Chapter 431: Secret Meeting
Inside a hidden QuanXiTouYingHuiYiShi, the light was dim and a cold Intimidation filled the air.
Spinel, Sakaki, Chi Ri, Ghetsis, Lysandre, and Zha'aobo—six of them—gathered here as holographic projections, each with a different expression, all exuding the unique arrogance and malice of villains.
Zha'aobo glanced at the two empty projection slots beside the conference table, sneered, and said with a hint of contempt, "Heh, Shui Wu Tong and Chi Yan Song didn't show up again."
Ghetsis immediately replied, his tone laced with impatience and cruelty: "As I see it, let's just team up and send those two back home! Day after day of fighting, endless, just a waste of time."
"Then go ahead," Lysandre shot a sideways glance at Ghetsis, his voice full of mockery, "I want to see if, with your strength, you can handle those two lunatics."
As soon as the two finished speaking, the silent Sakaki finally spoke, his expression as cold as ice, his voice low and authoritative: "Enough, shut up and get to business."
With Sakaki's voice, the previously noisy room fell silent in an instant, everyone's gaze fixed on him— even as a hologram, Sakaki's aura was enough to dominate the room.
Sakaki lifted his eyes, his gaze landing on Chi Ri, and said lightly, "Chi Ri, you speak."
Chi Ri let out a cold snort, his face full of aloofness, yet he did not shirk, his tone tinged with displeasure: "Sakaki, this is still your fault— the one you sent away earlier has returned."
"The one we sent away?" Ghetsis's eyes flashed with doubt, his gaze shifting to Sakaki. After a moment's contemplation, he suddenly realized, "You mean Huo La?"
"Speaking of Huo La, Sakaki, shouldn't you give me an explanation?" Zha'aobo leaned forward slightly, his tone instantly turning grim, a hint of malice flashing in his eyes, "You borrowed the NekoLuoZiMa from me before, saying it was under that lord's orders, and you wouldn't reveal a single word more. Now it seems you borrowed the NekoLuoZiMa simply to send that guy Huo La into the past, right?"
He paused, his tone adding a touch of inquiry and malice: "To gather us, beings from different worlds, together—if you say we lack the ability to traverse Time and Space, even ghosts wouldn't believe it."
"I'm actually very curious," Zha'aobo stared intently at Sakaki's projection, word for word, "Since you have such a Time‑and‑Space‑traversing ability, why did you specifically ask me for the NekoLuoZiMa? Unless… that lord is inconvenient to act personally."
Sakaki's gaze instantly chilled, his voice as heavy as ice, bearing an Intimidation that left no room for reply: "Zha'aobo, you're asking too much."
"Hah, what's with the act of mystery." Zha'aobo sneered, unfazed, his tone even more provocative, "Besides when you first brought us across, I vaguely saw that being's face, but after all this time, I haven't seen even a shadow of it again."
"All the commands, they were all transmitted by you on its behalf; now I'm beginning to doubt whether it even still exists in this world."
He swept his gaze over everyone's projections, his tone tinged with amusement and the thrill of exposing truth: "You might as well ask the people here—did they choose to stay in this corner and obey your orders willingly, or because they fear that existence will punish their dissent?"
"After all, the Creator God's mighty power is not something we can resist or even imagine."
Those words rang like thunder, exploding instantly throughout the conference room.
Sakaki's gaze grew ever gloomier, the hostile aura around him nearly spilling over; he slammed his hand down on the table, causing the surface to tremble, and bellowed, "Enough!"
The others' expressions shifted—some raised eyebrows, some lowered their gaze, some lingered in thought—but none showed the slightest fear of Sakaki's sudden anger.
Zha'aobo's words merely pierced the long‑hidden secret thoughts each of them harbored.
The identity of that being, for these veterans who had already touched the world's pinnacle and weathered countless storms, was hardly a secret at all.
None of them truly submitted; they only feared the Creator God's power and temporarily restrained their edge.
Sakaki suppressed the hostility in his heart, his gaze like an ice blade scanning the room, and said coldly, "Zha'aobo, since you insist on clarifying, I'll be blunt—yes, that one is indeed the Creator God A Er Zhou Si. The order to send Huo La to the past came directly from it, and it has nothing to do with me."
His voice paused briefly, his gaze lingering a moment on Chi Ri's and Spinel's projections: "Now that Huo La has returned, A Er Zhou Si has no further orders. How you deal with him is up to you. Besides, I can give you a tip—I haven't been in contact with that one for a long time, so …"
He didn't finish his sentence, deliberately leaving a pause.
All present were deep‑thinking villains; without needing to say it, each understood—A Er Zhou Si might already be gone, or powerless to intervene, so they no longer needed to be restrained as before, and could act according to their own wishes.
When his words ended, Sakaki's holographic projection vanished instantly, exiting the conference room.
In reality, Sakaki sat in a secret room at the Rocket Team Headquarters, his expression still icy, and turned to the bowed Secretary Zhen Niao beside him, his tone devoid of warmth: "How's the control of Mewtwo progressing?"
Zhen Niao immediately pulled up the detailed data on her tablet, lowered her eyes and replied respectfully, "According to the current schedule, it will still take three months at the fastest for Natsume to achieve full mental synchronization with Mewtwo and completely master its power."
"Three months? Too long." Sakaki furrowed his brows, his tone full of impatience, his fingertips lightly tapping the tabletop, the Intimidation around him growing heavier.
Zhen Niao dared not look up, her tone still steady: "This is already the limit. Natsume's mental synchronization with Mewtwo must progress gradually; if forced to accelerate, the mental load would be too great, and Natsume could collapse mentally."
"Hmph." Sakaki let out a cold snort, his face still grim, but he knew Zhen Niao was speaking truthfully, so he didn't press further and asked, "That guy, is he still hiding in the League?"
"Yes." Zhen Niao nodded, her tone pausing slightly before adding, "According to the intel from our informant inside the League, he's been holed up in his own room, rarely showing himself. But …"
"But what?" Sakaki's tone deepened, his voice sharp, a flash of impatience in his eyes.
"Musashi, Kojiro, and the Meow Meow trio have already left the League, their whereabouts now unknown."
"Those three uselesss, they accomplish nothing and cause trouble," Sakaki said with disdain, waving his hand, "Ignore them; they won't stir any waves."
He paused briefly, then asked, "What about Bi Xia Si's side, how's the arrangement progressing?"
"Everything has been arranged." Zhen Niao replied immediately, "According to the adult's plan, we're just waiting for Fu Lin Duo to successfully draw out Lokia; if Liu Bo dares to intervene, Bi Xia Si will immediately activate the backup plan."
"Mm." Sakaki gave a slight nod, his tone icy and resolute, "Notify Fu Lin Duo and Bi Xia Si to speed up; there must be no mistakes!"
