Chapter 178: The Morning Interception Battle

Tyranitar, a Pokémon resembling Godzilla.

A moving sandstorm, a terrifying existence that can trigger an earthquake just by lifting its foot.

Originally, such a powerful pseudo-legendary should live in the depths of mountains, mines, or deserts.

No one knows where this Elite-level Tyranitar in Viridian Forest came from, or why it chose to settle in the forest.

However, Shenzhou Alliance observation intelligence shows that its relationship with another Elite-level Hydreigon is very poor, and they often clash in Viridian Forest.

Hydreigon, a Pokémon resembling King Ghidorah.

Its temperament is fierce, and it holds an indiscriminate attacking attitude toward all living things around it.

But even if Pokémon are of similar species, their personalities are ever-changing.

Miraculously, this Hydreigon did not harm the other wild Pokémon within its territory.

According to recent data monitoring, this Elite-level Hydreigon seems to have laid an egg recently, and the partner is that Haxorus.

Accompanied by earth-shaking vibrations, some of the Elite-level overlords in Viridian Forest began to attack the cities closest to them.

The vital signs of the remnants of the Nova Organization who escaped have completely vanished. Miao Yin does not know what method they used to provoke six Elite-level wild Pokémon at once.

But as long as he is here, these wild Pokémon will never be able to break through the forest's outer defense line to attack the city!

There are four Elite-level Pokémon attacking the city behind him; they must have been specifically lured here by that group of villains.

Viridian Forest, the world's largest forest, which has existed for who knows how long.

Within it lies a vast, boundless sea of green, where countless trees grow, change, and intertwine with one another.

The morning sunlight filters through the lush branches, illuminating Viridian Forest like a sea of golden trees.

In contrast to such beautiful and magnificent scenery, powerful seismic waves continuously ripple out from the depths of the forest.

Accompanied by violent roars and the sound of trees collapsing.

An overlord that destroyed countless trees just by moving forward appeared in the eyes of the scouts stationed at the outer defense line of Viridian Forest.

"Commander-in-Chief, the Elite-level overlord Tyranitar is approaching. Do we need to form a legion formation to intercept!?"

"No need. Report the positions of those flying Elite-level overlords!"

Miao Yin can handle Tyranitar with his own trump cards; the important ones are those that can fly.

"Pidgeot and Orbeetle are far from here, so even with their fast travel speed, they will arrive later than Tyranitar."

"Hydreigon and Haxorus are heading toward Viridian City."

Without a moment's hesitation, Miao Yin waved his hand and issued an order: "Notify Fairy Gym Leader Li Qingyi, who is stationed at the Viridian City defense line. Two Dragon-type Elite-level overlords are heading her way."

"Received!"

"And what about that Giant Venusaur? It wouldn't be lagging behind because of its slow movement, would it?"

Miao Yin frowned. According to Alliance intelligence, this Venusaur is very skilled at manipulating plants and can be nearly as powerful as a Champion-level Pokémon when fighting in Viridian Forest.

To be honest, the other Elite-level Pokémon are easy for him to deal with, except for that Venusaur fighting on its home turf.

Intelligence shows that the Venusaur can simultaneously manipulate countless tree roots to form large-scale, super-powerful attacks, which is very troublesome.

His main team consists of Pokémon that lean toward individual combat; after all, his battle style is to utilize martial arts techniques for close combat.

His Pokémon can rely on their footwork to ensure they aren't hit by those massive amounts of hardened plants, but there are others at the defense line.

The safest method is to use a legion formation to stall Venusaur's plants, and then have his Pokémon go deep inside to defeat it.

After receiving the reply on his headset, the messenger said with a strange expression: "Venusaur's movement is too slow. It is expected to arrive at this defense line half an hour later than Tyranitar, Pidgeot, and Orbeetle."

"......"

Although speechless, Miao Yin quickly made combat deployments: "I will intercept Tyranitar and Orbeetle."

"Everyone else, follow the Alliance's training methods

and form a legion formation to stall Pidgeot."

"I will quickly resolve Tyranitar and Orbeetle. You only need to stall them; try your best to avoid casualties among people and Pokémon!"

Every Elite-level Pokémon, even a Bug-type Pokémon that is naturally physically weak.

Its stamina and energy reserves are not something that will be exhausted in a short time. ===== CHAPTER 179 =====
