Chapter 418

After landing lightly, Articuno created an ice sphere as thin as a cicada's wing and carefully collected some of the blood-red mist, sealing it inside.

Then, it created dozens more ice spheres and did the same, small air currents forming under its wings to carry the spheres back into the sky.

This series of actions was completed at the edge of the secret realm, far from the Dragon Spiral Tower, and the negative energy phantom that had been lurking there did not react during the ascent.

After Articuno went to collect the blood-red mist, Su Hao and Diancie began to organize the moves they might use later.

"Power Gem, Moonblast, Light Screen and Reflect, Sunny Day, Moonlight, Dazzling Gleam, Meteor Beam, Flash Cannon."

These were all the moves related to light that Diancie had learned.

Besides these, there were 【Hyper Beam】 and 【Swift】, which she had not learned.

Why was Diancie able to be immune to the negative energy filling the space between heaven and earth?

After a heated discussion between Su Hao and Articuno, the only possibility surfaced.

【Light】

Articuno said that the Queen Diancie of a previous generation had also participated in that battle, but her power had no special effect on the negative energy released by Dark Matter or on Dark Pokémon.

Then, what was different about Su Hao's Diancie?

Aside from the fact that she was born without any warning while Xerneas was in slumber, it had to be the Diancieite she absorbed during her Carbink stage.

Articuno had also seen the Diancieite absorbed by Carbink when they completed their mutation; although the power contained in the stone was not much, its status was extremely high.

The light inside the Diancieite originated from the creator god of the Ultra Space, an alternate world, a being of the same status as Arceus, the officially designated strongest legendary Pokémon—Ultra Necrozma.

Since Articuno said it had never heard of this name, it meant that the Radiant God, Ultra Necrozma, had likely never appeared in this world.

Light and darkness have always been intertwined, mutually restraining each other, with one waxing as the other wanes.

Perhaps the power of the Radiant God, Ultra Necrozma, restrained Dark Matter?

It wasn't that Arceus wasn't capable, but in this world, Special Attack is still paramount.

After all, you are also a dragon. jpg.
