Chapter 115

This was the gap between a fully evolved Pokémon and a base-form Pokémon.

This wasn't something that could be won by relying on luck.

Sure enough.

A green figure was sent flying out of the dust.

Ash jumped high with quick reflexes and caught Rowlet in his arms.

Upon touching Ash's chest, Rowlet gave Ash a thumbs-up with its last bit of strength.

Then, it tilted its head and fainted.

"You worked hard, Rowlet. Leave the rest to the remaining partners."

Landing on the ground, Ash stroked Rowlet, then took out a Poké Ball and recalled Rowlet into it.

Facing two enemies far exceeding its strength in succession.

Rowlet's performance was truly stunning.

After putting away the Poké Ball.

The dust on the field also completely dissipated.

Braviary's state wasn't that good either.

One could clearly see the injuries brought about by the Brave Bird clash on its body.

"Di~"

Looking at its arrogant appearance, it was clearly very happy to have defeated Rowlet.

However, you're going to lose soon too.

Thinking this in his heart, Ash took out another Poké Ball.

"Go~"

【Gardenia: Rowlet is too cute; that last expression really killed me with cuteness.】

【Milo: Why do I feel like Rowlet didn't faint at the end, but rather fell asleep...】

【Diantha: Now that you mention it, it really seems like it; children these days really just fall asleep the moment they hit the pillow.】

Even though Rowlet was defeated, it still left a deep impression on people.

If it abandoned the Everstone and successfully evolved into Decidueye.

Rowlet's strength would definitely rise by several levels.

From a luck-based player to a strength-based player!

This... what a pity!

In the footage—

There was no time to feel sorry for Rowlet.

The one appearing next is!

A Mythical Pokémon!

—Melmetal!

With the sound of the Poké Ball opening.

Melmetal's figure appeared on the field.

Melmetal is a huge silver Pokémon, a humanoid Pokémon composed mainly of liquid metal.

The movable parts of its body are made of liquid metal.

The whole person looks like a Pokémon composed of liquid metal and huge bolts.

While full of power, it also makes people feel extremely flexible!

As soon as Melmetal appeared.

The audience heard cheers like a mountain collapse and a tsunami.

This... what is going on?

Could it be that this somewhat strange-looking Pokémon has something special?

The audience watching the livestream were like marmots in a watermelon field.

Melons everywhere, but nowhere to take a bite!

【Flint: Can anyone explain to me what is special about this Pokémon? Why do I feel like the Alola audience became exceptionally excited after seeing this Pokémon? Is it my illusion?】

【Lucian: If you don't understand, don't speak out; you don't even know this?】

【Flint: Ah? You know?】

【Lucian: Of course I don't know, but I didn't stand out and say anything either.】

【Flint: You!】

【Cynthia: Let me explain it. Melmetal is a Mythical Pokémon, or you can also call it a god.】

Just a simple sentence made everyone watching the livestream put a question mark in their minds.

What's the situation?

Why is there another god?

【Professor Magnolia: The cyclops described in the myths of distant regions is actually what Melmetal looks like after Gigantamaxing.】

【Professor Kukui: Melmetal is a Mythical Pokémon born from being worshipped for its power to produce iron; it is a genuine god!】

In other words, the Pokémon Ash summoned now.

Is really a god!

Originally, I thought Ash's team was a "baby team."

Now it seems, this is not a baby team at all.

It's clearly "playing the pig to eat the tiger"!

In the footage—

After Melmetal appeared, Braviary's gaze had a hint of shrinking.

Clearly.

It had no confidence in facing Melmetal.

"Braviary, use Air Slash."

Professor Kukui's voice sounded at this time.

Having won one round, he had an absolute advantage.

Especially since this Melmetal had only evolved not long ago.

And just like Rowlet battling Empoleon.

Braviary had the aerial advantage.

In summary.

The advantage is mine!

With the trainer's command.

Braviary immediately flapped its wings, and streaks of Air Slash flew out from between its wings.

The target was Melmetal below.

Facing such an attack, Melmetal had no reaction at all.

It seemed that in its view.

Braviary's Air Slash couldn't cause it any damage at all!

And the facts were exactly so.

Facing the incoming Air Slash, Melmetal just swung the bolts on its hands.

The overwhelming Air Slash was all shattered.

At this moment!

Melmetal displayed the strength of a Mythical Pokémon.

Even if it had just evolved.

It had the strength to crush ordinary Pokémon.

Seeing that the attack missed, Professor Kukui commanded again.

"Braviary! Fly up! Use..." ===== CHAPTER 116 =====
