Young Master of Sakura Ryuu! Do you have any idea what Sakura Ryuu is?"
"What? It’s an assassin organization, right?" Ye Luo said, revealing his lack of knowledge about Sakura Ryuu.
"Sakura Ryuu is a very ancient school in the Island Country, with assassination as its purpose. It’s the only one among the many assassination schools that has survived to this day, very powerful. And you, you actually slept with their Young Master—you really are a big pervert!" Mingyue looked at Ye Luo with an odd glint in her eyes.
"So what? No matter how formidable a woman is, she still needs a man, right?" Ye Luo boasted brazenly.
Afterward, Ye Luo and Mingyue returned to their residence and relayed the situation in Ginza to Leng Ruobing.
"Since it’s confirmed now, we need to start planning how to get into the Ginza Tower and destroy their research lab," Leng Ruobing declared seriously.
"The top four floors of Ginza are heavily guarded by many experts and soldiers, and there are plenty of traps. It won’t be easy to break in. I’m probably the only one who can do it," Ye Luo said gravely.
"How do you know all this? You haven’t been up there, have you?" Mingyue asked again.
"Why do you have so many questions? Now is the time to discuss the mission," Ye Luo snapped back, leaving Mingyue steaming with frustration.
"If that’s the case, then let’s not waste time. We act tonight. Mingyue, you’re in charge of cutting off all the electricity and external communication to Ginza Tower, buying us time. I will join Ye Luo to sneak into Ginza Tower and destroy that lab," Leng Ruobing instructed.
"No, you stay outside as backup. I’ll go in alone," Ye Luo quickly objected.
"That will be too dangerous for you," Leng Ruobing immediately responded.
"You going in would be even more dangerous. It will be easier if I go alone. Let’s just decide on that, no more talking," Ye Luo insisted forcefully.
Leng Ruobing looked at Ye Luo, her gaze flickering momentarily before she said nothing more.
And so, they began planning their action for the night.
Time, like flowing water, silently passed by, and nightfall came quickly.
In the daytime, the bustling Ginza Tower became incredibly quiet at night, with only the duty personnel and security patrolling.
Across the street from Ginza Tower, Ye Luo stood dressed in black, a Bluetooth earpiece in his ear, his gaze fixed on the building ahead.
Leng Ruobing stood beside him and whispered, "Be careful, and make sure you’re safe."
"Got it, don’t worry, I won’t have any problems," Ye Luo replied, a smile on his lips as he donned a black mask to avoid exposing his identity and attracting trouble.
"Girl, are you done?" Ye Luo spoke into his Bluetooth headset.
In a room across from Ginza Tower, Mingyue’s hands flew over a computer keyboard and responded, "OK."
Click!
As Mingyue pressed the enter key, the entire Ginza Tower’s power supply was cut off, plunging the entire building into darkness.
Ye Luo’s body burst forth directly.
"What’s going on? Why did the power suddenly go out?"
The security guards outside the building looked at the sudden darkness around them, their expressions somewhat panicked.
At that moment, Ye Luo turned into a shadow that flashed past them in an instant.
"What was that just now?"
"What thing?"
"I clearly saw a shadow pass right in front of my eyes."
"Pssh, Yamada, you’re such a scaredy-cat."
The security guards all laughed and said, while at this time, Ye Luo had already infiltrated the building.
Now inside the building, it was pitch black, but that wasn’t a problem for Ye Luo. His Clairvoyant Eye was no longer just for clairvoyance; it even worked for night vision, allowing him to see clearly in the darkness.
Since the building’s power supply was cut off, naturally, the elevators couldn’t be used, and Ye Luo could only run to the stairwell to begin sprinting up.
On the fourth floor from the top of the building, there was a team consisting of hundreds of soldiers, forming the first line of defense.
An officer said coldly into the walkie-talkie, "Why did the power go out? Switch on the backup power immediately. Everyone, be alert. We must not let any accidents happen."
The distance of hundreds of floors, which might be an unreachable goal for ordinary people—most would likely be exhausted after running up hundreds of flights of stairs—was nothing for Ye Luo, who reached the fourth floor from the top in less than a minute.
Through his Clairvoyant Eye, he had long been aware that there were hundreds of fully-armed soldiers defending this place.
Snap!
Just then, the power in the entire building was restored, and the lights immediately came back on.
"What the hell, Mingyue, what’s going on?"
"The building has a hidden backup power source. I’m figuring out how to cut it off," Mingyue’s voice came through the earpiece, accompanied by the sound of keyboard keys clicking rapidly.
"This girl really isn’t reliable," Ye Luo muttered. Without further thought, he swung his Lingyun Sword and his body burst forth.
"Who’s there!"
Instantly, the soldiers hidden on this floor reacted, picking up their weapons and walking over.
Swoosh!
...
Ye Luo’s figure emerged again, executing Dragon Soaring Nine Heavens, pushing his speed to the limit. His Lingyun Sword became the Grim Reaper’s scythe, constantly reaping the lives of these soldiers from the Island Country.
Although the soldiers from the Island Country were well-trained, they stood no chance against Ye Luo, a supreme expert, and didn’t even get the opportunity to fire their guns.
The commotion here attracted all the soldiers to this location.
Ratatatat...
A series of submachine gun fire sounded, bullets shooting furiously, all of which Ye Luo dodged.
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!
Immediately after, Ye Luo flicked his wrist, and countless Silver Needles shot out, piercing through the soldiers’ bulletproof vests and into their acupoints, making all of them fall to the ground.
