Chapter 338

After all, if there really were people who believed in metaphysics and wanted to make a move on him.

After knowing about this, they should stop directly.

This matter could be considered as wearing a layer of protective clothing for Su Yu.

So Su Yu didn't refute it either.

He just walked to his lounge and rested quietly there.

And the arena would not pause because of everyone's hesitation.

The subsequent matches were still proceeding smoothly.

Su Yu was also observing his opponents while resting.

Their strength was still quite good.

After all, they were contestants in the finals of the Champion Challenge preliminary rounds.

They were equivalent to the top batch of trainers.

No matter what, they wouldn't be too weak.

Although many were still slightly inferior compared to Su Yu, that's comparing to Su Yu!

Su Yu is a cheating player and cannot be included among them.

And among all the contestants present, no one could treat this match calmly.

So everyone was watching the following matches very seriously.

The shock and suspicion regarding Su Yu were also pushed aside.

The following matches proceeded very smoothly.

Su Yu also thoroughly understood his opponents.

And precisely because of the rapid progress of the matches, the top fifty to advance had already been decided.

Not only did Shi Chen, whom Su Yu had defeated earlier, successfully advance, but even Du Kang, the top ten contestant from last year whom Su Yu first met in the contestants' room, also advanced directly.

Among this group of people, Du Kang was indeed in the strongest batch, even stronger than Shi Chen by quite a bit.

It's no wonder Du Kang was a top ten contestant last year.

This kind of strength was indeed enough to break into the top ten. This year, for him, it was probably a matter of course.

And very soon, the Champion Challenge preliminary rounds would begin the fifty-to-twenty-five matches.

The computer also very quickly arranged the match schedule for all contestants.

This time, when Su Yu saw his opponent, his heart tightened slightly.

Because his opponent, named Wu Hongyun, was a contestant who had advanced with a perfect record in the previous points matches.

She was also one of the few female contestants who could advance; although she was over thirty, she was a female trainer with real strength.

Her strength could be said to be slightly stronger than Shi Chen's.

But not as good as Du Kang, who was in the top ten last year.

For Su Yu, this match could also be considered a tough battle.

And what Wu Hongyun excelled in were Water-type Pokémon.

Most of her Pokémon's main combat power was Water-type.

In fact, the more powerful a trainer is, the more the attributes of the Pokémon they train will gradually become single-minded.

This is because when training Pokémon, cultivating single-attribute Pokémon is much more convenient than cultivating all-attribute ones.

If a person excels in cultivating Fire-type Pokémon, then when they choose to cultivate Water-type Pokémon.

They will be troubled by the completely different personalities and living habits of the Pokémon.

This will further lead to slower Pokémon cultivation.

In this world, Champions are the same.

For example, Champion Ye Lingzhi, whom Su Yu met before.

She was a Fire-type Champion.

As long as it was cultivating Fire-type Pokémon, she could cultivate them very quickly.

And fully bring out the potential that Fire-type Pokémon should have.

This is also the reason why the attributes of the opponents Su Yu met after coming to the Champion Challenge became increasingly single-minded.

Beginners might feel that cultivating all-attribute Pokémon is very cool and can directly prevent their team from being countered.

But as they grow older, and as their energy wanes.

They will eventually move toward the path of single-attribute Pokémon.

This is a natural law.

For so many years, the only possible exception is Su Yu!

Because Su Yu is completely different from these people.

At only twenty years old.

He has already walked the path that others take decades to walk.

And even walked it better than many people!

This is also the reason why so many people are praising Su Yu.

There's no way around it; it's too terrifying.

It's like in a past life, someone is a thirty-year-old doctoral student specializing in one discipline, and you are not even twenty.

Yet you are proficient in all majors, and in every aspect, you don't lose to others, and can even surpass them.

Who wouldn't admire such a person?

Back to the point, so an opponent like Wu Hongyun is still very powerful.

……

"Please have contestants Wu Hongyun and Su Yu proceed to the competition arena!"

At this moment, after the previous match ended.

Information about the next match quickly came over the broadcast.

Su Yu and Wu Hongyun, after hearing their names, both walked toward the arena.

"Su Yu, come on! Go for it!"

"Sister Wu, come on! You are our pride! The style of Water-type Pokémon is in your hands!"

"Su Yu, absolutely don't lose! Sprint!"

……

For a time, the audience cheered one after another.

And Su Yu discovered that Wu Hongyun's popularity among the audience was still relatively high.

According to the information Su Yu just looked up about Wu Hongyun.

It should be because Wu Hongyun also came from an ordinary background.

After all, in this world, the class structure is still very solid, and the upper class controls a lot of excellent resources.

And those who can successfully cross class boundaries on their own are very worthy of respect.

Wu Hongyun is just like that.

However, Su Yu would not show mercy to her because of this.

This is a competition, and as long as it is a competition, Su Yu will go all out and treat it seriously.

"Both contestants are ready, the match begins!"

The referee waved a small flag and blew the whistle.

"I'm counting on you, Tentacruel!"

Wu Hongyun's Pokémon was a fierce-looking Tentacruel.

It looked very imposing.
