Chapter 172

"This young man is too terrifying! I'm afraid I wouldn't last a minute if I met him."

Wang Tao smiled bitterly, didn't expect he would be defeated just like that.

It was also defeated by his junior from half a year ago.

Using the same Blaziken.

Only half a year passed, and he was no longer his opponent.

Thinking of this, Wang Tao sighed somewhat.

However, soon, he regained his spirit.

Victory and defeat are common in military affairs, so he wouldn't be decadent because of this.

"Congratulations, Junior Su Yu." Wang Tao walked over and said.

"Haven't seen you for half a year, your strength is already this strong. Just a freshman, and I'm already not your opponent!"

Hearing Wang Tao's words, the spectators present were all shocked one after another.

"This young man is only a freshman!? Really?"

"No wonder he looks so young, so he's a freshman? This is too terrifying!"

"Holy crap, my spirits hadn't even evolved when I was a freshman, he actually went to challenge the gym and won? Am I crazy or is the world crazy?"

"This child will definitely achieve great things in the future!"

"Nonsense, do you even need to say that!?"

Not caring about the discussions of others.

Su Yu nodded and smiled, "It's all thanks to the senior's guidance at that time."

Wang Tao smiled bitterly twice, "Don't mock me, even if I didn't teach you, I'm afraid your growth speed would still be this fast."

"By the way, do you want to go eat together later, my treat." Wang Tao also issued an invitation.

Su Yu didn't refuse either.

And at this time, what Su Yu didn't know was that his battle video was spreading crazily on the internet!

Originally, a Gym Leader represented the strength of a region.

And Su Yu defeating a Gym Leader at such a young age directly made him popular on the internet.

"Shocking, the most powerful freshman in history! Gym Leader is not an opponent!"

"Ultimate battle, the strength of a freshman!"

"The battle between the moon and the sun, the power of the Fire-type!"

"Mega Charizard vs Blaziken, the final winner is actually..."

Countless people clicked into the video because of the title.

Some people even wanted to say at first if the Gym Leader's strength was too weak and he didn't use his full strength.

As a result, when they finished watching the video and found that the Gym Leader even used Mega Evolution, they instantly fell silent!

"Is this really a freshman...? Handsome and strong, why?"

"Holy crap! This Blaziken is also too handsome? Why is his Blaziken's fire golden!? Simply like a god!"

"This last scene made me wet, is this the power of the Fire-type?"

"I thought that after Mega Evolution, the winner would definitely be Charizard, but didn't expect Blaziken to win!"

And when everyone on the internet was discussing it...

There were also quite a few people talking about Su Yu on the internet.

"What, he is a student at Tianyun University!? He was the first in the city exam back then!?"

"Holy crap, handsome, highly educated, and strong? May I ask what his shortcomings are?"

"The shortcoming is that he is not my boyfriend, otherwise everything would be perfect!"

"Hiss... He actually won first place in the Tianyun University freshman competition! And he also has a Salamence!!!"

"Holy crap! Not only is he strong, but he also has a pseudo-legendary, this doesn't let people live!?"

"Not only that, it is said that he also has a Milotic! The most beautiful spirit in the world!"

"Let me hit my head and die? Why is his freshman year so amazing? I'm also a freshman, but my Charmander hasn't evolved yet!"

Countless netizens, upon seeing Su Yu's life resume, all expressed that he simply opened a cheat code.

And because of this, Su Yu became unstoppable on the internet.

Countless netizens expressed that they were fans of Su Yu.

Even quite a few fan girls formed fan groups for Su Yu.

All of this didn't affect Su Yu.

Ever since he battled Wang Tao, he started his training journey again.

In these days, Su Yu kept letting his spirits train the application of moves and skills.

It is well known that some spirits will trigger abnormal states when using big moves.

For example, after using Hyper Beam, one will become unable to move.

And Su Yu was letting his spirits release skills more often, striving to overcome this shortcoming.

However, after training for a period of time, Su Yu found that although there were results, they were not much.

This kind of thing must be trained for years and months to achieve good results.

The January winter vacation passed quickly.

During this period.

Su Yu was either taking his spirits to grind levels or going to train with his spirits.

Now his spirit attributes had increased, and mutual sparring was also a very good choice.

So Su Yu often let them battle each other, familiarizing themselves with how to battle opponents with attribute advantages.

And in this month, Su Yu also obtained the Mega Stones for Aggron, Sceptile, and Gardevoir sent by the Alliance.

Up to this point, Su Yu could be considered to have all the Mega Stones.

Not long after February, Tianyun University also ushered in the start of the school season!

Su Yu and Yan Ruyue embarked on the journey to school again.

"Su Yu, are you confident about this National College Student Competition?"

On the high-speed rail, Yan Ruyue asked with concern.

She knew that Su Yu was going to participate in this year's competition.

Su Yu nodded and said confidently, "Don't worry, my spirits' strength is already enough. I have great certainty."

Seeing Su Yu's confident appearance, Yan Ruyue also leaned on Su Yu's shoulder and felt relieved, because Su Yu would never do things he wasn't sure about.

Since he said so, he must be very confident.

Now Su Yu, after such a long training, his spirits' strength was very strong.

Like Salamence, it had officially entered quasi-Champion strength, reaching level 55, while Blaziken had the highest level, 57.

Luxio and Milotic's levels had just broken through level 50.

Aggron and Sceptile, the two spirits, had reached around level 47.

Ninetales' level was 44.

As for Gardevoir and Zweilous, they were level 34 and 37 respectively!

Zweilous was also only one step away from evolving into Hydreigon!

Therefore, in the time leading up to the competition, Su Yu only needed to train Gardevoir and Zweilous!

As long as he pulled up the levels of these two spirits, his lineup could be considered complete!

Although it wasn't that all main forces were quasi-Champion level, relying on Salamence and Blaziken as the finale, Su Yu wouldn't lose.

Not to mention he still had Articuno and Suicune in his hands! These two spirits could ensure Su Yu's victory!

Therefore, after arriving at school, Su Yu also immediately arranged a training plan for Gardevoir and Zweilous.

Among them, Zweilous's level improvement had a key prop.

That is the Dragon Fang that hadn't been given to him all along.
