Chapter 148

"Bang!"

The Salamence's head slammed fiercely into the Haxorus's body.

"Swoosh!"

The Haxorus's giant teeth also slashed into the Salamence's body.

The two were like two Fighting-type spirits, without any fancy tricks.

All that remained was extreme violence!

"Thud, thud, thud!!"

After brawling for a short while, both had sustained significant injuries.

And their anger had also reached its peak!

The Haxorus charged directly toward the Salamence.

Its body was also directly enveloped in energy.

The Salamence did not show weakness.

It flapped its wings and sped down from high altitude.

The blue light on its body was incomparably dazzling!

The energy on the two spirits at this moment was like two dragon heads.

"Boom!"

Both sides collided directly!

In an instant, a huge crater appeared in the arena.

This was the aftermath triggered by their power!

"Bang!"

The power of both sides increased again, their energy clashing fiercely.

With a loud bang, because the energy collision was too intense, a huge explosion occurred.

The aftermath of the explosion made everyone watching feel their hearts racing!

What could be more refreshing than a hearty close-quarters battle?

......... 0

Everyone was staring fixedly at the arena, wanting to see clearly who would be able to stand in the arena.

And as the thick smoke slowly dissipated.

A spirit with blood-colored wings was stepping on another spirit!

And the spirit under its feet had already lost its ability to battle!

【The Salamence defeated the Haxorus and gained 3000 experience points!】

"Salamence!" the Salamence roared hoarsely.

Standing in the center of the arena was still it, the Salamence!

"As expected, the Salamence won! I felt it would be it!"

"Too strong! It actually went back and forth with the Haxorus in close-quarters combat! And it even defeated it!"

"That's right, and this was after defeating the Venusaur earlier; otherwise, the Salamence would probably have had an even easier time!!"

"Hiss... This Salamence is simply ridiculously strong!"

Liang Yuan saw this scene and had expected it.

He smiled bitterly, "I lost. I didn't expect that even this wouldn't defeat you. You are simply too strong!"

Liang Yuan said with complete conviction.

This match with Su Yu had completely beaten him into submission!

Whether it was speed, attack, or special attack, the Salamence was ridiculously strong in every aspect!

It had been a long time since he felt an opponent with such strong power!

And this was while being two years younger than him; he really couldn't believe what level Su Yu's strength would grow to by the time he was a junior!

Su Yu also recalled the battered Salamence into its Poké Ball.

Then he prepared to take it for treatment.

Just then, a voice appeared.

"Wait a minute! I have an objection!!"

Everyone looked toward the source of the voice; it was Lin Guangxiang, who had been defeated first.

"What objection do you have?" Wu Zhi walked onto the arena and asked.

Lin Guangxiang pointed at Su Yu and said, "I suspect he cheated!"

"Oh!?" Wu Zhi asked with interest, "Then tell me, how did he cheat!?"

"We have all seen Su Yu's performance."

Lin Guangxiang straightened his appearance and then said, "It was stated before the battle that spirits raised in advance could not be used."

"And Su Yu has absolutely violated this rule!!"

"Whether it's his Milotic, his Ninetales, or his Salamence, I don't believe these are spirits that a freshman can raise!"

"Therefore, I hope for a strict investigation into whether these spirits were raised by Su Yu this year!"

Lin Guangxiang's voice reached everyone's ears.

And the crowd watching also began to discuss it one after another.

"That's right, I also think there's a problem; Su Yu's strength seems a bit too strong! Could these spirits have been raised by him since he was small?"

"Yeah, his strength is so high; if they were all raised since he was small, that would make sense! If I had raised spirits since I was small, I wouldn't be bad either!"

"I actually believe Su Yu; after all, he was recognized by Champion Hong. Who doesn't know that Champion Hong has a high standard!?"

"That's right, I also think Su Yu is fine; let's see what Instructor Wu says in a moment."

Everyone had different opinions, and there was no definitive conclusion.

So everyone cast their gaze toward Wu Zhi.

Now only he could explain what exactly was going on.

106: News of Ho-Oh!

Wu Zhi saw everyone looking at him, his expression unchanged.

He looked at Lin Guangxiang and asked, "Lin Guangxiang, you suspect there's a problem with Su Yu's spirits, right?"

Lin Guangxiang nodded.

Moreover, his eyes were filled with certainty!

He didn't believe that someone could have such strong spirits in their freshman year!

This was absolutely not something a human could do!

However, Wu Zhi shook his head and said.

"If it were an ordinary person, it might indeed be as you say. But Su Yu is not an ordinary person!"

These words from Wu Zhi undoubtedly told everyone that Su Yu's spirits were indeed raised through his own hard work!

Lin Guangxiang turned pale upon hearing this, "How is that possible! It's absolutely impossible for anyone to do such a thing!"

Wu Zhi took out a document from his person, flicked the paper, and said.

"As early as when Champion Hong Wu helped Su Yu register, he felt that someone would worry about this matter."

"Therefore, Champion Hong Wu has already told me the time Su Yu obtained his spirits and the time he spent raising them."

"After my verification with the official system, it can be confirmed that there are no problems with Su Yu's spirits!"

"All his spirits were captured only after he obtained his starter spirit!"

Hearing this, Lin Guangxiang still refused to believe it and said, "Then why did his spirits grow so fast!? It's absolutely impossible for ordinary spirits to evolve so quickly!"

Wu Zhi said indifferently, "That's because almost every one of Su Yu's spirits has consumed a Secret Treasure!"

Upon hearing this, everyone present exploded!

"Holy crap! Every spirit has consumed a Secret Treasure? That would be billions, right!? A single Dragon Fang for a Salamence would be nearly a billion, right?"

"Hiss... So terrifying! Aren't Secret Treasures very rare? Where did he get so many!"

"Up until now, I have barely managed to get one Secret Treasure, and that was something my family spent a lot of effort to obtain. Su Yu actually has one for every spirit!?"
