Chapter 377: Anomaly!
"Now!" Huo La's eyes narrowed, seizing the perfect moment, he sharply lifted his wrist and, with practiced skill, tossed the Origin Ball.
The Origin Ball arced, precisely hitting the Kira Dena bound by Chain, its massive form flashing with Red light as it was instantly drawn into the Origin Ball.
The Origin Ball landed on the Floating Island and began shaking violently, a faint black halo appearing on its surface, clearly showing the Kira Dena desperately struggling inside, trying to break free.
Huo La stared intently at the shaking Origin Ball, his expression tense, able only to watch fixedly, praying silently.
At that moment, a surge of Interdimensional Energy erupted within Huo La, beyond his control, instantly sweeping his body, lifting him slowly upward toward the trembling Origin Ball.
Eventually, his palm, uncontrolled, pressed against the surface of the Origin Ball.
As his palm fell, the Origin Ball's shaking stopped instantly, and the black halo gradually faded.
Huo La's eyes now glowed with dazzling PurpleGoldLight, the Interdimensional Energy around him still raging wildly, his body drenched in sweat, his complexion turning somewhat pale.
His transformation was too sudden, too fast; the Deochi Xis beside him hadn't time to react, and even the three Pokémon Ke Xi, Ai Mu Li Duo, and Ya Ke Nuo Mu were stunned, their eyes full of surprise, momentarily forgetting how to act.
Deochi Xis, seeing Huo La clutch the Origin Ball tightly, grew increasingly solemn, and his figure shifted, ready to instant‑teleport beside him.
But at that instant, the Interdimensional Energy that had just pulled Huo La toward the Origin Ball erupted again, the surging energy rapidly converging around him, forming a crystal‑clear light grid that tightly enveloped him.
Within the light grid, Huo La clutched the Origin Ball tightly, his knuckles whitening from the strain, his face wracked with pain, his body trembling incessantly, a suppressed roar spilling from his throat, clearly enduring a tearing agony.
The three Pokémon Ke Xi, Ai Mu Li Duo, and Ya Ke Nuo Mu beside him exchanged glances with Deochi Xis, their eyes filled with anxiety and gravity.
This Interdimensional Energy was too powerful, especially within this Destroyed World, its fluctuations growing ever more violent; even they could scarcely breach the light grid's barrier, forced to watch from outside, unable to approach to lend aid.
Huo La now felt his body as if being endlessly torn and reassembled by an invisible force, every inch of skin and every bone screaming in pain, the bone‑deep ache nearly causing him to faint.
With his tiny human frame, he could not resist this mighty Interdimensional Energy; he could only endure with all his might, having no means of resistance, clenching his teeth and refusing to release the Origin Ball.
The system that had lain dormant inside Huo La suddenly awakened, dazzling lights flashing around it, countless vague images flickering rapidly before Huo La's eyes, moving too fast for him to grasp.
After a moment, the system gradually dimmed its light, becoming a vague presence shrouded in a brilliant halo, emitting no sound, and silently vanished before Huo La.
Simultaneously, a burst of intense light erupted from Huo La's chest, a light sphere imbued with great power slowly spilling from his core, hovering in midair, emitting a faint halo.
The moment the light sphere appeared, it drifted toward Ke Xi, Ai Mu Li Duo, Ya Ke Nuo Mu, and Deochi Xis, then split into four slender light‑formed tendrils, each reaching for one of the Pokémon.
Ke Xi, Ai Mu Li Duo, and Ya Ke Nuo Mu remained motionless for a moment, allowing the light tendrils to lift them and slowly draw them into the light sphere.
Only Deochi Xis, sensing a hint of abnormality the instant the light sphere appeared, immediately activated its Psychic power, preparing to instant‑teleport.
Almost as the light tendrils struck, it had already instant‑teleported beside Huo La, without hesitation, diving straight into the Master Ball at Huo La's waist, temporarily hiding.
"Quick, use the Kira Dena's power to get out of here!" Deochi Xis's voice rang urgently in Huo La's mind, its tone full of haste, "If we wait any longer, it'll be too late!"
Huo La endured the excruciating pain, and upon hearing Deochi Xis's warning, immediately pressed the Origin Ball with all his strength.
As a resentful roar from the Kira Dena echoed from within the Origin Ball, a faintly glowing spatial corridor materialized beside him—exactly the passage to Hisui.
Deochi Xis activated instant‑teleportation within the Master Ball, enveloping Huo La, and together they surged into the corridor, vanishing from this shattered Destroyed World.
Watching Huo La's figure vanish completely at the corridor's end, the hovering light sphere gradually dimmed, and a wholly white silhouette slowly emerged, though it now seemed ethereal and vague, its exact form indistinct, standing silently in the void, gazing toward the direction where the corridor disappeared.
On the other side, Ming Yao and Xiao Zhao dismissed the visiting Gangshi and Zhubei, and in a corner of the tent a faint glimmer suddenly arose, a familiar spacetime rift materializing, rippling with a faint sheen, identical to the rift that appeared when Huo La vanished.
Ming Yao and Xiao Zhao were both slightly stunned, not yet reacting, when a figure staggered out of the rift and fell heavily onto the ground.
Immediately after, the spacetime rift slowly contracted and vanished, as if it had never appeared.
Ming Yao and Xiao Zhao snapped back to their senses, hearts tightening, and hurried to the figure's side—Huo La.
He now resembled a drenched chicken, his body soaked in sweat, hair clinging wetly to his forehead, his complexion as pale as paper, a hint of fatigue at the corners of his mouth, his entire strength seemingly spent.
Ming Yao and Xiao Zhao quickly reached out, carefully helping Huo La to his feet, their tones full of urgency and concern: "Huo La! How are you? Are you okay?"
Huo La leaned on the two, laboriously raising his right hand that had been clenched, his palm still gripping the Origin Ball, his voice weak and trembling: "I... I succeeded!"
The moment the words left his mouth, he could no longer support himself; his head tilted and he fell into a complete blackout, and even in his unconsciousness, the Origin Ball in his hand remained tightly gripped.
