Chapter 27: Honest Confessions Get Leniency, Resistance Gets Severity

Back in his room, Bai Jing took out a Normal-type Evolution Stone and handed it to Slakoth.

"It's time for you to evolve too. Come on!"

The Slakoth took the Evolution Stone, and a fierce white light burst from its body.

Once the light faded, Slaking made its dazzling entrance.

Slaking

Gender: Male

Type: Normal (200%)

Ability: Truant

Potential: HP (SSS), Attack (SSS), Defense (S), Sp. Atk (A), Sp. Def (A), Speed (S)

Talent: Pseudo-Legendary

Strength: Ordinary (Late)

Held Items: Legend Plate, Soothe Bell

Watching the bouncing, leaping Slaking, Bai Jing smiled in satisfaction.

Even without the Truant ability it would still be extremely restless, because that is Slaking's very nature.

This was perfect — he no longer had to urge it to train, because with energy to spare it simply couldn't sit still.

Riolu watched on, full of envy.
