Chapter 85

It was as if a 'meteor shower' composed of soul fire had appeared in the sky.

The source toward which all the meteors rushed was precisely the Soul-Devouring Tree!

"Soul-Devouring Tree! It's the Soul-Devouring Tree!"

Eli Ke's face turned pale as he stared blankly at this scene.

He finally understood what the source of the panic he had vaguely felt earlier was.

Eli Ke used soul control, trying his best to pull back the soul fires of 10 bone creatures to stabilize the bone army.

Then, he gave the order in pain.

"Retreat."

"Eli Ke, we can't retreat!" Batu looked at Eli Ke in horror. "If we retreat, who will protect those clansmen without battle achievement points?"

Eli Ke shook his head. "There's no way; if we continue, everyone will die."

"That plant lord has no ability to pursue!"

"When it's time to give up, we must give up."

Eli Ke's expression gradually became cold. "All those who have obtained the permission to flee, retreat!"

Base City No. 10005.

Buzz~

Zhao Xing's figure appeared in his room.

The moment Eli Ke ordered the retreat, the battle ended.

The extraordinary bone creatures had suffered heavy losses, and he couldn't help those clansmen who had no battle achievement points and hadn't completed the mission to survive.

He could only take the clansmen who were able to leave.

The remaining undead lords, after their suicide attacks, also fell one after another before the Soul-Devouring Tree and the Golden Sunflower.

"Although cruel, this is racial war."

"Weak races, when caught into the Primordial Realm and used as our whetstone, that is their fate."

"If one day the Empire is conquered by others, our fate won't be any better."

"Only by becoming stronger, and having the entire race become powerful, can we avoid such things from happening!"

Zhao Xing recalled the scene of those undead lords' resentment and cursing before they died, and shook his head.

He collected his thoughts and opened his smart brain.

"I wonder how many points I earned this time?"

Zhao Xing opened the leaderboard with anticipation.
