Chapter 119

…………

Above a turquoise lake.

Zhao Xing, wearing Silver Moon armor, looked down at the lake, which was as green as jade.

The calm lake surface had not a ripple.

But beneath the water, there were undercurrents.

At the same time, a hoarse voice, speaking not-so-pure Imperial language, came from underwater into Zhao Xing's ears.

"Kid, this lake is a thousand meters deep."

"And I am a Water-type lord who has comprehended a mid-tier rule."

"I can't do anything to you, and you shouldn't force me."

"Let's stop, break off the battle state, and teleport out normally, how about that?"

Zhao Xing stared at the lake surface, the voice seeming to come from all directions.

This was the Intermediate Zone battlefield.

Zhao Xing was conducting a solo teleportation.

The opponent was only one person, a Water-type lord from the Elemental lineage.

The randomly assigned battlefield environment was this turquoise lake.

The shore of the lake was lush and green, already occupied by plants.

"Intermediate Zone, the rules are different from the Primary Zone."

"Slaying alien lords and forcing the other party to emergency-teleport away both count as points."

The alien lords in the Intermediate Zone mostly fought their way up from the Primary Zone.

They had 'Battle Record Points' similar to points.

Intermediate alien lords fully possessed enough Battle Record Points to offset the 'cannot run' rule and teleport away.

Therefore, the Intermediate Zone did not require students to kill.

Forcing alien lords to use Battle Record Points to escape was the same as killing them for points.

"Most of my plant troops will have their power weakened when facing this lake."

Zhao Xing scanned the entire lake surface: "I can only use it."

At the same time, beneath the lake surface.

Behind a rock.

A middle-aged man covered in scales, resembling a Merman, looked up at the water surface.

"Damn it, I'm unlucky. My eighteen Water Elemental Giants."

"Each one has strength close to the Extraordinary tier."

"But facing this kid, they couldn't even last a round and were killed instantly."

"This is the first time I've seen such a terrifying Plant lord."

The middle-aged man knew very well that Zhao Xing was not to be trifled with.

So he tried once and never dared to take the initiative to attack again.

He honestly hid in this lake, hoping the other party would give up.

"Hiding in the water and controlling a thousand-meter-deep water area is a natural defense."

"Whatever troop it is, its power will be reduced after passing through these layers of water," the middle-aged man thought to himself.

In his inner world, there was also a fairly large lake, completely integrated with this one.

Relying on this move, he had survived many times.

Many students, not wanting to waste time, eventually gave up.

"Wait until he gives up, and I can teleport away normally... Hm?" The middle-aged man was suddenly stunned, looking upward.

"Why has the water turned black?"

He saw the originally clear lake surface rapidly turning black.

A colorful mushroom, umbrella-shaped with what looked like a distorted human face on its surface, floated in the center of the lake.

King-tier troop, Water Demon Mushroom!

Compared to the vast lake, the Water Demon Mushroom was only the size of a head, very inconspicuous.

But with the appearance of the Water Demon Mushroom.

It was like a drop of ink dripping into a cup filled with clear water.

Soon, the lake surface was completely dyed black!

"Hiding, are you? Then let you taste the flavor of poisonous mushrooms!"

Zhao Xing looked at the black lake surface and revealed a cold smile.

Thought that by hiding in the water, he would have no way?

The King-tier Water Demon Mushroom, accelerated by the inner world and buffed by the territory energy tower, was now close to a mature state!

It was known to be able to poison a sea area, and even Extraordinary-tier lifeforms would die upon contact.

What was a small lake with a radius of only seven or eight thousand meters?

Sure enough.

Less than a minute later.

The roaring voice of that lord came from below.

"Stop! What have you done!"

"Stop it!"

In just two seconds, the Elemental lord couldn't hold on anymore.

The second before, he was still trying to use the rule power he had mastered to decompose and push away these toxins.

But the next second, he found it simply wouldn't work.

"Emergency teleport!"

The Elemental lord glared hatefully at the sky, and his figure vanished into the water.

【You forced the enemy to use 'Emergency Teleport' to leave, gaining 100,000 points.】

"Withdraw!"

Zhao Xing's mind moved, and the roots under the Water Demon Mushroom.

Immediately, countless pores opened wide, creating a suction force.

And absorbed the toxins from the entire lake back.

Not long after, the lake surface became clear again.

"An Intermediate Lord, if you could withstand the Water Demon Mushroom, you would have gone to the Advanced Zone long ago," Zhao Xing looked at the points he had obtained and smiled slightly.

Teleporting away normally, Zhao Xing quickly threw himself into the next battle.

…………

Time passed day by day.

In the blink of an eye, Zhao Xing had been in the Intermediate Zone for more than half a month.

During the day, he had always been conducting solo teleportations.

At night, he entered the Virtual World, immersing himself in the explanations of the Plant lord 'Laian'.

Although he didn't conduct team teleportations.

Zhao Xing's speed of earning points was also faster than in the Primary Zone.

At the same time, he could also feel that the rule power in his inner world was constantly being perfected.

His point ranking and his own strength were both growing steadily.

"In another half a month, when the other King-tier lifeforms mature."

"I can consider team teleportation."

In the Intermediate Zone, alien lords were still very strong.

Over the past half month, Zhao Xing had only tried team teleportation once.

He was unwilling to rush in blindly; after all, the strength of enemies in the Primary Zone and Intermediate Zone was completely different.

If he let his troops get injured during team teleportation, it would affect his subsequent progress.

That would be a loss that outweighed the gain.
