Chapter 26: Scyther

During the journey, Su Hao and Litten defeated several wild Pokémon one after another.

The strength of the Pokémon on the outskirts of the forest was mostly around level ten, and there was no need for Carbink to take action at all.

After defeating many wild Pokémon in succession, Litten's level also reached 8.

Pokémon: 【Litten】

Type: 【Fire】

Gender: 【♂】

Ability: 【Intimidate】

Level: 【8】

Moves: 【Scratch, Ember, Growl, Fake Out, Heat Wave, Nasty Plot, Revenge, Lick, Roar, Fury Swipes】

Litten's battles occupied the upper hand from the moment it released the Intimidate ability. Often, wild Pokémon would be frantically outputted by the flexible and agile Litten after being stiffened, and finally, even if they held on, they would be cleaned up in three or two strokes by Litten, who was in perfect condition.

Litten's experience had accumulated enough, so Su Hao put Litten away and decided to move toward the interior of the forest to find Normal-level Pokémon for Carbink to practice on.

Soon, after Su Hao deliberately skipped the low-level Pokémon, the exploration speed accelerated a lot. After walking into the interior of the forest, wild Pokémon suitable as opponents appeared.

This Pokémon was very cunning, following Su Hao and Carbink silently, looking for an opportunity to strike.

This was a Liepard that had stayed at the late Normal level for a long time.

If Su Hao didn't have Aura power, then Liepard might have succeeded in its sneak attack.

However, from the moment Liepard stepped into the detection range of Aura power, this sneak attack was destined to fail.

After communicating with Carbink through telepathy, Su Hao deliberately revealed a flaw.

Sure enough, Liepard, who had been waiting for a long time and couldn't find an opportunity, found the flaw. The muscles on its streamlined body tightened instantly, and its limbs covered with yellow fur flickered and moved, soon appearing silently behind Su Hao.

Liepard raised its right claw, and its sharp claws were gradually covered with purple-black energy; it was the move 【Shadow Claw】.

Under Liepard's emerald pupils, which usually flowed with a charming aura, there was now four parts pride, three parts killing intent, and three parts indifference.

All of Liepard's movements were exposed under the Aura vision. As Liepard swung its right claw, Su Hao rolled away in advance to dodge Liepard's attack range, while his mouth didn't stop.

"Carbink, use Ancient Power!"

"Na-na!"

More than ten rocks formed by Ancient Power quickly formed around Carbink and were then launched rapidly.

However, Liepard, who hadn't succeeded in one strike, didn't panic. Its agile body still flickered and moved, easily dodging the attack of Ancient Power.

Although Ancient Power was dodged by Liepard, Su Hao remained very calm. He understood that speed-type Pokémon would be relatively difficult to hit, but the strategy was also very simple: as long as you lure it into the attack range and use area-of-effect attacks for a no-dead-angle strike, you might be able to take it down.

Su Hao linked with Carbink, letting Carbink use the Harden move and wait for Liepard to approach.

Watching Carbink constantly buffing itself, Liepard, who had been at ease, also became a bit anxious.

After thinking for a moment, Liepard turned into a phantom and appeared behind Carbink in a few breaths.

This time Liepard used both claws directly, and its sharp claws were stained with pure black; the 【Assurance】 move was activated.

Seeing Liepard take the bait, Su Hao didn't relax and immediately commanded Carbink to launch the final blow.

"Carbink, use Dazzling Gleam!"

"Na!"

The shining colorful light gushed out from the diamonds on Carbink's body. The no-dead-angle light from all directions made Liepard, who was in the air and didn't have time to adjust its posture, unable to dodge, and it had to bite the bullet and accept the baptism of this super-effective move.

The result was self-evident. Liepard, directly hit by the Dazzling Gleam released by Carbink with all its might, had its purple-and-yellow fur scorched black by Dazzling Gleam, and the whole Pokémon had lost the ability to battle.

After solving Liepard, Carbink's level finally reached 20, which was the beginning of the Normal level.
