Chapter 174

"Damn it, these rats can really run......"

A man with a decent appearance, wearing a police uniform, slapped the table in anger.

"Captain Wang, the Nova organization members secretly released by the Deputy Chief have now completely shaken off the pursuit troops and entered Viridian Forest."

"Do we need to notify Lord Miao Yin?"

Although Captain Wang's deputy also had unwillingness in his heart, he still calmly put forward his opinion.

"That's the only way...... We were careless this time."

Captain Wang's expression was slightly decadent; who could have thought that the originally foolproof encirclement plan would have omissions because there was a traitor inside their Alliance Police, and this traitor was the Deputy Chief, leading to some fish slipping through the net and successfully entering Viridian Forest.

Sure enough...... are these guys planning to anger the Heavenly King-level wild Pokémon in Viridian Forest to attack the city?

There was no time for self-pity; after closing his eyes for a while, Wang Junjie got up, put on his hat, and prepared to go to the office of the commander-in-chief, Miao Yin, to explain the current situation.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Please come in."

"Commander-in-Chief Yin, I have something to report regarding this encirclement plan."

It seems it's not good news......

According to Wang Junjie's expression, Miao Yin guessed that the originally perfect plan should have had loopholes.

Crossing his fingers under his chin, Miao Yin put on a listening look and said, "Speak."

"Has the police been infiltrated by them...... immediately prepare to conduct stricter screening procedures among public officials."

"And...... it looks like they intend to lure Heavenly King-level wild Pokémon to attack the city; leave the safety of the city to me."

"Received!"

Miao Yin was in a very bad mood; he recognized this "betraying" Deputy Chief, and according to the character and experience he knew of this person, it didn't seem like he would choose to betray the country.

"Also, let the doctors in the hospital check if Old Xu has been mentally manipulated."

"Yes!"

"Hoo——"

Taking a long breath, he can no longer be as willful as he was when he was young; several cities near Viridian Forest are within his defense range, and he cannot easily move to enter the forest to pursue the remnants of the Nova organization.

This operation, which strives to hide from all eyes outside, must be covert; it can only be guarded by him in part of the city, and that somewhat unserious female Gym Leader guards the other part.

Midnight.

"Hehe, it seems those idiots in the Shenzhou Alliance must think our people went to lure Heavenly King-level wild Pokémon to attack the city!" The small man in a hood said with a sneer, seemingly very proud that the three of them had fooled the Alliance.

"Mekawa Naiku, the mission is not yet completed, straighten out your attitude!" The man with a hoarse voice warned Mekawa Naiku with a warning attitude, looking at the silent man on the side with some fear.

The two of them were minions recruited by the Nova organization from various alliances, responsible for charging into battle and completing tasks issued by the organization.

Mekawa Naiku is from the Sakura Alliance, and he himself, Harrington, is from the Beautiful Alliance.
