Chapter 285

【Drake: Hey, Steven Champion, you really know how to comfort people.】

【Diantha: No way. Lance, at the end of the day, is just an Elite Four member. Cynthia is a proper Sinnoh Champion, and among our group of Champions, Cynthia's strength is definitely in the top tier. It's not shameful to compare with her.】

【Lance: This belongs to pure black-mouthing, right? Even if I am an Elite Four member, didn't I also have a final Champion battle with Leon in the previous broadcast?】

【Alder: Is there a possibility that you had better luck in the previous session?】

【Lance: Heh, isn't it just a Champion title! I will get it sooner or later!】

【Lorelei: Yes, yes, yes, it's just a Champion title. For our Kanto's strongest Dragon-type Elite Four member, Lance, it's absolutely easy.】

【Professor Kukui: What's with this yin-yang strange talk? Your Kanto region is not very harmonious.】

Lance: ……

What can he do about this?

With his strength, he definitely has a chance to win the Champion title in other Alliances.

But in the Kanto Alliance.

As long as Lorelei doesn't retire.

He doesn't have a chance at all.

His ace Dragonite is four times weak to Ice.

Lorelei's Cloyster can kill his Dragonite with one Aurora Beam!

How to play this!

Lance is really panicked now; after all, he is only an Elite Four member five years later.

That is to say, he will be suppressed by Lorelei for at least five more years!

Maybe even longer.

How can there be so many years of Elite Four members in the world!

No!

Must hurry up and train in the future, and capture some other Dragon-type Pokémon.

This Champion position! He must get it!

……

On the screen—

After agreeing to Ash's request.

Cynthia still looked very indifferent, but Ash was already excited.

If it weren't for the fact that he didn't have his main Pokémon with him.

Ash would have wanted to have a tense and exciting Pokémon battle with Cynthia.

As for Koharu, she was dizzy.

Since deciding to fight side by side with Ash.

Koharu has been cramming information about Pokémon battles.

And as the strongest female Trainer in the world, Cynthia naturally caught her eye at a glance.

And in such intuitive contact now.

Koharu's feeling for Cynthia became more intuitive.

Cynthia is really strong and cool!

She really! I love her so much!

"Ash, you have to work hard too. I really hope to see you on the stage of the Masters Eight battle."

Cynthia drank the remaining coffee in one gulp.

Then she looked at Ash with some expectation.

"That, of course! I will definitely become a Masters Eight member and challenge the local Champion to become the strongest!"

"Very good, very spirited."

The few chatted for a while longer.

Cynthia also learned about Ash's experiences over the past few years from Ash's mouth.

From the frustration of the Kalos League to the successful championship of the Alola League.

It can only be said that Ash's experiences over the past few years are legendary.

Cynthia didn't expect Ash's experiences to be so rich.

Especially Ash's battle with Professor Kukui.

There was even the participation of gods; it seems Ash's current strength has reached the same level as hers.

And, I didn't expect that this newly established Alola League would have such a strong person.

It seems one cannot underestimate anyone.

Ash and Koharu stayed in Sinnoh for a few more days under Cynthia's leadership?

Then the three took a plane together to Wyndon.

As the designated venue for the Masters Eight battle of the World Coronation Series.

Wyndon Stadium is indeed large enough to accommodate enough spectators.

There are still a few days before the battle between Leon and Raihan.

Before Leon's battle begins, there will be a 1v1 battle between Cynthia and Diantha first.

The World Coronation Series is still in the ranking stage.

The degree of entertainment is relatively high, so a 6v6 full battle has not been launched.

But this will not affect the enthusiasm of the audience.

This is a battle between Champions.

Ash naturally got the inner-field ticket gifted by Cynthia for this battle.

Diantha's Masters Eight ranking is fifth, while Cynthia is second.

Diantha is the challenger.

The popularity of the battle between the two female Champions is also very high, second only to Leon's battle.

After all, besides being an Alliance Champion.

Diantha's other identity is a world-famous big star, and Diantha is the strongest female Alliance Champion in the world.

The people who arrived at the scene to watch the battle on the day of the battle also packed the entire Wyndon Stadium.

Ash and Koharu sat at the very front of the auditorium.

"Ash, who do you think will win this competition? Champion Diantha also looks very strong."

Koharu tugged at Ash's sleeve nervously.

After these few days of getting along, Koharu has become a firm Cynthia supporter!

Especially after Cynthia gave her pointers on the cultivation strategy for Feebas and Milotic.

Koharu directly became Cynthia's fan girl!

"Don't worry. Champion Diantha is indeed very amazing, but Champion Cynthia will not lose."

Ash said very certainly.

【Diantha: Don't pull and step. Champion Cynthia is indeed very strong, but I'm not weak either, okay!】

【Drasna: Diantha is indeed very strong, but compared to Cynthia, she is still a bit behind. Even among all the Alliance Champions, Cynthia is one of the best.】

【Flint: I remembered one thing. Champion Diantha's ace Gardevoir's favorite move is Shadow Ball.】

【Bruno: Shadow Ball? There shouldn't be any problem with this, right.】

【Flint: Are you stupid! Gardevoir is Psychic and Fairy type. Using Shadow Ball instead of a STAB move—is this not a problem?】

【Volkner: You are not Flint, you are not right. How did you become smart!】

【Flint: You can doubt my IQ! But you cannot doubt my battle intuition! I am, after all, the Fire-type Elite Four member of the Sinnoh Alliance; I still understand this point!】

【Diantha: Fine, fine, fine, slandering me, right? You just wait, let's have a one-on-one!】

【Volkner: You are done, Flint. You have been targeted by Champion Diantha.】

Mega Gardevoir, use Shadow Ball.

This scene is a bit outrageous!

……

On the screen—

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Wyndon Stadium. The Masters Eight ranking match, the battle where the fifth-ranked Champion Diantha challenges the second-ranked Champion Cynthia, is about to begin!" ===== CHAPTER 286 =====
