Chapter 388: Hisui Secrets
Thus, it used Time and Space as its foundation and created Dialga and Palkia.
Regigigas's voice carried an ancient weight; as soon as it finished, Arceus within the light screen suddenly burst into myriad holy rays, fierce yet not blinding, turning the vast empty universe into a warm golden hue.
Under the glow, the swirling stardust around them suddenly halted, as if Time had been paused, falling into absolute stillness; at the same time, the space before Arceus began to twist violently, folding and rippling in layers.
Within the frozen Time, a blue light and shadow slowly coalesced and took shape, surrounded by a faint Time Aura; Dialga's figure gradually became clear, its head held high, exuding an inherent authority over time.
Within the twisted Rift, a pink‑white figure forcefully broke free of its bonds, riding a surge of spatial waves; it was Palkia, its surrounding aura swirling as if one could glimpse the seams of space.
"With the aid of the Time‑Space Dual Gods, Arceus made a decision—to create a world, granting this lonely universe life and warmth; this is the beginning that allows all living beings to exist,"
As Regigigas narrated, the light screen shifted again:
Arceus stood at the center, with Dialga and Palkia on either side; their energies intertwined and converged, forming countless streams of light that, behind them, coalesced into worlds of varied shapes, like countless stars drifting slowly, rotating and bobbing through the universe—tranquil and magnificent.
"The world we now inhabit is the first world Arceus created, the source of all worlds,"
As the words fell, the scene on the light screen zoomed in instantly, showing Arceus and the Time‑Space Dual Gods together appearing on a barren planet.
This was the primordial Pokemon World: no mountains, no flora, no living beings, only a desolate expanse, the ground cracked, the sky dim, utterly lifeless.
Three divine‑rank Pokemon circled the barren world, flying slowly as their energies continuously poured out, merging into the land.
As Time flowed, the scene on the light screen gradually changed: the cracked earth slowly healed, rolling mountains rose from the ground, winding rivers cut across the sky, vast oceans took shape, the terrain became orderly, and the outlines of all life began to appear.
Immediately after, the view focused on the summit of the world.
On that towering peak that pierced the clouds, the rock at its apex gradually glimmered; a faint breath of life quietly emerged, growing stronger, until the entire mountain's outline twisted and coalesced into a massive, solemn Pokemon—Regigigas.
"This is my birth," Regigigas's voice carried an unusual hint of softness and melancholy, "I am the first Pokemon born in this world, the embodiment of mountains and land, the first life that Arceus bestowed upon this world."
Huo La's pupils contracted sharply, his gaze filled with shock.
Although he had long known that there were multiple Pokemon worlds and had heard creation legends, seeing Regigigas's birth with his own eyes—and learning that this Pokemon was the world's first—still struck him with a crushing shock, his heart roiling like stormy seas.
Beside him, Xiao Zhao, Shan Kui, and Bin Lian were already aghast, mouths agape, eyes wide as saucers, even their breathing seemed to halt.
In their understanding, Regigigas was already a legendary being, but they never imagined it possessed such an ancient, sacred origin, being the world's first life; the impact left them momentarily speechless.
Within the light screen, Time continued to flow.
After Regigigas's birth, the world's vitality grew richer; soon, three Pokemon—Ke Xi, Ai Mu Li Duo, and Ya Ke Nuo Mu—were born in succession, each governing Will, Emotion, and Knowledge, spreading the breath of life to every corner of the world.
Gradually, vegetation sprouted, beings multiplied, Pokemon inhabited and grew upon the land, and the world became ever more beautiful, brimming with life and vigor.
These peaceful days lingered an unknown length before the light screen shifted again: Arceus, Dialga, and Palkia stood side by side atop the world, each emitting a gentle glow and leaving behind a duplicate of themselves to guard this nascent world.
Then, the three figures transformed into streams of light, soaring straight into the heavens, gradually vanishing into the depths of the universe, leaving the land they had created.
Time passed, years turned, and the light screen flickered rapidly, from the birth of all things to the proliferation of life, from the shaping of mountains to the sprouting of civilization; finally, the scene froze on an ancient era—the age of the Xicui Hero's birth.
In those years, people lived peacefully and prosperously, their cooking smoke curling in harmonious serenity;
Pokemon rested freely, in forests and beside streams, their playful silhouettes everywhere; the entire Hisui land was soaked in peace and vitality, even the wind carried a gentle breath.
But this tranquility was ultimately shattered by a sudden cataclysm.
One day, the clear blue sky abruptly split open without warning, a massive Rift yawning, black as ink, bearing a raging, chilling aura like the gaping maw of a colossal beast, sending shivers down the spine.
In the next instant, a massive figure surged out of the Rift—Origin Forme Giratina, its gray, black, and red scales layered densely, glinting with a cold sheen, surrounded by thick ghost and Dragon-type Energy, its malice overwhelming.
Giratina, upon appearing, immediately lost control, recklessly unleashing its inner fury; claws slashed, gale roared, mountains trembled, and the ground cracked.
For a moment, Hisui was engulfed in terror; endless black mist spread from its body, devouring sunlight and shrouding the sky. The once vibrant land grew barren and cold, people fled in panic, Pokemon hid everywhere, wails and cries intertwined, breaking the former tranquility.
At that critical moment, two dazzling beams of light suddenly sliced the blackened heavens—the avatars of Dialga and Palkia, descending following the cataclysm's aura.
Dialga and Palkia stood side by side, blocking Giratina, their holy energies forming a stark contrast against Giratina's cold malice.
Without further words, battle erupted instantly.
The forces of Time and Space intertwined and collided, smashing into Giratina's raging energy; a thunderous roar shook heaven and earth, mountains shifted, rivers changed course, and the entire Hisui quivered violently.
Initially, Dialga and Palkia combined their might, their seamless coordination of Space-Time Power forcibly suppressing Giratina's malice; ultimately, they exhausted themselves to drive it back into the celestial Rift, and the black mist between heaven and earth gradually faded.
With the crisis temporarily averted, people emerged from hiding, Pokemon appeared as well, cheers and relief echoing across Hisui, everyone celebrating the hard‑won victory, believing the cataclysm had ended.
But no one expected that this joy would last only a moment.
After repelling Giratina, the avatars of Dialga and Palkia suddenly erupted into a fierce clash for unknown reasons.
Without warning or probing, the two turned against each other instantly; Power of Time and Spatial Power no longer stood side by side, but collided and tore apart, fiercer and more brutal than their prior battle with Giratina.
The aftershocks of the Space-Time collision swept across Hisui, the ground cracking ever more severely, peaks collapsing, floods raging; the land, which had just regained a hint of life, fell once again into deeper peril, even more terrifying than Giratina's cataclysm.
