Chapter 537: Surrender
The battle turned in an instant, crushing the arena into suffocation.
Chi Yan Song, wearing glasses, slowly lifted his hand to push his lenses; the solemnity that had been on his face vanished completely, leaving only a scornful sneer.
"Surrender, hand over the Space-Time Trio."
His tone was calm yet dripping with condescension, "A mere little brat, brandishing three Space-Time Divine Beasts to swagger everywhere. You really think this place is a playground for those idiots to let you run amok?"
Facing the combined onslaught of four people and four gods, Huo La still stood steadily atop Rayquaza, upright and unflustered. Even as Dialga and Palkia both fell into the sea in defeat, he remained composed.
He lifted his gaze to scan the four, his tone tinged with playful curiosity: "What exactly is the relationship among the four of you? Clearly two teams, yet you appear unusually harmonious, coordinating flawlessly."
"Harmony?"
Four distinctly different voices rang out simultaneously, followed by four synchronized scoffs, brimming with contempt and mockery.
"Huo La kid, stay out of other people's business," one Shui Wu Tong said coldly. "Now think carefully whether to surrender. Otherwise…"
"Otherwise what?" Huo La raised an eyebrow slightly, his expression calm.
The speaking Shui Wu Tong's eyes suddenly turned cold, his murderous intent laid bare: "Otherwise, we will let you and the Space-Time Trio die together in this sea."
"Sakaki, that fool, whatever he schemed, actually sent you back, letting you return with three Space-Time Divine Beasts to stir up trouble. But we are not like him; we will give you no chance to grow or turn the tide."
Huo La watched him quietly, instantly understanding.
The Shui Wu Tong before him was the same one he had previously sparred with.
As for the Chi Yan Song beside him, he was most likely another Chi Yan Song from a different world.
"Fine, since you're willing to give me a chance, I'll naturally make the most of it."
Huo La's mouth twitched upward, then he snapped his carefree expression, shouting, "Dragonite!"
Far out on the roiling sea, the surface was suddenly split by a massive force, a huge golden figure cutting through the waves at breakneck speed, instantly charging into the center of the battlefield.
It was the Super Ancient Dragonite.
The battlefield sky, previously shrouded in continuous drizzle and mist, suddenly surged with Thunder Light; dense thunderclouds converged, and violet‑golden lightning tore the dim heavens, crashing down like divine punishment, striking precisely at the four Divine Beasts below!
Kyogre, Primal Kyogre, Groudon, and Primal Groudon—four Super Ancient Divine Beasts—were instantly enveloped by sky‑wide thunder, the raging electric force battering their bodies, forcing their attacks to stall and their forms to stiffen.
Seizing the moment of the opponent's chaotic formation, Dialga and Palkia, which had originally plunged into the sea, erupted simultaneously!
Two massive divine‑beast bodies burst from the water, time currents and spatial turbulence on either side, launching a fierce assault on the now‑restricted Groudon and Kyogre, entangling them tightly.
Huo La raised his hand and grasped; a Jade instantly appeared in his palm.
The Jade's radiance flared suddenly, pouring brilliant golden light that steadily enveloped the Rayquaza beneath him.
Buzz—!
The pitch‑black dimensional power erupted to its limit, Rayquaza's form instantly metamorphosed, becoming ever more majestic and massive, its aura surging severalfold—Origin Evolution!
The Origin Forme Rayquaza hovered aloft, its might no less than that of Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon.
Above the ruins, the glasses‑free other‑world Chi Yan Song watched with a cold gaze, a mocking curl at the corner of his mouth, calmly saying, "Relying on a Super Ancient Dragonite and an Origin Rayquaza, you think you can turn the tide? How naive."
Chi Yan Song was utterly certain in his heart.
He knew all too well the price of Origin Evolution. Such an ultimate transformation never drains the Pokemon's power, but the life force of the Trainer wielding the Jade.
Even with Rayquaza voluntarily sharing the burden, this overdrawn depletion of the source is far beyond what an ordinary human can endure for long.
In his assessment, summoning an Origin Rayquaza already represented Huo La's absolute limit.
Dialga and Palkia had no chance of entering Origin Forme again; their current struggle was merely a dying resistance.
But a moment later, Huo La's detached voice rang out again.
"I never said I only have them," he replied.
As the words faded, Huo La flipped his hand, and another Pokeball materialized in his palm.
This Pokeball differed entirely from any ball on the market; its design was archaic and hefty, the surface scarred by ages, exuding an aura of ancient antiquity that belonged to no creation of the present era.
It was an Ancient Spirit Ball.
Huo La inhaled deeply, leapt straight down from the top of the Origin Rayquaza.
The Rayquaza beneath him flickered, charging straight into the chaotic battlefield.
Throughout, Huo La's gaze remained fixed on the antiquated Ancient Spirit Ball in his hand.
The being inside was one of his biggest trump cards this time, but whether it would act depended entirely on its mood.
Huo La also prepared for the worst in his mind.
If this master steadfastly refused to act, he would have to resort to Necrozma.
Without further hesitation, Huo La tossed the Pokeball, his voice deep, "Rayquaza, come out."
The Ancient Spirit Ball flew out, landing heavily on the water‑logged ground.
But the expected burst of light and earth‑shaking roar never materialized.
The Pokeball merely wobbled lightly in place twice, then fell completely silent, showing no sign of reaction.
The scene instantly fell into an awkward dead silence.
Seeing this, the Shui Wu Tong at the battlefield's center burst into uncontrollable laughter, his tone dripping with mockery: "Hahaha! Kid, you're here to be a joke? At the crucial moment you won't even let your own Pokemon help you, and you call for Rayquaza? I think you're dreaming!"
The other three also sneered, their contempt deepening further.
Huo La stared at the motionless Pokeball, his face full of helplessness.
"Damn, this master is resolutely refusing to give me any face today."
He lifted his hand toward his waist, ready to draw the Pokeball containing Necrozma.
But just as his fingertip was about to touch the Pokeball, the dormant Ancient Spirit Ball on the ground suddenly shook violently!
The shaking grew larger, the ball's ancient patterns gradually glowing with a faint green light.
Simultaneously, the already torrential Hoenn sky suddenly grew even more ferocious.
Boom—!
Deafening thunder roared across the heavens, massive bolts of lightning slashing through the rain, crazily tearing the clouds.
Not only the weather is changing; the light across the whole Hoenn region is fading rapidly.
Daylight vanishes in an instant, the heavens darken swiftly, black clouds press down, a pitch‑black canopy shrouds the entire sea and the ruined town, as if The Whole World were at this moment utterly silent and overturned.
A pressure that towers above Groudon and Kyogre slowly awakens and ascends from the Pokeball, then slowly spreads across the entire battlefield.
