Chapter 35: Before School Starts

Su Hao didn't know about his father's worries. Before going to bed, he opened his panel.

Name: 【Su Hao】

Gender: 【Male】

Age: 【17】

Type: 【Normal, Fighting】

Special Ability: 【Aura Power (Intermediate)】

Moves: 【Aura Resonance, Aura Sphere】

Pokémon: 【Carbink, Torracat】

System Currency: (25,000)

Items: 【High-grade Rock, Fairy-type Energy Pink Diamond x5, (Several miscellaneous items stored by the host)】

After half a month of diligent cultivation, Su Hao's Aura power finally broke through to the Intermediate level three days ago, and his detection range had expanded to about 50 meters in diameter around him.

Then, perhaps due to his great talent, after breaking through to Intermediate Aura power, Su Hao immediately set about practicing the Aura synchronization resonance technique and Aura Sphere from the Aura manual.

He mastered these two move techniques after training for only three days.

Yesterday, when Su Hao went to the Spiral Secret Realm for actual combat, he tried them against the Scyther tribe leader.

The Aura Sphere he condensed with all his might required an Elite-level Scyther to use its moves with full power to block it.

Then there were Carbink and Torracat.

Under half a month of training, Torracat finally completed its evolution yesterday under the high pressure generated by fighting the Scyther, evolving from Litten into Torracat.

Pokémon in this world don't necessarily evolve at fixed levels; it might be earlier or later.

Torracat only completed its evolution at level 20, a full three levels late.

Torracat is very similar to Litten, basically having the same color scheme, but its body size is larger than Litten's, its eyes have become more determined, and its claws are sharper.

The pattern on its head occupies more space compared to Litten's and extends from the forehead, and the color of the feathers in the middle of its head matches the color of the forehead pattern.

The bell-like object on its neck is the "Flame Sac," an organ that can produce fire. The temperature of the Flame Sac rises with Torracat's emotions, spraying fire while making a loud sound like a bell.

Su Hao received the custom-made Soothe Bell the day after he left the Flowing Water Dojo.

When making the request, Su Hao asked for materials capable of withstanding Pokémon moves to be used to make the collar that secures the bell.

The sales clerk recommended this blue silk scarf, which could withstand Pokémon elemental moves without being damaged.

Of course, it was only withstanding; the scarf itself did not possess defensive properties.

But the scarf's performance was completely in line with Su Hao's ideas. After receiving the Soothe Bell sent by the Qian Da Mall, Su Hao immediately gave it to Torracat.

Torracat loved this silk scarf with the Soothe Bell hanging on it very much.

It was completely unwilling to take it off except when bathing.

When Torracat was evolving while wearing the Soothe Bell, the light of evolution from Torracat itself suddenly fused with the Soothe Bell and the silk scarf.

After completing the evolution, the Soothe Bell on Torracat's neck did not disappear but transformed into its "Flame Sac," while the silk scarf remained on Torracat's neck.

Miraculously, the silk scarf that accompanied Torracat's evolution seemed to have become a part of Torracat itself and could not be taken off.

Although Torracat's agility did not increase after evolution, its strength and stamina had grown significantly.

Supplemented by several moves Su Hao learned for Torracat using system currency, Torracat's strength could now contend with an Elite-level Scyther.

Pokémon: 【Torracat (Wearing a blue silk scarf)】

Type: 【Fire】

Gender: 【♂】

Ability: 【Intimidate】

Item: 【Charcoal】

Level: 【20】

Moves: 【Scratch, Ember, Growl, Fake Out, Heat Wave, Nasty Plot, Payback, Lick, Roar, Fury Swipes, Fire Fang, Flamethrower, Bulk Up, Protect, U-turn, Shadow Claw, Parting Shot】

Not knowing if it was because the Soothe Bell and the silk scarf fused with Torracat during evolution, Torracat's item slot became 【None】, so Su Hao had to redeem a Charcoal with a 20% Fire-type power boost from the system for Torracat to carry.

Su Hao also specially customized moves for Torracat that were very suitable for him now and for when he evolves into Incineroar in the future.

Under Su Hao's training, Torracat had already mastered the technique of combining Fake Out with Intimidate. ===== CHAPTER 36 =====
