Chapter 15

"Squirtle!" "Torchic!"

One red and one blue figure appeared on the field.

"Torchic!" "Squirtle!"

After the two spirits appeared, they looked at each other full of fighting spirit.

At the beginning, Liang Wenshan couldn't wait to give the instruction.

"Heh, Su Yu, the winner this time is definitely me! Squirtle, use Water Gun on Torchic!"

Water Gun can cause double damage to Torchic, so it is very suitable as a first attack.

Although Su Yu's Torchic level is higher than Squirtle, he still doesn't dare to be careless.

"Torchic, use Agility to dodge, and then approach Squirtle, use Scratch to attack."

Before, Su Yu fought some weak spirits and didn't let Torchic release Agility at all.

This time, Su Yu decided to let Torchic go all out!

Torchic, who used Agility, became very fast.

It jumped to the side, dodging the Water Gun attack like a flexible loach.

Subsequently, Torchic stepped on its two claws and approached Squirtle.

In the blink of an eye, Torchic arrived beside Squirtle, raised a claw, and scratched towards Squirtle.

"Squirtle, use Withdraw quickly, and then hit it!"

Liang Wenshan was very surprised that Torchic could use Agility.

However, he immediately gave the command.

"Squirtle." Squirtle responded, and then retracted into the hard shell.

Relying on the defense of the shell, Squirtle ate Torchic's attack hard, but it almost didn't suffer any damage.

Not only that, after Squirtle used Withdraw, it also spun with its shell and hit Torchic.

This blow can be said to be a perfect combination of defense and attack.

"Torchic, jump to the left to dodge."

Su Yu saw Squirtle use Withdraw, and also knew that he needed to avoid its edge, so he ordered Torchic to dodge.

Relying on its extremely fast speed, Torchic easily dodged Squirtle's attack again.

After this round, Torchic's Speed Boost ability was activated, and its speed increased again!

Just a short exchange made the audience scream.

"Damn, Su Yu's Torchic is so fast! It actually learned Agility; this should be a genetic skill!"

"Liang Wenshan is also good; his reaction is also very fast. It's also very exciting to order Squirtle to use Withdraw."

"Damn, watching their battle, I feel like I'm not their opponent at all; if I meet them, I guess I'll lose."

"Didn't expect it, this game is so exciting."

The students of Class A were all sweating for Su Yu at this time.

Although they trusted Su Yu, they still didn't have any hope for Su Yu under the double disadvantage of attribute and stamina.

"Su Yu, well done!"

"Su Yu, come on!"

The people in Class A cheered for Su Yu one after another. ===== CHAPTER 16 =====

016: Victory! The crowd's astonishment!

In the center of the arena, the battle between Su Yu and Liang Wenshan was still ongoing.

Relying on its super-fast speed, Torchic was able to maintain the initiative the entire time.

And although Squirtle had the advantage of type effectiveness, it simply couldn't touch Torchic.

It was unable to deal a single point of damage to Torchic.

"Torchic, use Growl to distract Squirtle!"

Torchic immediately opened its mouth and let out a loud cry.

Hearing Torchic's imposing cry, Squirtle couldn't help but take two steps back.

"Squirtle, don't be affected by him! Since Water Gun can't hit him, then we'll use Tackle and charge straight at him!"

Liang Wenshan gritted his teeth and issued the command.

He never expected Su Yu's Torchic to be this troublesome.

He had assumed that after going through so many battles, Torchic would have already run out of stamina.

But looking at it now, Torchic hadn't consumed much stamina at all!

Squirtle's Water Gun was completely ineffective, so he had no choice but to let Squirtle engage in close-quarters combat.

Upon hearing the command, Squirtle stretched out its head.

It coiled its legs, launched itself like a projectile, and charged headfirst toward Torchic.

"Hmph." Su Yu sneered inwardly at the sight.

He had just used Growl to lower Squirtle's attack power; at this point, the Tackle posed no threat to Torchic at all.

"Torchic, we'll charge back too, use Flame Charge!"

This was a skill Torchic had learned when it leveled up just moments ago; although it was a Fire-type skill, it had nothing to fear when clashing head-on with Squirtle.

Torchic also continuously burned its fire energy, and a mass of flames erupted from its body!

Torchic was enveloped in crimson flames, and even the air became scorching hot.

"Torchic!" After accumulating its energy, Torchic charged straight into Squirtle's Tackle!

Instantly, a ball of fire collided with Squirtle.

"Boom!!"

After the collision, Torchic spun in the air a few times before landing safely on the ground.

As for Squirtle, it fell from the air and landed heavily on the ground.

"Squirtle!"

Squirtle let out a mournful cry.

Although the fire attack caused limited damage to it, because Torchic's level was higher, it still inflicted some injuries.

On top of that, falling from the air left it seeing stars and feeling dizzy.

"Torchic, end this match! Use Scratch!"

Su Yu issued the final command.

Torchic swiftly arrived in front of Squirtle, its claws glowing with white light; after two quick swipes, Squirtle's eyes began to swirl.

【Torchic defeated Squirtle, gaining 70 experience points!】

"Squirtle is unable to battle, so the winner is Su Yu from Class 3-A!"

As the referee, Wang Yubo immediately announced the victory upon seeing the outcome.

Instantly, the battle hall erupted into a lively commotion!

"Holy crap, Su Yu's Torchic actually won! And it won so decisively! Is this for real?"

"Didn't Su Yu just get his spirit? Why do I feel like Torchic is stronger than Squirtle in every aspect?"

"Damn, Liang Wenshan didn't even win this? Didn't he swear before he left that he would definitely win?"

"What an amazing match! I can't believe this was fought by two people who just got their spirits."

People from other classes were all discussing it one after another.

The students in Class A, seeing that Su Yu had won yet again, all cheered loudly.

"Su Yu! You're awesome!!!"

"Damn, a six-win streak! This is a six-win streak! Su Yu is too strong!"

"Six-win streak! Six-win streak!!"

People from other classes, seeing this, asked in confusion.

"How is it a six-win streak? Isn't this just one match?"

The students of Class A proudly responded, "You don't know? Before Su Yu stepped up, his Torchic had already won five in a row in our class!

Liang Wenshan took advantage of the situation, wanting to challenge Su Yu while his Torchic was low on stamina.

But we didn't expect Su Yu's Torchic to be so strong; it didn't even rest and went straight into the match! So it counts as a six-win streak!"
