The leaves landed precisely on the PurpleGoldLight of its shell, producing a "sizzle" sound; although they caused no real damage, they successfully drew its attention.

"Sss—!" the Axe Mantis let out a sharp screech, its red eyes locking onto Leafeon, swinging its massive axe‑shaped forelimbs and lunging at it.

"Now! Cyndaquil!" Huo La shouted loudly.

Cyndaquil had already circled to the Axe Mantis's rear; the flame on its tail flared wildly, and as it leapt, fierce fire erupted around it, instantly forming a rotating wall of fire that firmly blocked the Axe Mantis's retreat.

"Boom!" the Flame Vortex contracted sharply, enveloping the Axe Mantis, the scorching heat searing its shell and forcing a painful screech.

"Claw-tail Scorpion, attack!" Huo La ordered. The Claw-tail Scorpion used the heat wave from the Flame Vortex as cover, darting out like a shadow; its tail claw snapped violently, the black toxic energy turning into a fine poison mist that sprayed fiercely at the Axe Mantis's chest.

Flames wrapped the toxin, exploding around it into a foul‑smelling wall of fire; around the perimeter, Leafeon's Magic Leaf rained down like a sudden downpour, momentarily trapping the Axe Mantis King in place, its claws flailing yet unable to break free at all.

"Well done, Huo La, just like that—keep draining its stamina and energy!" Dr. Laventon raised his Detector, his voice full of excitement; beside him, Ju Yi, Field Master, also watched the battle in the arena.

Huo La caught a glimpse of Ju Yi out of the corner of his eye and immediately called out: "Ju Yi, Field Master, can you send your Ivory Boar to help? More firepower means a better chance of victory!"

Ju Yi shook his head helplessly, his tone full of regret: "I'm sorry, Huo La. When the Axe Mantis went into a rage, the whole herd went out of control; my Pokémon were badly wounded while suppressing them, and now only one Goomy remains able to fight... but Goomy's strength is far too weak to be of much help."

"Zzz—" the water and grass energies exploded, the Axe Mantis let out a painful screech, the Sword Dance's white light dimmed abruptly, the attack boost was interrupted, and the PurpleGoldLight on its body surged violently, clearly the impact was significant.

"Effective!" Dr. Laventon's Detector emitted a rapid beeping, the energy curve on the screen finally flattening, "Abnormal Energy is rapidly dissipating!"

Within the arena, the Axe Mantis's crimson eyes faded at a visible speed, and the light that had covered its shell receded like a tide.

It shook its heavy head violently, emitting a wail mingled with pain and relief; its massive body could no longer support itself, and with a "thud" it collapsed to the ground, its sharp axe‑shaped forelimbs braced the earth, breathing heavily, its chest rising and falling, each breath a coarse rush of air.
