Chapter 12

"Since that's the case, students who raised their hands, follow me. Let's make preparations for the exam first."

After speaking, Wang Yubo asked the students who raised their hands to line up outside and took them to the school's training hall.

Every school will build a training hall for spirit battles, which can facilitate students to train.

It can also provide training grounds for teachers' spirits.

When Wang Yubo brought everyone in Class A to the training ground, several teams had already lined up here.

Students from Class B and Class C of the third year were already lined up here waiting.

Among these people, Su Yu also saw many acquaintances.

After all the students in the third year of high school gathered in the training hall.

The principal of Yunhai No. 1 High School, Yu Dong, took the stage and started to speak.

"Students, the reason why you are gathered here today is because you are going to prepare for the spirit exam in Yunhai City next."

"A week later, Yunhai City will hold the annual spirit exam."

"Those who rank high in it can obtain the qualification for exemption from the exam by universities."

"Those who rank in the middle and upper reaches can also get extra points for the college entrance exam."

"Those who win the top three in Yunhai City will also receive awards issued by Yunhai City."

"If some students are not confident enough in their cultural course level, then the spirit exam is undoubtedly the best choice!"

"I believe you also know about the competition items of the spirit exam! That's right, it's spirit duels!"

"The exam only tests the simplest spirit duels, and awards are based on ranking."

"So, in the next week, you must train here on how to command your spirits and exert the full power of your initial spirits."

"Students can challenge anyone here; as long as the other party agrees, you can conduct a spirit duel."

"Without further ado, teachers, organize the students of each class to seize the time and train quickly."

Principal Yu Dong went up to explain the situation simply and let the head teacher of each class be responsible for commanding.

Wang Yubo also brought Class A to his training position.

Seeing that everyone was ready, he said.

"Students, our Class A will train with each other in our own class first, and after a certain period of time, we will practice with students from other classes."

"This will also facilitate us to accumulate experience."

"Let's start our first battle now. Su Yu, you first have a duel with Lu Xin, and start a head for the battle of Class A."

Lu Xin is a student in Class A with medium academic performance, but he got a Charmander as an initial spirit.

It can be said that just looking at the spirits of the two, it is difficult to distinguish who is more powerful.

Su Yu nodded and walked to one side of the competition field.

And Lu Xin of Class A, hearing the head teacher's words, also walked out of the crowd.

He looked at Su Yu and smiled brightly, "Su Yu, I am not your opponent in grades, but it may not be the case in spirit duels!"

"Your spirit duel will be like your grades, becoming my defeated opponent."

Wang Yubo saw that the atmosphere between the two was quite strong at the beginning, and nodded.

What he wanted was this atmosphere, this atmosphere where no one is convinced by anyone, and everyone dares to step forward to challenge.

After the two were ready, Wang Yubo also became a temporary referee.

"Both sides of the duel, Su Yu and Lu Xin, both sides are ready, the match begins!"

"Go out, Torchic!" "We are also going up, Charmander!"

In the blink of an eye, the two spirits appeared on the competition field.

The students of Class A were all watching the center of the field without blinking.

The duel between Su Yu and Lu Xin can already be considered a duel between masters for them.

Seeing the opponent's Charmander, Su Yu checked Charmander's attributes for the first time.

【Name: Charmander (Fire)】

【Gender: ♂】

【Level: LV. 7 (Novice)】

【Ability: Blaze (When stamina is low, increase the power of Fire-type moves)】

【Potential: Elite】

【Individual Values: Stamina (22), Attack (25), Special Attack (21), Defense (23), Special Defense (20), Speed (24)】

【Skills: Ember, Scratch, Growl】

【Introduction: When born, there is a flame burning on its tail. When the flame goes out, its life will also end.】

Obviously, whether it is aptitude or level, Lu Xin's Charmander is not the opponent of Su Yu's Torchic!

013: First victory, then one-string-five!

Lu Xin saw Su Yu's Torchic and grinned.

"Charmander, let's strike first! Use Ember to attack Torchic!"

Charmander heard the command, opened its mouth, and spat out a ball of flame.

The flame carried heat waves and flew towards Torchic.

Su Yu shook his head; Charmander uses Fire-type attacks, even if it hits, the damage caused to Torchic is limited.

"Torchic, use Quick Attack to dodge the Ember, and approach it!"

Torchic heard the instruction, and a white light appeared on its body, flying out like an arrow.

Relying on such high speed, Torchic easily dodged the Ember attack.

In just a few seconds, Torchic had approached Charmander.

"Let's use Scratch to attack!"

Torchic stretched out its sharp claws, and a white light appeared on them, attached to the claws.

Torchic was not polite either, and directly used a Scratch attack on Charmander.

Lu Xin on the opposite side saw that his Charmander was a bit dangerous and could only shout.

"Dodge quickly, Charmander!"

However, Charmander, who had just finished releasing Ember, did not have the ability to dodge the Scratch attack that was so fast.

Its body twisted halfway and was hit firmly by Torchic.

"Woo~"

Charmander let out a sad cry; it seemed that Torchic's Scratch attack caused not a little damage to Charmander.

"Hold on, Charmander! Let's also use Scratch to fight back." Lu Xin saw that Charmander was at a disadvantage and immediately gave the instruction.

So, Charmander also had its claws shine and attacked Torchic.

"Torchic, this time we dodge."

After one round, Torchic's speed also increased by one level.

So Torchic dodged Charmander's Scratch attack very agilely.

Charmander grabbed the air, and its body was a bit unbalanced.

"Take advantage of this, knock it out!"

Torchic jumped up again, hitting the unstable Charmander with a headbutt from behind.

Charmander fell to the ground, its eyes spinning.

【Torchic defeated Charmander, gained 100 experience!】

"Charmander lost the ability to fight, so the winner is Su Yu!"

Wang Yubo saw Su Yu win so cleanly and neatly, and his eyes were bright.

Although he had already sensed that Su Yu would win, he didn't expect it to be such an easy victory.

Judging from Torchic's performance just now, it was much stronger than Charmander.

"I didn't expect you to get Torchic for only one day, and it learned Quick Attack!"

Wang Yubo looked at Su Yu and said with some surprise.

"Yesterday I took Torchic out to fight, and it learned it in the battle."

Su Yu scratched his head and explained.

"Is that so? That shows that your Torchic's aptitude is very good!" Wang Yubo patted Su Yu on the shoulder. ===== CHAPTER 13 =====
